Due to thunderstorms during Rockville, Hooters went from a quiet lunch crowd to absolutely slammed with a line out the door. We went two days in a row. First day, the kitchen got a little backed up, but the manager got involved and got our order out. Day two, they were on their game. It's not easy for any business to go from 20% to 150% instantly. Kat was an awesome server 5 stars there. Buffalo Chicken Tacos 3 star, asked for medium and there was no spice at all. Granted, haven't been to a Hooters in a minute but that's not at all what I remember. That was down right depressing. Unable to order 1)2 order of Fried Pickles,1 star. Restaurants need to realize not everyone eats with others first off. Secondly not everyone has the ability to reheat and some things also don't reheat well. This is even more true in a tourist town like Daytona where many are staying in hotels. While I only live half hour away, I'm here for Mustangs at Daytona and won't be home again till this evening so leftovers would sit in my car all day, no thanks. Stopped here tonight on our way back to Orlando after a cheer competition as we were starving. Never been a big fan of Hooters. The food is always crappy and I've noticed over the years. The restaurant is very dirty. I was pleasantly surprised with this Hooters. It was clean. The servers were amazing and my buffalo chicken sandwich was delicious. It was juicy was not greasy at all. Whoever was cooking tonight, nailed it. My Husband had a Philly cheesesteak which was dry and not enough cheese so they need to work on that but other than that, everything was great. Service was bad overall. When we arrived the host wanted to sit us at an uncleaned table that had been bussed but hadn't been revisited for cleaning or by the server for their receipt slips. I asked her if we could have a booth to get a new clean table. The table didn't seem to be assigned to a server because we waited and waited to be helped.. the restaurant was not busy being it was a Thursday night. We ordered drinks, an appetizer and some wings/fries. The wings and fries came out before the appetizer and the fries were cold unseasoned and overall bland. We did a split with the wings.. buffalo and Chipotle honey. While the chipotle honey was the only star of the night the buffalo wings lacked sauce and overall what sauce was there was pooled on the paper and not on the wings themselves. read more

Wow, what's happened to Hooters...slow service, weak drinks, and atmosphere different than I've ever experienced at a Hooters. This is Daytona...what happened to this AMERICAN eatery? A few friends and I stopped in to Hooters around 2:30 pm for a bite to eat before moving on to Destination Daytona during Bike week. It was a busy Saturday afternoon with a wait of about 10 minutes. Not bad at all seeing how Hooters is right across from the speedway and was packed to the nines. Honestly, I don't know how they go us in so fast. Maybe because it was 50 degrees out and we asked for outside seating. Regardless, all of the outside seating was practically full yet they were able to fit another 6-top into the mix. Our waitress Brianna was great. She was quick to provide drinks and other accommodations. Unfortunately, our food took well over an hour to arrive to the table. Brianna stopped by several times during our long wait to reassure us that the kitchen did not forget about our order. I have never waited over an hour for my food before and hope that this is not routine operation in this particular store. We made the best of the long wait and caught up on some conversation in the meantime. Overall, the food was passable at best. There were just too many things that went wrong that tainted the whole experience. I ordered the BYOB Burger ($11.59) and made it a Triple Decker ($2 more). The burger came with a choice of cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions and fries. I asked for a Medium Temp. burger yet it arrived Ultra-Well-Done. I had to slather mayo and ketchup on each bite and chase the concoction with a quick gulp of water to avoid choking on the dried meat patties. This was actually my first meal for the day, so I just went with it and downed the burger like Kobayashi in a hot dog eating contest. A few other things to note about our experience: * Curly Fries came out lukewarm. * Some Fries were not delivered with the meal. * One order came out 10 minutes after all other orders. * Sides and condiments were not delivered by food runners. * Difficult to get drink refills. It wasn't all bad. The staff were very friendly and really tried their best to accommodate everyone. I can only imagine how "in the weeds" the kitchen staff was throughout the day being the first Saturday of Bike week 2020. I give the staff credit for pushing through and getting us everything we ordered regardless of how busy they were. I would definitely return at another time to see if the experience is any better. However, with all the great choices in the area, it may be a while before I return. read more

Food was on point, service was great. Surprisingly slow but it was a Wednesday early evening. Place was clean and seemed well maintained.

I had the most incredible dining experience thanks to Gigi and the chef. The service was impeccable and the food was delivered with an upbeat infectious personality and smile. In fact, it was so good that I treated her to a generous tip and allowed her to drive my Lamborghini. It put a big smile on her face and it was worth it. The chef did a great job with the grilled chicken Caesar salad. He'll get to drive the Ferrari as a treat next time I visit. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon read more

THIS WAS THE WORST PLACE IN DAYTONA!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! WAS NOT BUSY AT ALL! We waiting 2 hours to get our COLD FOOD!!! She never refilled our waters after asking 3 time. The table behind us didn't have a good experience either. (Waited 2 hours also and food was cold) When we asked for a manager she threw her hands up at us and walked away. The manager comes out and I tell her EVERYTHING! Never refilled our drinks Food was cold Took forever (for no reason) Forgot onion rings Forgot 3 ranches Grilled cheese was Bert (and cold)! No straws with our drinks Burgers were thin and way to cooked We told her we got bad service. So half service, half the price, right? She said "okay that's fine" She bring our bills out with -8 off! Conveniently located in front of Daytona's International Speedway, this Hooter's customer traffic sure can't be beat..! Service - My 2nd. time at this location. 1st. time - had a good enough experience to try them out a 2nd. time as I passed through Daytona. This time service was fair & barely reaching average. The place wasn't packed but as Summer's go, everybody wishes they were somewhere else other than at work. The food/drink bill can add up so best service should be a given...it doesn't matter how "cute" the servers think they are. Place - Have to say that it's one of the prettier Hooter's I've been to. It's clean & ample with TV's all around televising all imaginable sports. Food - All in all, the food was fair. The turnaround from ordering to the food on the table was fairly quick. My naked wings were tender but my hubby's sliders were a bit tough so he ended sharing my wings. Curly Fries - not golden & crispy but more like slightly cold & not fresh tasting. Cheese sticks - breading to cheese ratio on point. If you love the Hooter's brand, I'm sure this one won't disappoint; but if you're not, you may consider other food options. What a waste of time and money at Hooters. I spent 40 minutes and 40 dollars on this BS. I placed my order at 9:40pm, and it wasn't ready until 10:20pm. And this was what I got: a cold bun that wasn't even toasted, and sliced onions? Of course (see the pictures) Both Twisted Texas Melt were poorly assembled with all the ingredients placed sloppily and they didn't appear to be the same sandwiches. The girl at the bar saw me waiting for more than half an hour and she didn't make any effort to help me. I had to tell her that I wanted to cancel my order for her to go to the kitchen and bring it out 5 minutes later, what a joke of a service. So, I use to frequent this place in South Florida, way back in the day. I came to this one 20 years ago with my flight crew. I've been to others around the country but not the one on ISB since. I ordered the Chicken sangawich w/ 3 mile, of course. The second order was a BYOB burger. I got it home and OMG. Just as I remembered. Great burger. 2 patties, just the way we wanted. The chicken sangawich, well, what can I say. Excellent. A nice piece of chicken, smothered in 3 mile. Onion rings are good. The restaurant was clean with many waitresses. Madison at the bar, was great. She was quick and very courteous. I ordered on line. The order was ready for pickup when I arrived. Nice job! In all, I'm so glad that this place is still so good. If they only had the chicken pasta from back in the day. I regress. Anyway, if you haven't been here or think this place is not good, you need to come in and have them change your mind. My almost 13 year old son found a place that he said he had to take me when I got into town. Hooters. Service is extremely slow because they are understaffed. There's even a sign out front so I guess you can't complain because they warn you before you come in. I had the Daytona Beach wings and they were just OK. That blue cheese is definitely very low on my liked list. It's extremely running. Honestly think the highlight of everyone's meal was the Caesar salad. Just a normal Hooters. My boys said that it wasn't as good as they had heard but my daughter wants to go back. Does have military discount. read more

This was an experience I wish I could just forget. Bad service and mediocre food. It was really a shame because I love Hooters wings. The first problem was when I was seated. I wasn't given a menu and when the waitress came to the table her attitude was demeaning of the use of a physical menu. I honestly have no interest in scanning and using my phone. Her tone was condescending toward me, which means things were already getting off to a bad start. I ordered 10 wings naked, hot, wet. She ran off with my order and I didn't see her again for a very long time. It was taking so long to fill my order that I almost walked out. But, I knew that Hooters wings were worth the wait. I was then very surprised to see one of the guys that works in the back kitchen bring me my order of wings. While I have no issues with the guys in the back, I'm pretty sure they aren't supposed to be serving food. In all the times I've eaten at Hooters, I've never even seen these guys. I've had other waitresses bring me my order but never the cooks. Then I got a good look at the wings. Uggg, they were blackened and covered with sauce. They looked like they had been overcooked and then smothered with sauce. It was very unappetizing to look at. I was so angry about the entire situation that I couldn't complain because a flurry of profanity and insults would have filled the room. That isn't how you handle situations. No one should be treated that way. I remained sitting and waited for the waitress. She came over, and I told her I wanted a go box because I didn't want to be there anymore. I was very angry. She didn't ask why, but she seemed very nervous around me. She gave me my box and the ticket. I paid and left. I'm burned and will not go back to this place. The entire experience was inexcusable. Fun place but...as prices go up portions go down. Great friendly service and ive always enjoyed the food we've ordered. My favorite are buffalo shrimp and the fried chicken salad (one of the rare fried anythings i eat). We used to go several times a month. Now we go maybe once in awhile. The cost and portion have really kept us away. But they are great and 100 times better than wing house. My husband will and does eat everything but will not eat anything from wing house. My server was great and made sure everything was okay. I notice on the wall that this hooters has one two grill offs so I was surprised to see that. Hi a bunch of my buddies and I were in Daytona for the spring race. After the race we decided to get some food and went to Hooters. We were greeted by a tall slender blonde girl. We just wanted to take her home in a doggie bag ( hahahahahaha). She took us to us to our table and we ordered a bunch of cold beer and mega orders of wings. The 2 things Hooters are known for. Our 2 servers brought out beers and took our orders. Two beers later our wings came and they were outstanding. We consumed that ordered of wings and ordered 2 more orders. We also ordered 2 more rounds of beer. After we ate all the wings we thanked the server and told her we don't have service like this in New York. She will see us again in the fall and keep up the great service. read more

TRUST THE REVIEWS. If you love slow service and cold food this place is for you!! We got to Hooters, at 7:20. We had a party of 7. There was a little bit of a wait which was expected cuz it was bike week and a motocross race was right across the street. We sat down, our waitress was cool, took our orders and that was it. She never once came back to refill our drinks. We waited over an hour for our food. We started sharing waters at our table because when we asked for refills for all of us....she brought us 3. . There was 7 of us. Our one friend ordered onion rings as a side and never got them. Took an extra 10 min for our two friends to get their meals when we already got ours, and his sandwich was burnt. We eventually called the manager over because we were fed up. We told the manager we wanted 50% off because our service was half assed. She agreed to it. We waited another long period of time for just our checks. Wanna know what our bill turned out to be after the "discount"?? $8.00 off.... of a $30.00 bill. When we asked the manager we were told to call back the next day to talk to the Main Manager to be reimbursed because she can only do $8.00. We were there for 2 hours. And when we left, all the tables outside, were gone. The waitress brought out our tabs and didn't even give us a pen to at least sign our checks. Threw her hands up and ran into the bar and that was the last we saw her. Never got an apology, never checked on us. Nothing. Another two tables had the same complaint about a completely different waitress being slow and when was told their food was cold, she said "sorry" and walked away. We've been going to Hooters for over 30 years where ever we travel. Recently we've noticed the the wings must be coming from pigeons, they are sooooo small. We will be getting our wings from Publix if we want wings. And it's not only this location. It's also Port Charlotte FL. The pickle on the sliders are bigger than the meat. Someone at corporate better step up their game and stop being so cheep. It costs money to be cheep. Love all the employees there though. And $12 for a pitcher of beer is crazy. read more
