People say after us - served before us - not sure where the issue is tonight. But, our server has vanished to the kitchen. Others are coming out. I am not one for leaving bad reviews. By far, this is the worst food in Destin. We normally do not eat at chain restaurants while in town, but we made an exception tonight. Our entire table of 5 regretted that decision. We had 3 different flavors of wings, burgers, chicken, and shrimp. All were cold, bland, and just overall bad! We wish that we would have gone to the Golden Arches because $180 was just a total waste! I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Hooters, where I was subjected to discriminatory treatment based on my nationality. As a regular customer who has been served numerous times before, I was shocked. Upon presenting my foreign government ID, which had been accepted on previous visits, I was informed by the staff that they now only accept US IDs. My foreign government ID is a valid and legal form of identification. The staff refused to serve me, citing my foreign nationality as the reason. This discriminatory behavior is not only offensive but also goes against the principles of equality and inclusivity that should be upheld by any establishment. Hooters' refusal to serve me solely because I am a foreigner is a clear violation of these principles. I hope that they will take this matter seriously and work towards rectifying their discriminatory practices. The food was great & Megan was our server. She paid attention to our needs & was responsive. The interior was clean but a little dated. I got 10 wings extra crispy & wet with curly fries. I asked for the fries to be hot & they were perfect! My friend got fries with chili & cheese. He was impressed with the fact the cheese was hot. The food is just not good. Between my party we had traditional, boneless and a Philly sandwich. The wings came out cold, both the traditional and the boneless. Then when we had them sent back and they came out again the crunch was just not normal consistency. I did not enjoy the taste of the wings themselves either. The Philly was okay but had a slight after taste of been sitting in the fridge a few days. We went in hungry and when I'm hungry it is very hard for something to not taste good, but I lost my appetite after 2 wings.
