if was our first time coming to longhorn and we had such a great meal! the bread was warm and delicious. for entree, we shared the t bone steak. we ordered medium but came out medium rare, which was fine for me. however, the filet portion was so tiny. it was a little sad. i understood that the cut has a more pronounced strip than filet but i was not expecting it to be that small. we should've ordered the porterhouse. despite that, the steak was seasoned well, tender, and juicy. the baked potato and mac and cheese were great as well. overall, we had a great meal and time. the staff was friendly and professional. we definitely recommend to anyone to come visit! read more

Three and a half stars but very close to four, the lamb chops is what drew me here but was expecting a more personalized way of handling the cooking with less of a gamey flavor, I am aware that lamb should taste as lamb but I wasn't expecting this to be as strong as it was maybe because by the fact that the fat wasn't trimmed, I yet have to have lamb like I had in Rome a few years ago. Service was average, the place wasn't busy maybe just 10 or 12 tables on a midweek lunch service. I want to share my disappointment with the customer service we received during our visit to LongHorn Steakhouse. Unfortunately, our experience got off to a poor start because of the host who seated us. The host was unfriendly, unwelcoming, and made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. First impressions matter, and this interaction set a negative tone for our entire dining experience. Overall not the best experience. The food was amazing but the service was not great. We got seated at a patio table with dirty dishes on it. We ordered an appetizer, salads and steaks. The waiter forgot to give us our appetizers and salads. The appetizers "got bumped off of the screen" and we did not get them until we were finished with our steaks. Ordered takeout after work and it was ready when I pulled up. Server brought the bag out and I headed home ready for a great filet dinner with my husband. Pulled everything out and it was all there exactly as I had ordered including extra napkins. The filets were cooked to perfection and the salads had plenty of dressing on the side. We ordered filet steak with lobster tail, filet steak with shrimp, a sirloin steak and grilled salmon. All meals were well prepared although one steak was a little under cooked. The baked potatoes were excellent and all enjoyed their house salads. Service was excellent and even given it was Mother's Day, our food was delivered reasonably quickly. The lemon butter garlic chicken was excellent. I love the baked potatoes here because they're always cooked perfectly with the salty crust on the outside. Everything was fine until they brought out a piece of raw chicken for a sandwich. On top of that my NY Strip steak was too luke warm (cooked good the first time) / cool to want to eat it. On top of that the wrong extra side dish was totally incorrect (onions instead of mushrooms) and the loaded potatoes (second and third) were still cold in the middle. It was sticky and just had food and dirty all over it. My youngest kids tenders and fries came out hot! I had the ribs and chicken combo with a back potato, which by the way came with someone's hair. My wife and I both ordered filets, one a 6 ounce medium and one a 9 ounce Medium rare. When they came to the table they both looked like 6 ounce filets, but both were well done. I absolutely hate to complain, but since both steaks were over cooked we let our waiter know. He said new steaks would be out shortly, but it was about 20 minutes when the manager came with the steaks. My wife's steak was cooked correctly, but when I cut into mine in front of the manager, it was not only tough to cut, but also well done again. The manager said nothing about the issues with my steak but said is this okay now? Because I hate to complain and since the manager saw how tough it was to cut through what should be a tender filet, I gave up after two bites. I don't know what it is about their steaks, but always cooked to perfection, amazing flavor, and always hits the spot. We ate there with some close friends, the seating hostess was excellent!, the food was average to good. We ordered a medium to well done steak which came as medium rare (a bit undercooked which was an easy fix) but the real disappointment was the hurried and less than friendly manner of our waitress and Manager when they addressed the undercooked steak and took our orders. Both seemed less than concerned with our experience. Additionally, this is the only Longhorn steakhouse I have ever visited that offers no senior or military discounts. 5 star service from Brett. He was kind, patient, and checked on us very often. He brought hot bread out as soon as he came to take our drink order. The decor was giving basic Texas country. The pita bread triangles were hot and chewy so it made for a nice bite but I was definitely expecting more spinach. The shrimp appetizer is very large and fed our table of 9 very well. The sides are done well. I had fresh steamed broccoli and a roasted sweet potato. My husband ordered crispy Brussels sprouts and the baked potatoes were fully loaded. My dad ordered the hot chocolate lava cake dessert. The cake was ok but the vanilla bean ice cream was so delicious.
