There were five of us that came at 3:40 for an early dinner before a Blues game. We got seated right away because they weren't that busy. We ordered our drinks, our waitress Anna, messed those up. She gave us drinks we didn't order and left our drink we did order. Not a great start but we looked past it. She kept coming to our table often enough in the beginning we let it slide. We order at 3:50, four orders of six to eight count boneless wings, all sauced, and one salad. We waited for the food. And waited. Another table was say next to us 20 minutes later. Our waitress didn't stop by our table to refill drinks. She would make eye contact and walk around the empty tables and seemed to be avoiding us. The other table waited about 10 minutes for their drinks. There were only four of them, same waitress. We finally got our food about 35 minutes later. We were served a plate of plain wings we didn't order and she took them back to the window, which may or may not have then been served to another table. I didn't it. We ate in about 15 minutes and had to get going for the Blues game. We couldn't flag down the waitress, nor any other waitress, because they were standing by the kitchen window talking to each other and the kitchen staff, who didn't seem to care about the food they were supposed to be cooking for the tables in the restaurant, and instead were joking around. Finally, one of us got up to ask the waitress for our ticket. She got it too us five minutes later, and then we left without a receipt. Briefly filled in the manager because we didn't have time to stick around and head on our way. We haven't had Hooters in a good while, but remember decent service and good food. The wings tasted great though the smallest wings I've ever had a restaurant especially at hooters. I will stick with my favorite bar in Collinsville going forward. The fries were cold and the waitress came to the table occasionally to check on us. I'm not one the skimp on a tip but instead of the usual 30% I left 12% for lunch. This place used to be good but my last 3 trips in there ended up being extremely poor. 1st time we sat down and no one bothered to talk to us for 30 minutes, so we left and the host said sorry he forgot to tell the waitress he sat us. 2nd time we ordered food and I asked for grilled chicken sandwich and ended up with a fried one after making sure she heard grilled. I had to go to work so no time to wait for it to get remade. It already took 1/2 hour with hardly anyone in there. 3rd and final visit to this Hooters resulted in 4 of us ordering, waiting an hour with still no food, manger said we were up next and that didn't happen. We left after 1 hour 15 minutes with no food. And quite a few people came in after us and had there meals and left already with us getting nothing but drinks. First time at a Hooter's. I have to say it wasn't half bad, and considering we only went there because it was the only thing open at the time I was impressed with the food. we placed a order that cost almost $200, and our order was incorrect. We were completely shorted an order of wings, and we received things we didn't order. Extra onion rings do not make up for a missing order of wings. The staff was rude and complaining about the size of our order. When we tried to reach out to the restaurant they did not answer the telephone. We will not be coming to this restaurant anymore. Terrible service. The bartender on duty a blonde, Desiree or Deavon, not sure because she never introduced herself. She was rude and unwilling to take care of guests. She easily brushed off her bar guests to get service from servers instead of herself, seemingly to make her job easier and to allow herself to get off earlier. Our waitress ignored us pretty much the entire time we were here but the wings were good.

I was traveling with two friends and two pets, and this place was absolutely great! We requested to sit outside so my friend could let her cats out of the car to stretch their legs, they served us quickly and made sure we didn't run out of drinks, it was a hot day. I wasn't a fan of my taco salad, which only came with four chips and six small pieces of chicken, but that's really the chain's fault, not the servers or owner's fault. I probably won't eat at a Hooters ever again because the food was disappointing, but all of the staff get an A+ in my book! read more

A group of friends went here to watch the football game and we have always had great food and service the the Hooters at Westport in St Louis MO so I assumed this being a chain restaurant we would get the same food and service BUT I was WRONG. We were seated at a table for 4 but we had 5 people. When we asked for a larger table we were told sorry we can't sit you at a 6 top unless there are 6 in your party. WHAT??? This should have been our warning to walk out. So we had 5 adults all getting apps and entrees jammed at a table for 4 and we can't have a 6 table. Ridiculous. The service was sooo slow and they weren't even crowded. And now for the food it was horrible. The wings were greasy and tasted weird, the burgers were burnt on the outside and raw inside and my crab legs were water logged. We tried to talk to the manager but he listened apologized and walked away. No way should we have paid for that nasty food. This restaurant should not be part of the chain. It is so below subpar they should retrain their whole staff of shut it down. We were so disgusted I'm not even sure we will go to any Hooters from now on. Horrible service. Took 10-15 minutes before being greeted to even request a table. The place wasn't even busy at all. After eventually being seated every table around us was acknowledged by a waitress, but it was like we were invisible. After twenty more minutes of being ignored that was enough. Stopped in for annual Christmas visit with brother. The place was not very busy. Place our order for 22 boneless wings and we wait... seemed like longer than usual. Wings arrive (delivered by different waitress). Wings were good for most part, but some were cold. Manager checked in later and we told him such. He offered to redo order. We declined, but just wanted him to know. Later waitress showed back up. We told her same thing about wings... she said she felt bad and we should have told her... my brother and I looked at each other thinking... well had you checked on us, we could have told you. Anyway, she offered to make it right so we ordered 10 more wings. She said these were on the house. Wings showed up and we're better. Waitress returned, clear s out plates and utensils away. I asked for Check so we could pay and leave... she disappeared for about 15 minutes and then showed back up with another 10 wings and said these seemed warmer... confusion set it. You can definitely tell this chicken is never frozen. I love wings, and these are some of the best just because they're so fresh. The sauces aren't my favorite, but they'll do. Service is always with a smile although they seem to get a little off track sometimes, especially at lunch. At dinner the waitresses "flirt" with my three young sons (all under 8) and make them laugh and feel welcomed send them home with helium-filled balloons. This place is always loud which is great if you have kids that are always loud, too, since they just end up blending into the noise. The bill always ends up being a little higher than I feel it could/should be, but I keep going back for more. read more

I hate to judge them based off the fact it was Mother's Day but screw they knew this day was coming. First off they staff was extremely undermanned. Girls running around like chickens with their head cuts off. Tables were empty and when asked why is there 50 waiting when tables are empty and their response was we don't wanna back up our kitchen. Again you knew this day was coming so why not over staff your kitchen. Finally after my "15" minute wait which was more like 60 minutes I got a seat. After I sat I watched 5 tables around me get sat. They all ordered their drinks and received them before I was even asked what I would like to drink. I finally ordered a tall beer which was the best part of the meal and ordered a tall one because who knows if they would ever come back. Then our food came. Everything looked good and just the amount of sauce I like on my wings. But to my surprise it was a cover for what lied underneath the sauce. It was overlooked to a crisp. Extremely crunchy. Overcooked and way to overbreaded. Like a chicken fried steak with a bone in it. Finally after 2 and a half hours in I decided let's just go. In my opinion it lacked good management. They walked around with the i dont care look on their face. But I don't blame the wait staff. They are just playing the hand they were dealt. The first time I went to Hooters was last Friday. I dropped my wife off at the mall and I did not feel like shopping that day. Beer was great, the wings was a little greasy and the taste well, it was okay. Next time I will ask for more paper napkins to go under the chicken to drain the grease. The Hooters Restaurant in Fairview Heights has set a new low, and after reaching rock bottom, has begun to dig. How hard is it to cook an unbreaded, well done chicken wing? Apparently for the kitchen staff at the Fairview Heights Hooters, it's an insurmountable task. For the third time in as many visits, they have failed to cook my requested dish of chicken wings the way I requested them to be cooked. One would think that Hooters could manage to cook an order of their SIGNATURE DISH properly, but that would not be the case. Each time I have visited Hooters, I have ordered the same thing--unbreaded well-done wings. Each time the same thing has happened--the first order of wings (after a 20 minute wait) comes out with breading, and then the second time (after sending the first order back because I ordered them naked since I don't like greasy fried breading) after I make the identical order, I receive unbreaded and UNDERCOOKED wings. Each time I waited FORTY MINUTES and left without getting anything to eat. I cannot put into words how incompetent the waitstaff or the kitchen or both has to be in order to screw up the IDENTICAL order TWICE IN A ROW on the same visit and have this happen on THREE SEPARATE VISITS IN A ROW. I have never seen such incompetence at any restaurant IN MY LIFE and for this to happen REPEATEDLY on THREE SEPARATE VISITS is simply beyond the pale. Chicken wings are Hooter's SIGNATURE DISH. If they can do nothing else, they SHOULD be able to manage to cook a batch of unbreaded well-done wings yet they have failed to do this SIX CONSECUTIVE TIMES. It's not a complicated thing and if they can't master something this simple, then they should really close the restaurant and try something they could succeed at doing--such as playing with their lower lips or walking and chewing gum at the same time. I will NEVER go back to Hooters again--I don't know if their wings are good or bad because I've never gotten to eat any of them. So, to the siliconed and nubile waitstaff I offer this advice: Write down the order and to the imbecile in the do-rag I advise him to READ the order. This could possibly result in my actually getting something to eat although I'm not holding my breath. read more

Don't bother. This restaurant has the WORST customer service ever!! We don't frequent Hooters, but our son has always wanted to try the wings so we decided to visit on a Friday afternoon. We were seated and then waited 10 minutes before a waitress even engaged us. It was happy hour and there was literally 10 tables of people and few more at the bar -- not crowded at all. There eight waitresses there that we could count. Four were waiting tables and four were folding tee shirts and goofing around with the male hostess that was seating people. We made eye contact with the male hostess several times and he just laughed and said there was nothing he could do. Finally, a waitress came over after 10 minutes and took our drink order (two beers and a soda), carded my wife and I, and then went to get the drinks...we thought. A few minutes later our actual waitress stopped by the table to introduce herself and take our drink order. We told her we already ordered drinks from a different waitress. She asked us what we ordered and then carded us again. We told her the other waitress already carded us and was getting us our drinks. We did show her our IDs again. Let me be clear, we have ZERO issues being carded. We do, however, have issues with waitresses not talking to each other and not being acknowledged for 10 minutes. With no crowd in the restaurant, eight waitresses on duty (four folding shirts), a male hostess that just laughs at us instead of offering to help. We left. I have NEVER had such crappy service. When I contacted the restaurant later, the manager made excuses about shift change. Not sure how that was an issue with 10 tables, a few people at the bar and eight waitresses on duty with four folding t-shirts. I could understand if the restaurant was busy, but it wasn't. There was ZERO excuse. And, even if it was busy, which it wasn't, it is the manager's responsibility to manage the team so the customers get taken care of. Finally, after putting in a comment card, and following up three times with Hooter's Customer Service, I have never received a phone call. Apparently, the customer service at the Fairview Heights store is a direct reflection of corporate attitude -- neither care about customers! read more

Sat next to the window that looks out to the parking lot and the whole hour+ I was there, the outside tables were never cleaned off. On business travel I ate there at least 10 times. TeriD's comments are accurate, however I find when I ask the wait staff to read my order back to me I get what I requested. I get the naked boneless and naked regular wings. These are both really good. They also serve Bud Select 55 beer here making this a pretty good low-carb place to eat.
