I'm a snobby foodie who hates chains & avoids fried food. However the hubster wanted wings, so we headed to Hooters despite my low expectations given their dismal Yelp rating. I was so surprised to get spectacular service. We were debating about beer so our server, Sam, brought us both a sample of the one we were considering in frosty mugs. It was good; so, we ordered the pitcher which she delivered with another set of fresh frosty mugs. Halfway thru the meal she noticed our glasses were getting low & said "don't refill those until I bring you some new chilled glasses". I love ice cold beer & Sam made sure we had it. Well done! We started with Buffalo Shrimp, which appeared in minutes perfectly cooked on a bed of chopped cabbage. That'll have to count as my vegetable today. Our main course was traditional wings with mild sauce & Naked wings with Parmesan Garlic sauce. Best wings we've had in years! Crispy outside but perfectly cooked inside. The only bad part of the meal was having to admit to my husband that he was right about trying this place. read more

Called in order for 50 wings. Received wings no sauce on them after ordering them hot. Went back in to tell them they took em to back,so I assumed they were sauced and shaken. Sit at the bar and look at the cleanliness of the kitchen/bar area. Then go to the bathroom. Not going back. I was searching for a wing place in the area. I guess BJ's still has the better ones. I do not know how hooters pass their health inspection. read more

Service was great! My food came out quick and was delicious! My low rating comes from the management staff, Paul to be specific (which I only know because they write it on the napkins). While I was eating he yelled across the bar at a waitress, it was unclear what it was about, but he seem agitated. Since she was I the middle of taking another customers order she did not immediately respond. While still taking their order he, the manager, yelled out again and demanded she put in another order for a different customer. This was very unprofessional on his part. I do not feel like the management staff should be yelling across the restaurant at their employees, especially while they are attending to customer! read more

Our visit today was made for a less than stellar. The establishment was not quite half full, but upon our arrival our party of three was immediately taken to and seated in the back area. This seemed a bit strange, since there was plenty of seating up front but we brushed this small detail aside. Throughout the duration of our stay (about 3-4 hours) we couldn't help but notice that the only patrons being seated in our section were people of color -- like us, and only white customers were being directed to the front area for seating. We made a comment about this amongst ourselves as it seemed to be a coincidence at first but the longer we stayed the more obvious the seating arrangements were. Looking around the restaurant you could see all white patrons seated up front, and only "black and brown" on the other side of "the wall". I have to say I am extremely disappointed with our experience and truly hope that this is not a reflection Hooters business practices as a whole. read more

The food at the Fredeicksburg Hooter's is usually pretty good. The down side to this place is the Bathroom's They are completly nasty all the time. The maneger really needs to step up the cleaning of the place. read more

Service is very good and loved the food but had to really say something about how dirty that place is. Bathrooms are like some nasty gas station bathrooms. I really did not think that a place that is chain can have dirty bathrooms. Smells like urine and paper towels and stuff all over. You can tell that the place does not get cleaned often. It was Sunday and maybe they only clean once a week and we got there end of the week. In the dinning room area you can see dirt all over. Not going to eat or suggest anybody to eat there. Took my son out for a guys night. It was his first time at hooters. We ordered a lots o tots which was good hot fresh and it had bacon. Then we had 20 boneless wings and an order fries. The wings were hardly Luke warm and the fries tasted stale and frozen. The food was gross the building doesn't have a defined front door that I seen. Crowded and three of the waitress's spent the entire time at one table while their customers went without drinks. The manager or owner never left the bar. I could see the wait staff throwing used napkins across the bar into the back. Our waitress was pleasant, didn't talk much and to me felt like she rushed us out the door. Overall left with a bad taste in my mouth not sure if it was from the frozen stale food or the overall lack of caring by the employees. read more

I don't know what these people are complaining about. Hooters has turned out to be one of the best sports bars to go to with great service. All the girls are sweet local girls who make you feel at home if you're someone passing though or a local resident. Multiple girls will come up to you and ask you how you are doing and chat with you. And they're not even serving you. It's a great bunch of girls here, Shauna is one of my favorites she has great energy and she is always in a good mood. Taylor us another great hooters girl. She always comes to work looking amazing and is so polite. Chelsea is awesome if you love a true southern girl with a great smile. Sierra is always on top of things and will always give u great service day in and day out. Hannah with a great big smile will keep you laughing and will make sure you have a great hooters experience. The bartenders Rachel, Rebecca and Ashley are the best bartenders in twin with a great listening ear for all you jokers out there that love chillin with gorgeous bartenders. Courtney cute as a button will make u laugh I don't care what kind of mood you're in. Krista will sing for you on the spot and it's like hearing an angel. Stopped here while getting gas on a trip and needed something to eat before getting back on the road, it was next door to the station and didn't want drive through food. Place was very quiet for happy hour time on a Friday but noticed the same when driving by one of their locations in Greenville, NC earlier in the trip. Bartender was pleasant when greeting me and was right there with my beer and a menu, didn't want too much so decided on an order of 6 wings with their signature sauce, grilled. When the wings came I was taking back by the size of them, small run at best I would say on a good day at a price of $10. I must admit what there was of them were tasty good thing I wasn't very hungry though. In this day and age I would expect a company that seems to be struggling to keep it's market share to step up on the food part as you can find their kind of ambiance in an abundance of places anymore. read more

The food is decent, and most of the women are pretty. But the problem is the chicken sandwiches. Sometimes the sauce, which is one of the main attractions there, doesn't absorb well into the chicken so you'll chomp into a really juicy flavored piece of chicken and then in the next bite you'll taste a really bland piece of chicken. Being a wing aficionado, I've eaten at Hooters countless times. My last couple of experiences have been extremely disappointing, as it seems the food quality & service has steadily declined. My wings were small and served in a pool of grease. My companion's iced tea was never refilled despite the number of drinks delivered to and around us. She ordered the buffalo platter from the appetizer menu, and again, the food was swimming in grease. Though the buffalo shrimp & chicken from the platter were nicely seasoned, the grease dripping from them was UNappetizing and in fact, caused us both to be ill the rest of the evening. Customarily, the manager stops by the table to "check in," but did not do so or I would have shown him the grease congealing in the bottom of the platter basket. Our receipt invited us to complete a survey and asked if we would like the management to contact us... I regularly provide positive and rarely negative feedback when given the opportunity, however, it's been 4 weeks and nothing. I might return if invited to a group function there, but wouldn't go back for the food... BWWs has better. read more
