I come to this location quite a bit. I'm a huge fan of the wings and the service is always really good! Food: wings are always fried to perfection! I have always gotten good food at this location. The wings are big and cooked perfectly. The tater tots here at this location are really good. Not sure if they get them longer but these are amazing! The chicken wings are large too! It small like their competitors! Service: is always good here. The girls that work here are friendly and make sure you food comes out quick. I know hooters doesn't get the best ratings but I haven't had an issue at any of their locations. Great food and great service! Tonight we walked into a nearly empty and completely filthy restaurant and waited at the host stand with about 8 other people for about 10 minutes with no acknowledgment from anyone. Finally a girl comes over and says "There's gonna be a wait." We asked how long and she said, and I quote "We have no idea." Then she walked off leaving us confused. A pair of girls walk out and tell us, "You're going to have to seat yourselves because no one is going to come and seat y'all. Then maybe someone will come to you." A few customers walked out then. We decided to try our luck and chose one of the few clean tables in the restaurant. The table next to us let us know they had been sitting there for 30 minutes and no one had taken their drink order. The manager walked by and didn't acknowledge any of us. A waitress walked by and did the same ignoring. Finally after about 10 minutes of being completely ignored and looking at other people not getting served, I walked out. During this time, I watched no less than 18(!!!) customers walk out of this establishment. Absolutely horrendous and a waste of a drive and time. read more

The worst wings I've ever had. EVER. I ordered 10 naked all flats with Daytona and 3 mile sauce. Extra wet. And an order of Big Dipper fries. I placed the order threw their own online ordering portal and I called them right after to a) make sure they got it and b) make sure the wings were in fact extra wet. Everything was cold. Like it was made before we even ordered it. The wings were dry. And the fries ... well let's just say it was less than half a potatoes worth of fries. This location goes from bad to good to better to never again!!!! We frequent various Hooters in the Houston area and this one is by far the worse one for customer care. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. The people are not. The hostess walks around with a sweatshirt half on her body. The waitress refused to come tell us they were out of something. We were seated right away which was nice. When the waitress came around we ordered our drinks, appetizers, and food. They took a long time to bring the appetizer. Brought all the food out together which would have been fine except they never brought out utensils. We asked three people for utensils and they would go on to other tables and never come back. So we started to eat with our fingers. The icing on the cake is they didn't even bring out the right flavor wings. Finally we just left. Service here is sad. I think we were the first customers in the door. Hostess was very nice. Our server was there right away taking out drink order and asking if we had any questions. My friend and I both got the Wingsday Special. Ten boneless wings with curly fries and a side of ranch dressing. The wings were great as were the fries. Our server was top notch and a manager stopped by our table twice to see how we were doing. My only compliant is that there is not an entrance from the 288 access road. You either have to turn into the Sams parking lot (1/4 mile before you get to the restaurant) or Turn into the hospital next door and drive across two parking lots. read more

Pearland's latest chain restaurant is definitely a great place to watch some sports and eat some tasty food. I waited a month after it's opening to check it out for myself. Pros: The food and atmosphere is awesome. I'm usually a Buffalo Wild Wings kind of guy, but I just realized how amazing Hooters breaded wings are. I went with the Habanero BBQ and Cajun and both of them really impressed me. The wings are huge and breaded perfectly. The fries are a perfect compliment to the wings. On a separate occasion I tried the buffalo shrimp and they were not so great. Tiny shrimp with excessive breaking and doused in sauce. Not horrible, but I won't order it again. There are TVs galore at this location. There is no seat that doesn't face a screen. Cons: On my first visit, I just wanted to drink some cold beer and hang out with my friends. My first 5 choices of beers on tap were all out. I like to try new beers but ended up getting something I've tried already. After ordering it took a good 10 minutes before the drinks even arrived. That's a long wait in my book. Hopefully they work out the new establishment kinks. I will definitely be back to check and see if they do! read more

I've been to this Hooters location two or three times over the years. In general, service at Hooters can be a hit or a miss. It really depends on the waitress. But, that's not really why you're going to Hooters. You're there for the scenic views (if you catch my drift) and the wings. I've always been a fan of Hooter's wings. I like how they have a good amount of wing flavors to choose from and the two different types of fries and the tater tots are solid too. Samurai (Asian sauce pretty similar to teriyaki) is my favorite. Their happy hour and reverse happy hour deals are worth checking out with some good discounts off of apps. The scenic views, like the service, can be a hit or a miss here too. I prefer the Kirby location in this area. Overall, it's a fun spot to watch sports as they have a bunch of TVs, munch down on some wings, and down some beers. read more

The quick and dirty: Stopped by here to watch game 5 of the World Series and while the service was ok and the atmosphere was decent, the food was absolutely digusting and it was topped off with a long piece of hair that was cooked into the batter of our wing order. The nitty gritty: We wanted to watch the game somewhere close by to Home and settled on Hooters. Yes, I understand Hooters is no fine dining establishment, but I didn't think there was so much difficulty in getting some wings battered, fried and sauced without issue. Our typical go to appetizer here is the fried pickle platter and we ordered two trays. Both came out hot and fresh but the batter was super salty. For the entree, we decided to try their new smoked wings and a plate of their original wings. The smoked wings came out without issue and were alright, we ordered the Daytona and Caribbean jerk recipes. The original wings is where things went downhill...and quickly. We had ordered these at the same time as the smoked wings and had asked for all flats. When they brought the smoked wings out, the waitress told us they had prepared the order as all drumsticks and they had to make a new order...but hey we were told they would "at least be fresh..." gotta wonder how long these other wings were sitting out or what the heck "fresh" meant... Anyway, about fifteen minutes later the original wings come out and they included a sad looking side of dipper fries or something because of the wait. The fries looked like a scrap heap of the leftover potato cuttings. We are about two wings into the plate when we notice a loose hair the length of a giraffes tale cooked into the batter on one of the wings...seriously, check out the pic. The hair was wrapped twice around the wing, so gross. Needless to say, short of vomiting, we had every other repulsive reaction. We pointed this out to the waitress who took it to the manager and presented it to him. I could see him shake his head in disappointment as the waitress told him about the two time failure of the kitchen staff. You would think the manager would come over and apologize at the least, but he sent the waitress back to our table about five minutes later with some kind of dessert shooters to try on the house. No way I was trying anything else... We finished our beers and left without catching the end of the game. This Hooters experience put the final nail in the coffin on visits to this chain in general. read more

We ordered fried pickles, instead we got burnt pickles. We ordered the usual Baja tacos and no sauce was provided at all. They had ran out of sauce. Oh and there was a shrimp tail which my husband bit into. I was beyond irritated because we had orders a buffalo chicken salad and the salad was moldy. It was overall a bad night.
