OK food, but this is Port Richey, so women are, well Pasco style. I'm sure they live in and around the trailer parks there. Please see update at the bottom. The location is the best I've ever seen at a Hooters, as it is right on the water, and open aired. The service was terrible. Our group sat outside and mostly ordered burgers and wings. One ordered Fish and Chips, my daughter got clam chowder, and a two of us had fries. I ordered snow crab, which I had to ask for twice, since the first order didn't get to the kitchen. I then had to ask for a shell cracker, which took over 10 minutes to get. We never got the ice bag for our pitcher of beer. Mother Nature didn't help either as it rained on us, just after my snow crab and the cracker arrived over 40 minutes after I ordered it. My daughter couldn't save her chowder and the wings and fries were sogged. When we got inside, a table was dripping from some sort of ceiling leak, a large table wasn't cleared, so our group couldn't sit together, or near each other, and we never got a discount or replacement for our ruined meals. If it hadn't been for the terrible service and the health hazard drip from the ceiling, I think all of us would have returned the next day for another gathering. Maybe next summer, or the next.... UPDATE: I originally gave our visit a one star due to the very poor service. I have recently learned our waitress is someone I had a private conflict with several months ago that was never resolved. I didn't recognize her, but she recognized me. I'm now aware the waitress was intentionally trying to ruin the gathering because she bragged about it. Management is aware of this, and I don't think the waitress works for Hooters anymore. Either way, I no longer feel my experience is an accurate representation of the restaurant. I love this Hooters! It's right on the water up here in New Port No-Where land as I call it... I grew up in Clearwater near the original, so I love having this location up here! There have a nice patio/dock on the water. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. They can get a little busy, but I've always been able to grab a seat at the bar in those times. Their bartenders can make any drink you ask for. If they've never made it befor, they are happy to look it up. I won't like my best friend and I had a throw back day and acted like we were in high school again. Our server laughed it off, played along with us, and got a nice tip. Came to watch some football tonight and this girl Makayla served us. She was super efficient and very friendly, everything you could ask for...only one exception! She has the weirdest walk I've ever seen. It was like she was holding a poop in. I sincerely hope they let her get enough time to use the facilities. But, it was hard to watch such a weird walk. We pointed it out to her and she said "Yeah, a girl used to bully me in school and she would punch me directly on the butt cheeks and now I can't walk straight". I felt awful for making fun of someone who has handicapped butt cheeks, I'm not a jerk. I apologized for being insensitive but at the end I felt maybe she had deserved what she got from the bully. I tried to get her to give me daps, since we are cool now, and she snailed me. I was hurt but I understood where the anger came from and I hope she finds someone to love. This was all in fun. Makayla is great and while she does have a weird walk, the rest was fabricated. She and this hooters location is excellent. read more

I am no longer a fan of wings or this chain. However, by boat on a casual day with friends if you are hungry ok. I would rather go to other places on intracoastal or Tierra Verde, but it was not my boat and I was not the skipper. People have fun here. Grilled fish is an option. read more

The food and service where great but the show wasn't. It was a Saturday night, the night of a fishing tournament. I was there with my husband and my kids. A guy sat at bar the and the bartenders called a girl over. She came over and was talking to the guy, then she left. She came back and started touching him in a way that's it's not appropriate for a family restaurant. She left again and came back, and the touching got a lot worse. She straddled the chair, and he proceeds to rub her leg as she is rubbing, his back and shoulders. He then turns around and was looking right at her that's when he ran his hand down her leg and grab her private area. She knew, what he was doing and didn't care. I know other people at the bar saw what was going on from the looks on their faces. I left corporate a couple of emails but never get back to me. The girl's name is Brooke and the POS guy is Andrew. Ordered take out. The buffalo shrimp were really good. The wings, not so much--too greasy! I remember a time when Hooters chicken wings used to be lip smacking good, but they have lost there pizazz for some reason. They ooze with oil, and the flavor is bland. Maybe it is time to tweak the recipe. Otherwise, if you are dining in, this Hooters location is actually quite a fun location. It is located on the Cotee River. I've been visiting this area for almost ten years and never knew this place was here. They need a sign out on 19. Because had I known I would have been here more. The location is beautiful, right on the water. The whole restaurant is bright and open. We opted to sit outside and the outdoor park area is huge. We were seated quickly and our server was efficient and friendly. We had onion rings, a little greasy, we also had the cheesesteak sandwich, very good. I would def order that again. This time we just stopped for a quick lunch but I could see enjoying drinks on the patio another time. I've been to a few hooters and this one has been the nicest. read more

Something smells fishy here. I hope it's the fact that this place has a beautiful view on the water and not the... ANYWAY... Food here is great, it's hooters, it's all the same as long as the trained monkey in the kitchen can toss wings. Took longer than average to get seated considering they weren't busy, but hey, ya get a good meal for the money. Try the chipotle BBQ sauce. Has a decent bite and good flavor. Love the location, love the fact it's on the water, and love the food (for the most part). Just wish they had better service! Seems like they hire "green" waitresses with little to no experience. Some can be really sweet, some seem lost like a deer in the head lights. Came in last week for a relaxing view and some oysters. 3 out of 5 were looking forward to the bucket. Welp, oysters came. No pre set up. Turns out they can only find one shucker for the three of us. Frantically looking for more shuckers while we stare at the bucket on the table, they decided to have a manager shuck them in front of us. Completely awkward and uncomfortable that we are now having lunch with the manager in complete silence. You can tell our server was all over the restaurant taking tables here and there, so therefore may service a little slow... But you could see she was trying. This experience was just uncomfortable and irritating that we had a manager standing over our table the whole time. Yesterday we dined again... Food took an extremely long time with the only excuse that the kitchen is backed up. We asked for our food to be boxed up, because we had to go. However, we still had to wait for that. When the food finally came in boxes, we immediately handed her our money for the tab. She new we were not happy, but decided to make her rounds at her other tables chatting away while we stood up at our table waiting for her to bring change. We had children with us that we're starving and impatient. Refills took a while and she kept her distance from the table. The only thing great from this is our appetizer came out immediately after we ordered it. I love this place, I just have to prepare my self to expect the worse and plan my time accordingly. The food is never a disappointment, I just think the management needs to get a tighter grip on staff and inventory of their items. If you sell buckets of oysters you should have enough shuckers to accommodate your product, and the service... Well, quality is important when expecting to provide a certain standard of service. read more

These beautiful ladies know the meaning of service and dedication. We visit frequently and we NEVER have to order a drink. They know exactly what we want and it's there within minutes of us getting seated at the bar. I had the pleasure of having lunch with my oldest Son yesterday. We decided on this Hooter's for our lunch. I had the grouper sandwich and unsweetened tea. I have never had a grouper sandwich that was this large, and tasted so good. The service was spot on from being seated to ordering, and receiving our meal. The waitress was superb, bringing us refills without asking and was so friendly and polite. Keep doing what you are doing, it may rub off on your competitors! read more

Just stopped in for drinks in the afternoon. Had a mango marg which was just ok. The top shelf was said to be average to like a well marg. White wine was served in a dirty spotted glass. When asked for a clean glass the server returned with a glass to transfer the wine into but it wasn't very clean and the server said she cleaned it. read more

Outstanding establishment on the water. There are several seating choices. You can sit in the air condition or outside under roof. Boat docks are easily accessable and there is usually a spot. The wait staff at this Hooters is normally friendly and the service is fairly quick. I think this is by far the best hooters in the area. read more

My husband's very first Hooters experience at the age of 53!! We sat at the bar, with his 74 year old aunt (who, like me, finds Hooters to be a fun place to eat). We each had a beer - in my husband's case a local craft beer, which was a pleasant surprise. We had a great view of boats coming in and out of the marina. Lots of families eating there. Typical Hooters food - wings, boneless wings, a salad. Food arrives in good time, was fresh, and service was good. If a restaurant learns anything from this poor rating, it should be that the customer should be over-compensated when there is a major problem. I believe all would agree that a hair in your child's meal (burger) is one of the worst offenses. Taking that meal off the bill means absolutely NOTHING. The meal wasn't eaten...how could you charge for it? Even though we were truly sick to our stomachs when this happened tonight, we were still given a check & a child's dessert (really?) as a peace offering. Unacceptable, Hooters Manager. A few days ago I had a delivery service deliver 3 orders of clam chowder, lived in Clearwater and it was my weekly treat, thick rich potato soup with a little heat from the pepper and those great clams, again I say thick and rich. What I recieved was watery thin soup with hard potatoes that was extremely fishy tasting and so salty I had 3 spoonfuls and proceeded to throw the balance of the order down the disposal, it's to bad there cook doesn't follow the corporate recipe or even taste what they are serving, was going to call the manager, should have but always leery of replacement items after complaining. read more
