We were very pleased with the service and food. We did a late lunch on Friday, just before Memorial Day weekend. Had to wait about 30 minutes, so we had a couple of beers. This location has gone down hill. It's been about a year since we last visited, so I'm not quite sure when it happened exactly. But our visit today was awful and we will not be returning. First, our waitress, Cara maybe, was not very friendly at all. Next, our drinks were extremely watered down. I had the mango mojito, not recommended. Hubby had the spicy mango mule which was a little better. I used to love their drinks, but after that first one, I switched to water immediately. My daughter also got milk, which was only half filled. The buffalo shrimp were the only saving grace. Our boneless wings were completely wrong. I ordered 10 hot BBQ and 10 Thai chili, and hubby ordered 20 in a mix of hot BBQ, Thai chili, and teriyaki. Instead they brought 6 hot BBQ, 6 Thai chili, and 26 teriyaki. We told them and they brought us some extra hot BBQ and Thai chili, AND took away some teriyaki. My daughter's curly fries were also not fresh, some were mushy and some were stale. This was so frustrating and I highly recommend the kitchen, management, and waitresses get better training ASAP if they hope to save this location. read more

We all replied and at the end of our meals, the waitress brought us our bills and we all had a 99 cent charge for the dressing. We asked the waitress what was the 99 cent charge for? She replied for the dressing. I never heard of such a thing charging you 99 cents after she offered it to you, and never mentioned it was extra. This is my wife's favorite spot. We go here very frequently, whether for a dinner date, or just boneless wings on wing Wednesday, this location always provides quality and consistency. The location of this Hooters is absolutely perfect. It's right off of US19 and right on the water. My wife and I love the ambiance when we sit outside. For a Hooters, the restaurant doesn't get very loud, and the service is always kind and very professional. We've never had any issues with our food, and the wings are always awesome. The only reason I didn't give this location five stars is because parking can get pretty hectic on the weekends, and they charge $1 for a cup of ranch (they are pretty big cups at least). read more

I know that the goal of Hooter's service people is to provide a fun, friendly environment for it's guests, and she does that better than anyone, anywhere!! She served my best friend and I (a couple of OLD men!) on Tues afternoon 6/13/23. We used to work in the service industry - for about a million years between us - and have visited countless restaurants and bars together, and we've never encountered a server who is her equal! Her bright, beautiful, and friendly smile never left her face. She was charming and funny - knew the menu perfectly, and was quite helpful with suggestions. Have been to this location before, and have always had great service. The kitchen staff really knows their stuff, and the bartenders do an equally great job....you can tell that this is a well-run unit with managers that enforce high standards and do an outstanding job with hiring and training. Related to that last part, even though we were lucky enough to have Athena as our server, the other two ladies that we observed in our section were outstanding as well. This was the worst worst dining experience I've ever had in my life! We got here around 7:45 to put our name on the way we waited five minutes, which was good and we were quoted 20 minutes. We got seated. Our young server was very nice. We ordered we waited an hour and 10 minutes for food and then when we asked our server where the food was, she told us that the cook said that we could wait. One of my friends had a seafood allergy and got a grilled chicken sandwich and they gave her a grilled grouper sandwich. And she ate two bites. And then the manager had audacity to ask if she wanted a water! I'm a GM of a restaurant and this is totally unacceptable! I hope that corporate or a manager sees this review and talks with your servers and cooks. If you guys are in a populated area, have some respect! Many negative reviews, but the two burgers we had were just fine. Cooked correctly and seasoned well, they were great tasting burgers, with curly fries and tater tots. The menu advertises a burger Monday special, and that's what we tried. I'm not sure what the special was, exactly, since the prices were the same as normal. I can manage that. I also ordered a side salad plain and a side of guacamole. I brought my own vegan dressing and some grilled tempeh from home. Turned out pretty yummy. I completely understand this happens every now and then but countless times we have waited for an hour, all the while seeing empty tables sit vacant the entire time. -- it is clear that Management doesn't know or have good processes or people in place to run things efficiently. -- the food is typically very good. You can either park and walk in or drive your boat dockside and enjoy this Hooters. It's definitely one of the better scenic locations of the chain. As for the food, it's Hooters. LOVE this location. My boyfriend and I have a tradition of going here every Friday for lunch and sitting at the bar. The bartender is very sweet and remembers our order. The girls are all very nice and welcoming. The boneless wings are fantastic and so are the tater tots (get them well done, they are 10x better). They have great ranch and teriyaki sauce.
