Wow, this was awful. I love Hooters, but haven't been in about 3 years as it's so unhealthy. But, I decided to finally indulge. What a disappointment after such a long wait. I have been to Hooters a number of times and at a number of locations. The food has always been very consistent, until now. We ordered takeout, 10 mild breaded wings, 15 hot boneless wings, and curly fries. The 10 breaded wings were dry and tasted nothing at all like what I'm used to. Honestly, they had basically no taste at all. They almost had a strangely sweet taste to them if anything, and were no better than a $3 meal from KFC. The 15 boneless wings were dry tiny chunks, not wings. And the fries, rubbery and tasteless without the typical light seasoning. We also were not given the list of additional items that they literally give you a checklist for, ketchup, napkins, utensils, and asking if we need additional condiments. Their "checklist" system was completely blank and just thrown in the bag. Great representation of how little they care. Our order ended up $29, I wish I could get it all back. How ridiculous for dry, tasteless, food and completely careless service. I will never waste my time, money, or waistline on this garbage again. read more

Our experience was not great. We came during a UFC fight, so they were busy, but tables that sat down 30 minutes after us got food/drinks before we did. Many drinks we ordered were forgotten and our waters never got refilled. Our server (who never told us her name) would forget to ring things in, and when we checked on them laugh and say the kitchen was a mess. Our food was good, but our beers were only 3/4 full because the foam had all gone away by the time our server ran them to the table. She never cleared our empty plates or cups. Our table spent over $200 and we're treated like we were horrible customers. Possibly the worst service I've ever had. Ariel, a server in another section, seemed to be doing a great job however! she sat and greeted us, and even got us drinks when our server failed to. Wouldn't go back unless I had Ariel as a server!! I don't think I will ever visit this location again. We visited this location on 11/25 at 4:39 pm. Our server was Elise. She was not rude per say but she was not friendly. The first thing I did was use the ladies room as we were traveling from out of town. The restrooms were disgusting. I was nervous to even sit on the toilet even with paper lining it. I mean come on Hooters, go to Menard's and but new toilet seats. Trust me the impression that people get just from your restrooms is not a good one. When it came time to order we could not order what we wanted because they were out of salads, and this and that. On top of that they were not willing to substitute other items. Im very displeased with the bigger black hair female manager that works at this location. I received a to go order where the box wasn't closed correctly causing me to drop the fries when I pulled it out of the bag. Without casting blame I called back and asked respectfully for a remake of fries. I was told its no problem come back and you will get them. So I drive back to the hooters only to find out the manager had no intention of a make-right. Instead she wanted me to pay half priced even though the box wasn't closed the right way and the fries were pale and cold. I am thoroughly upset because I paid $20 for a buff chicken sandwich and fries I can no longer eat, not that I would've wanted to anyways with how cold they are. I honestly feel like I deserve some sort of compensation because of the fact it wasn't my fault and I was told to drive all the way back to the store only to have the circumstances change. But if the rest of the corporation is anything like this manager then I only expect slight attitude and hollow promises. I am upset so I decided to voice it in my review. I would like to be able to speak more on this situation with someone above her, I would really appreciate it. To the to-go girl who understand customer courtesy and treated me with respect, keep doing your thing. To the manager who wasted my time, money and ruined my mood and outlook on hooters, I hope that happens to you next time you have a long day and try to get dinner. read more

Just curious have you been to Hooters at 11835 Lackland Rd lately? If you haven't I wouldn't bother. You are greeted by extremely bright spotlights the minute you walk in... I mean blindingly bright! Being a little older we asked to sit in a booth because generally they are much more comfortable for us... Not here! My wife and I aren't obese by any means but we do have a few extra pounds. In order for her to be even a little bit comfortable I had to move the table to a point that I had less than a foot between the back of the booth and the table edge! Not to mention how difficult it was to slide in and out. Now let's move on to the food. We ordered the 15 piece breaded wings with their Honey Chipolata sauce and tator tots. The sauce was good. The wings were so over done even the bones were dry (I wish I could have added a picture of them) and the tator tots had so much seasoning on them they were inedible. We mentioned it to the waitress and she had them put in a new order for us... The manager who by the way was the only positive part of our experience came over and sincerely apologized. We talked about how bright the lights were and how skinny the seating in the booths are. She explained that is corporate policy to have 4 booths in every location so they SQUEEZED 4 in! The re-fire was still a bit overcooked but at least edible and the tator tots were not over seasoned. The final straw was when we received the check and we were charged for TWO of everything! The manager did make it right and we ended up only paying for our drinks (weren't looking for anything free)... Why would the waitress have even brought out the ticket with two orders on it in the first place???? Anyway we will never be back and I hope this review helps other from having a similar experience. read more

OMG...I'm in town for a wedding and staying next door to this place...so of course, (being from CA), I expected something good.....WRONG!!!! I had the chicken strips....DRY! My friends had a burger...BLAH (Mickey D's makes a better burger)...and the "grilled" chicken was dripping in grease...then there were the curly fries...can you say YESTERDAYS.....so so sad. I only gave a star because the girl taking the order over the phone was nice and actually got the order right. Nikki the bartender was great and got them the second star but they just took forever and screwed up my order. They were nice about it and knocked a few bucks off my check but to have to spend an hour and a half to get 20 wings is ridiculous. Hooters is really going downhill these days. This is the BEST Hooters in the St. Louis area and it's only a 2 star Hooters. Get this--they Charge $2 extra for the Daytona wings they say because they have to grill them. I didn't want them grilled and like minimal sauce so I asked for plain unsauced wings with a little cup of the Daytona sauce on the side--which only General Tao and hot buffalo mixed in a 1:1 ratio and it was a 2 0z cup (for 20 wings) and they charged me $2 for it, but then when I asked for a little more, they banged me for another $2 so I think I'll get my wings somewhere else in the future. I don't mind paying a reasonable price but they have priced themselves out of my wing dollar and added insult to injury with the sauce price gouging. Here's a hint: Don't pay the extra charge for Daytona sauce--mix the General Tau sauce with their hot buffalo sauce and skip the surcharge--get them on the side, mix and dip! read more

This is my first time coming out to hooters. Our appetizer we ordered with our beers came out very quickly and was delicious. We are currently sitting here and trying to finish our beers as quickly as possible because our waitress Jessi had the absolute worst attitude. She was short with everyone and rushed to order.
