Regarding everyone throwing out "overprice" In comparison Wingstop charge $9.99 for 10 wings. Buffalo Wild Wings charge $13.50 They charge $9.99! Still not satisfied? McDonald's mighty wings use to cost 10 for $9.69. I just dislike you can choose 2 flavors for 10 wings but only 2 flavors for 20 wings. (Wingstop allows 3 flavors when you hit 20) In the end of the day, it's a business so expect to be up charged for adding fries and drink for $4 and adding blue cheese/ranch sauce $1 each As far as location, not the "best" but at the same time I don't think you have to clutch your pearls. Right next to AMC Cicero 14. (which also isn't the "best") I wouldn't drive pass a hooter just to come to hoots, but I do drive pass hooters with a negative image of their business model. I have to admit that I thought it was a cheap imitation of Hooters, until I tasted the exact recipe. Asking more questions I found out that it's the offspring satellite of Hooters and that although the concept is the same, the difference you will see is that there are no Hooters girls per say. Which is okay for me, as I am here for the beer and chicken wings. I was quite surprised that it was empty and I love the fact that the girls and guys are very accommodating and quite polite when you ask them for extras. I did like the fact that the recipe is exactly the same, so no hybrid taste there, nor experimenting with the original. The colors in the joint are exact but something is definitely different coming here, and that's not a bad thing. I rather enjoy a little bit of mystery. And please be mindful that you should pick up after yourself once you are done, of course they will do it for you but tip that way at least they know they are being appreciated. Not going to lie, we were pretty disappointed in trying this place for the first time. We ordered the 20 piece boneless wings for $17.99, and added the make a meal for $3.29. The fries were good, ranch was good. We chose the bbq flavor and also medium for the wings. They put a lot of bbq, which was good, but the medium wings hardly had any sauce. Also, the wings on top were bigger but on the bottom of the plate had very small wings. They were also cooked a little too long, which made some hard to chew. I came to have a quick bite and play the slots. 1st my food I ordered came out wrong! When I got the correct food my fries was cold, my shrimps was falling apart, my fries again was cold with a lot of salt/seasoning on them where my blood pressure can rise. Y'all Hoots is like if Hooters and Wingstop had a love child. It's adorable and I love it. So what's the difference between Hoots and Hooters? Well, for one, the menu is downsized. No more burgers, grilled cheese, and you only have the garden salad with the option of ranch or blue cheese. But they do give you the option to make your wings, buffalo chicken sandwich, ect. a meal for $2.99 more - sweet! They also brought back the 5 wing option. Honey thai sauce made the cut on sauces you can choose from, which I was thrilled about because I'll gladly use that on my salad in place of ranch (don't knock it until you try it!). The bar is downsized as well, you're give the option between 3 draft beers, a few bottles, a margarita, and red sangria. Another notable change is the uniform - the white tank and orange shorts are replaced by khakis and orange tees. So, overall, the ambiance is fast-casual. The wings were really good, I called our order in for the Superbowl, but they were ready in like 10 minutes. Only one complaint, they do not give you enough celery or carrots sticks. This last time I went it was rather busy like most seats were filled with parties of 3-5 and many people were doing take out. I usually get the 10 mild or hot wings with fries and drink. I placed order and paid online. They could not find my order by name because for some reason, even though I had placed it under my first/last name, they had me as (first name) chow. I had to eventually tell them what I ordered. Then they tried to charge me at the register despite it being an online order which means you pay in advance. The only thing that could be better were the fries, I mean we come for the curly fries and they were super soggy. Fried pickles were ok, sauce had a really bad tangy flavor to it.
