I have been ordering take out from Hoots on Cermak & Cicero ever since they opened their doors without any issues until the pandemic started and I started ordering delivery. Just about every time I place an order it is delivered with something missing. Once there was a missing dessert, other times including tonight they didn't send the drink that I paid for, and my wings were not delivered as I ordered them. What really has me pissed off tonight is when I called and asked to speak to a manager, I was told to hold on, I have now been on hold for 25minutes and no one has come back to the phone but I can hear activity and talking in the background. It is so disappointing because I normally I don't order delivery but all throughout the pandemic we have been asked to support the restaurants by ordering takeout & delivery. Finally, someone comes to the phone after 29 minutes and offers me credit for 10 wings and a drink. I accepted it and explained to her that a credit does not fix the reoccurring issue, they need to do better and make sure that they send out what a person pays for. Honestly. Their only getting 1 star cause I can't put half. Truly ridiculous I waited 1.5/2 hours for my meal. To receive NOTHING from my meal. Received a 10 piece wing when I had ordered much more. TO TOP IT OFF not even the flavor I wanted. I don't know what happened to this place. It used to be on 10. And now my orders get done wrong or not done at all when I go or order. AND once you ask to speak to the manager on the phone they won't pass you over. They'll said there is no manager. Went to satisfy a huge wing craving. First time here and I thought it was great. A little pricey but super good wings. Service was great and it was Super Bowl Sunday. I had a $1.99 7oz bottle of Budweiser while I waited for my wings. This is a super cute small version of Hooters. The wings are the same level of deliciousness. The young women get to keep their dignity and aren't revealing any skin, all employees wear t-shirts and khakis. I will be back ne,t time in jonesing for some wings. read more

I really enjoyed Hoots! I've always been a huge fan of Hooters and this is a really great alternative way to enjoy Hooters awesome buttery wings in a quicker, fast food type setting. The wings tasted basically identical to the Original Hooters so that was also a very nice perk. I would definitely recommend this option if you want to the same Hooters without the extra stuff. My only mild complaint was with the wait time for your food. I can tell they're still working on the kinks and increasing the service speed but that was my only complaint. The only reason I gave them one star is because the food although not amazing it wasnt horrible. However this was my first and definitely the last time my family or myself will step foot in there. The customer service is horrible. My husband and our two sons came in for a late lunch. One of my sons is a newborn so we brought our stroller with because there is not really anywhere to put his carrier. While my husband ordered food I went to sit by a low top table that was practically in the corner BUT was in their full service section. Mind you we would have gladly sat in the full service section but the employees there looked bothered to have to move to take an order. Being as we were one of maybe 5 people in the entire place we didnt think it would be an issue....Wow was I wrong! An employee by the name of Cherryl literally gave my husband a death stare, rolled her eyes and answered something along the lines of fine when he explained that we only sat in this area to keep the stroller out of the way in case they got busy. We literally felt so uncomfortable that we moved and sat elsewhere to keep from her nasty stares. We also saw a women who we believe was the manager picking up and throwing garbage and no one offered to help her they just stared at her and kept talking in the corner. The staff could also use a cleaning workshop. In the area we were sitting you could literally see food on the walls that wasnt wiped off. Had a taste for hooters, as I was typing Hoot.. in the search box this HOOTS came up.. Read a few reviews and the nature of the business. Its literally a casual hooters with an in and out feel, and not as many menu selections. I called my order in 7minutes before I arrived to pick up my order and was told it would only take 5 to 10 minutes to be ready. My food was cold and my ranch was hot (backwards right). once heated up, it tasted just like Hooters. The staff is a bit unprofessional, but for the area I wasn't expecting amazing service.. They're not that clean, because there was sauce and food all over my container; but I'll give them another shot one day to see if my experience is better. read more

Made an online order during evening hours, got an email with pick up time. When I arrived the staff for the most part was surprisingly young. I was told by one of the young staff my order was not even dropped in the fryer yet, it would take 10 additional minutes. I was looking forward to trying this new sister company of Hooters. I love hooters so much. Literally my favorite place to get wings. Order all the time if it isn't through pickup, then it's through Uber Eats. We always tips cashiers as well or Uber drivers. Today my boyfriend and I placed an order at 6:07 and probably picked up around 6:30 and by the time we got home which was around 7 we realize that they give us the wrong flavor. I'm already mad because it's the only flavor I like and they took the order right and everything. It's says on the receipt, hot wings, hot buffalo shrimp, celery/carrot sticks, etc., and HOT BBQ wings, of course for the hot bbq wings they give us hot. My boyfriend calls to let them know that they messed up the 5 wings that satisfy me. "Crystal" seemed reasonable and spoke professionally but this happens all the time! There's always something wrong in the order. No ranch, or no celery sticks weren't given but never something for it to be such a big deal. I have no clue if they have airheads working or what not. When I go inside everyone's always laughing and stuff. I also understand that work shouldn't be a dull place either but maybe all the slacking off is the reason why there's always something wrong with the order. Instead of my boyfriend accepting the credit he's just going to take the 20 minute drive there and back just to get those wings they messed up because we don't even live in Cicero which was told to "Crystal". "Crystal" should be paying the gas or making sure her workers are doing there job right. I Understand there's mistakes here and there because I work in a restaurant environment but man oh man. I'm definitely new to Yelp, but I need to make a review on Hoots! I absolutely love this place. It's a wing stop and hooters combined! I eat here frequently, especially after work. Everyone is really friendly. I do love one employee specifically, her name is Ale. She's always smiling and you get a loud hello when you walk into the restaurant, which is very welcoming, she's very patient with the customers, she's great at making conversation and always offers samples if you're stuck on what to get. It was just OK (food wise), my tots were luke warm; took forever to get the food with only like 5 people in the restaurant; when I got to the register, cashier asked if she could help me then turned right back around to talk to the other employees about personal business then turned back around to take my order again when she was done(would expect the customer to be the priority when asked the first time); one other girl working the bar talked to the one guest the entire time he was sitting there; finally the place is overpriced in my opinion. I was looking forward to going here since I'm a Cicero resident and like shopping/eating locally to support the community but I will not be coming back.
