I would advise you NOT TO USE Hop2it. I had a GFCI issue that shut off my refrigerator. I called Hop2it for their expertise. Instead of working my problem, they focused on upsell opportunities unrelated to my problem. 90% of their time was spent looking for and quoting upsell opportunities presented in multiple proposals that I never asked for, and never wanted. Worst of all. They didn't fix the problem. The electrician replaced a GFCI but the very next day, the new GFCI stopped working and I was back to where I started. Despite informing them of this, they have been non-responsive as of this posting. In the end, my problem had nothing to do with the GFCI itself. It didn't need to be replaced. The problem was an 88 cent electrical outlet. If the electrician spent as much time diagnosing this 3 outlet circuit as he did generating unwanted proposals, this review would be much different. read more

I've used hop2it 3 times. Never happy with the price but they did fix the problem. This 3rd time, I have a mailbox with a single 60w bulb in it. The entire street has them and the HOA will notify you if they are out. So a few days earlier I'd gotten a text from hop2it for $50 off any service so I called. I honestly figured $50 would cover 1 light fixture being fixed or at the most $100. Well, the tech showed up and I told him my issue and told him to take a look and let me know. Without looking or coming close to the mailbox he somehow generated a cost to repair it for over $500. This is a 1 light bulb figure that was getting power but just too dim and had some corrosion on the connectors not a breaker box or some big job. I was not overly surprised by that number only because of my two prior hop2 experiences so I knew it would be too high. So, I told him I wasn't interested and told him no thanks. He said he'd still have to charge me a service fee.. A fee to listen to my issue I guess but never look at it and we are located in the same city, not some long drive. I told him I have a $50 off deal so again no thanks. He, of course, then dropped the cost about $340 but now somehow I can't use my $50 off any service repair..? This tech unfortunately has made his company look bad but it's hop2its overpricing game that he was playing so they are both too blame. If he at least looked at it, it wouldn't have surprised me as much. How can you tell me what it will take to fix something you haven't seen let alone create a $500 plus dollar bill? I had an issue with our electrical set up ever since we moved in. We found poorly made outlets and oddly connect plugs and switches. It all came to head when all 4 of our cameras went out. I called 24-7 to have them look at it. I apologize by I forgot the names of the two gentlemen that came out. But they saw that the previous owner created a single outlet to control the attic lights, cameras and front of the house lights. 24-7 staff fixed that and created new outlets for each of those areas, they even gave us a reasonable quote for some recessed lighting. Cody Jones is a literal miracle. I hired 24/7 Electric because my normal electrician was in the hospital. I just had a new hot water heater installed and it suddenly stopped working after a few days. The thermostat was replaced and then the breaker starts tripping. Long story short I was frustrated and without hot water for a week. Cody replaced the breaker and tightened some connections and the breaker was still tripping. The whole time the plumber kept saying it was electrical but wouldn't come out and take a look. The plumber finally came out and I got Cody on the phone with him and Cody pointed out some rusting at the top of the unit where the connections were. That finally made the plumber realize it was a faulty heater and not electrical. Cody was professional, helpful and a total sweetheart. If he is single - y'all should date him. read more

STAY AWAY, DO NOT USE! Mostly unpleasant experience all around. The person who made the appointment over the phone insisted on a 6 hour arrival window. 2-3 hours seems fair; 6 hours just destroys the whole day. The Service representative arrived 5 hours into that 11-5 window at 4pm. I had two fluorescent fixtures and 1 wall outlet to be replaced. Simple, easy job. I hired them because they said they didn't work by the hour. BIG MISTAKE! The estimator was not an free estimator at all, as I was told. He was actually the electrician but didn't bother to say that till after he gave me the price. Though he was skilled and knowledgeable, he was clearly out to get me for as much money as possible. I said I had the replacement fixtures, he just need to do what was, on the outside, 1 hours work. The initial quote was OVER $650!!! When I said "NO!" he then said he'd leave after getting the $69 estimate charges, A DIRECT CONTRADICTION TO THE FREE ESTIMATE I was told over the phone. I haggled him down to $370 but I was still ripped off. Pure thievery advantaging a consumer in need. This was a $200 job at best. NEVER USE HOP2IT. They outright lie BEFORE they attempt to wildly overcharge you. Yes, they did the job, but I could have flown round trip to Hawaii for $650. Folks like these give all repair people a bad name. I noticed my outdoor GFCI outlet wasn't working a couple days ago and decided to put in a Project Request via Yelp in late evening. I received a morning call the next day from Sally whom was super friendly and easy to talk with. She was very accommodating and set me up with an appointment for Saturday. Casey the technician showed up timely this (Sat) morning and was not only professional, knowledgeable but also just an all around good guy trying to help out. I just moved to Weatherford into an older home who's previous contractor hired a inept electrician who pretty much wired the whole home on one junction box to a single circuit breaker. 24-7 came out and pretty much rewired the whole house, they helped install new sockets where we needed them and even did a few extra little things. The entire team that I spoke with or had out at the house was great. I had been receiving quotes for a bathroom remodel project throughout the week, but these guys ended that process. They came out on time, provided a quote within 10 minutes, and were generally just well mannered and polite guys. So glad I found 24-7 Electrical Services! They're now my go-to electrical guys. Recently had a new sump pump installed at my office. The alarm kept going off and my plumber insisted it was an electrical issue. I suspected it was a plumbing issue but oh well. 27-7 Electrical Services were quick to respond, quick to come out, and quick to find it was (surprise, surprise) a plumbing issue. They identified that it was 100% a plumbing issue, finding one of the pumps were not working. So now it's back to the plumbers who will now need to replace the pump. read more

Overall, I am absolutely stunned by the amount of detail in their work, the quality of the technician's customer service, and (lastly but also most importantly in these times) the amount of care they take in your house. After moving to Texas for a few years, I was uncertain what to expect for this particular work I had: to take replace a painfully elaborate and intricate chandelier with the exact same one because the original was defective. Just going off the surface, the cost was about 40% higher when comparing against the lowest quote. However, it's very much worth every penny. The first thing is a consultation. I have a newborn at home and, as such, am super worried about the Delta COVID variant. In addition to being polite and professional, Cameron the electrician grabbed his mask and made sure it was on the entire time consulting. He gave me the options (I had additional questions about other electrical work I needed) and the time frame. I agreed and Cameron came back two days later with his associate, Jeremy, to perform the work on a 22-foot ceiling in a narrow foyer. Both Cameron and Jeremy were thoughtful to keep their masks on for my family's sake. They answered all my questions about the project and some extra curiosities about electrical work. Jeremy explained the chandelier's safety feature when I explained my wife was worried about the lines giving out (see picture). Needless to say, the small talk was insightful and very pleasant. They took great care to move aside furniture and items that were in the way, and to not damage the walls. Taking the original fixture down and installing the baseplate for the new one was not long. It was quick, decisive, and coordinated. The longest part was getting the fixture strings to a certain height that lets the chandelier look a certain way (see the picture). It may look simple, but the shape is hard to fixate straight. Nonetheless, Cameron and Jeremy took their time to move each string carefully- with Cameron 22 feet up and Jeremy directing/moving the bottom to get the strings to align. I could not stress how they did not rush the process and always checked to make sure that me, my wife, and my mother-in-law were fully satisfied. Some of the little things I noticed and greatly appreciated: they cleaned up the plastic trash from the new chandelier, moved back the furniture, and patted off their boot covers between coming in and out of the house to not bring in dirt. The last point is honestly the biggest difference that stood out. I rarely, if ever, see contractors have that attention to detail on cleanliness. Truly amazing experience and would give more stars if Yelp allowed it. Will definitely contact them again for future needs and for my other quote. read more

In the past I have had a issue with my GFI, and within 24 hours, Shane came out to check to see what the issue was. They had done a superior job on our extensive outdoor lighting.
