This store is worth checking out if you're looking for a nicer dress for a baby or a bridal shower, a birthday event or a special concert. The quality of the items is average, while the prices don't reflect that. They also have some silly knickknacks, that are cute, but can be much less expensive at other retailers. They have a large assortment of fashion jewelry, in particular earrings, they are all categorized by color. I have purchased some items here over the years. This is by no means my go to store. If I'm meeting someone in town, I'll sometimes browse through Francesca's till they're ready to meet. If I was still in high school maybe I'd be more drawn to shopping here more frequently. She uses great colors, her prices are fair, and she gets some pretty quality pieces. So far we've bought a Thomasville french provincial dresser and a 1930's Art Deco vanity. She does have pretty nice costume jewelry (not really my thing I am a dude), paint for furniture, handmade soap and other assorted items (we got some pretty sweet porcelain door knobs too). We haven't attended one of her classes, but on Saturdays you can learn how to paint furniture (shabby chic style), and you leave with the piece you worked on.
