Cannot get enough of this children's book section!!! I'm almost afraid to say something because…read moremaybe it won't be as awesome if word gets out lol! I got 12 books for $19. Some of these books retail for $10-$15 on amazon. I think I got lucky, but I was seriously excited for my hunt today. I noticed they also have Easter coming out! I didn't look around the entire store today but I'm sure valentines is out somewhere too!!

When I first started yelping and joined the Elite team in 2015, I never knew what it was about. As…read moreit grew and more members joined, I found a lot of people asking me to do food and restaurant content even though I honestly didn't know how to edit videos. My friend. Sally does amazing content though and I'm happy for her and since there were so many great content creators for food already, my focus has shifted to the amazing second hand scene Fresno has. Listen, we're not the East Coast when it comes to antiques or designers because hello, one of the biggest Fashion Week is in New York. However, there are times when you will find treasures. I have been wanting to make my way to this thrift store and I came because I had a doctor's appointment nearby. It is the old 99 cents store and it was huge. I was going to need more time to browse everything. While I do love Coach, I love fabrics and animal skin and I found the most darling calf skin, mink, kisslock wallet. I deleted the photo. They have a little seating area like a library where they sell books and a curated vintage section. They do help out the community, I think, the unhoused and contributes to sober living. The cashier was extremely nice because I was so excited when I realized my wallet was on sale.

Amvets is my #1 go-to thrift store. Just be aware that the parking lot can be a bit sketchy at…read moretimes because there are normally drifters hanging out around there. don't let that stop you from coming to this big beautiful place! I don't always find a good selection for clothes at most thrift store but here i always find something. they have a vast array of pants, shirts, shoes and things for the hoe. I got the cutest little play kitchen for my toddler. It was in excellent condition and it was only $35! that was a steal in my opinion because it came with all of the pieces, had a light up burner and everything. when you shop here i think i remember they ask that you keep the hangers on the rack. i try to do that at most places so i don't have to walk up with a bunch of hangers. come here during the Halloween season to find cheap costumes. they turn the back room into a Halloween central! you can find costumes and decorations for cheap!

Sad to hear about the layoffs of the employees. Hopefully…read morecorporate knows what they're doing. I've been coming here for years, and recently it's been bad every Wednesday used to be super busy and now it's like a normal day, senior discount really doesn't make a difference unless you buy so much. The prices increase for all women's shirts, blouses etc, shoes are price at 7.99 and there nearly coming apart. Ever since the new district manager took over everything just inflated with prices. Pretty hard to compete when majority of thrift stores are cheap. Lines are extremely long, always one cashier so it's really un desiring to wait.
