He claimed on two occasions that he couldn't do the work after noon (the most convenient time for my wife to be home) because it would take 4-5 hours. When he finally did make the repair it took less than 3 hours. He sat on our front porch on his phone and deliberately kicked some of our flowers twice, which we have on video. He also dragged his feet and kept my wife waiting at home for him on two separate days when he knew full well that he wasn't going to return or show up after he indicated he might still make the repair on those days. He also said that he didn't need to make the repair ASAP because we were supposed to have cooler weather that weekend. 0/10 would not recommend to change a light bulb, much less fix an AC unit. Had high hopes for this electrician but would not recommend him at all! He talks a good game - and…read moretrust me he talks too much - but the quality of his work is laughable. Had him install 8 can lights in our kitchen area. After a month and a half 5 of them had actually fallen out of the ceiling. He probably used the wrong type and/or improperly installed them. He also cut out a bigger hole than he should have for one of them (8" instead of 6") even thought he had already instaled several. We had to get a drywaller in to repair that. And then there's the huge holes he cut in the drywall to add outlets. The boxes were all crooked and we had to have them fixed. And more drywall repair than should have been necessary. The electrician who we fortunately got to replace him couldn't believe the lack of quality and felt obligated to report Jackson to the electrician board. If you need something done that will take 4 times longer than it should and likely won't be done correctly then this is your guy.

They left me without gas or hot water for 4 days! Thomas couldn't figure out what the problem was even though Atmos labeled all the leaks. He cut a hole in my wall and left! He said I needed "parts" but the warehouse was already closed. I called the office multiple times to get an update, cost of repairs etc and kept being told someone would call me back. I called another company who said that a permit was never pulled for my house and it has to be done when Atmos cuts you off, new company came out had me fixed within a hour because I didn't need "parts",the city inspector came out the same day too. After my repairs were completed by another company I got a quote from Hawkeye for 3 times the amount it actually cost to get fix! Be aware and stay away from this place. I called and was given information on how to turn it off at the shut off valve and scheduled for Trent to come out and make the repair. Only a few months later I was back on the schedule for a toilet replacement, I honestly did not believe anyone could replace the weird toilet that came with the house and worried about the tank that was mounted on the wall, but Trent removed it all easily and I finally have a normal toilet after a decade of living in this house.
