I absolutely LOVE this place! I have been to several festivals where horizon henna has had a booth and have gotten henna tattoos every time! Ankita, the artist is very professional and her work is amazing, I have no words for the level of talent she has. Customer service is everything, which can make or break a company. I've been to this particular store a few times, however on this particular day, my sole purpose was to go to Lizard Thicket to received a free henna tattoo. I received a text message that henna tattoo artist Ankita would be there from 6-8pm. I invited a friend as well, who had never been to Lizard Thicket. When we arrived at 7, we were greeted by the staff, and I told them we were there for the henna tattoo. There was a woman and her 3 kids that were already occupying the henna artist. No biggie! My friend and I proceed to browse the store. While we were browsing, we continuously looked at the table to see if Antika was free. After 30 minutes of browsing the store, we found items that we liked, and we each made a purchase. Side note, employees are suppose to ask customers for a phone number when checking out so that their purchase can add points to their account. However, I was never asked for a phone number and had to tell the employee that I wanted to add my points. She then looked shocked that I even have an account with them, but I digress. My friend and I finished checking out our items then walked to the table. At this point, it is now 7:45 and I see that the artist is not working on a customer anymore, but now a Lizard Thicket employee. We waited there until the artist finished. Mind you, once we saw that it was after 7:30, we asked the employees if we would be able to get a tattoo. The answer was, "Of course you will still be able to get your henna done!" However, after Antika finished the Lizard Thicket employees tattoo, she did not even have the decency to look us in the eye to say that the Lizard Thicket employee was her last customer (which was another lie because one woman walked in at 8:00 and she did her tattoo as we were leaving the store). Once the Lizard Thicket employee finished and saw the look on my face, she said that she would talk to Antika to see if she could still do ours. We never heard back from that employee. None of the employees or the artist had the decency to tell us that the woman was finished. She just suddenly begin packing up her things. Long story short, if you're promoting an event for your store, than you should always put PAYING customers before anything. More than one employee had a henna tattoo, which selfishly took away time from paying customers. This incident was very distasteful and tacky on behalf of Lizard Thicket and Horizon Henna. Although I am disappointed, I am not surprised. They will never get a dime from me again. read more

I found Horizon Henna on pinterest looking for candles for a baby shower favor. I found the perfect candle, a beautiful hand-painted candle with rhinestones delivered in a red organza bag. Unfortunately two of the candles arrived broken. I contacted Horizon Henna and immediately received a response and within days I received not 2 replacements but 4.
