WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I've been going to Mona's threading and salon from serval years. I used to get waxing, and threading. Two years ago their waxing service was terrible, gave me 1st degree burns so I stopped going there for waxing. I started going this year again, just for the threading but their staff has been changed. Their service is AWFUL. I will NEVER GIVE BUSINESS TO SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T know who to Speak to a client. They discriminate clients based on their race. They would never do this kind of behavior with an American. I was there 40 min before closing, no one was there before me. The lady who attended me first was in rush and panicking that she didn't finish the service and said it's completed, I had to tell her that work was clearly incomplete so then she asked her colleague/ family member to finish it. Colleague was better at finishing the job. First Lady's attitude was Terrible, she didn't want her colleague to finish the job according to my satisfaction. How ridiculous it is! Either you take a job or not take a job. You can't leave the job and ask Money for it. How unprofessional! If you are running a business, get yourself educated on customer service. read more

I had an eyebrow mistake done by my old eyebrow person. It was a pretty bad one... I saw someone with really nice brows so i was told to come here! So far I've been twice and I'm probably never going to stop! I'll suggest not coming in a day the braves play because the parking lot is a little hectic. And not too late on fridays because it's really busy! But other than that, service is nice and friendly. Your brows are brushed out and reviewed before starting. As my brows are growing out of the mistake phase, she has taken the time to work with them growing back correctly. I really appreciate the patience's had with my brows during my last two visits. I'm SUPER particular with eyebrows because I had a very rotten experience the first time I ever got mine threaded. I grew my brows out for YEARS applying all kinds of oils to them and the lady I saw shaved almost half of it off. So anyway I came to this place because of its reviews and let me tell you they didn't disappoint Ms. Monu (I am not sure if that's her name please forgive me I think that's what I heard someone address her as) has done my eyebrows twice now and I love love love them. She's the only one who's ever gotten it this right. She's aware that my right eyebrow has a lot less hair in the front than my left eyebrow and somehow threads them so that they look very similar without being thin! When I fill them in they look professionally done. My confidence at work and during weekends has peaked because of my brows :) and it's very easy to maintain them with a tweezer. A different woman did my brows, and i specifically stated i wanted to keep them thick and to just clean them up. She didn't listen. She gave me an arch that i didn't ask for (i've posted a photo), and they came out MUCH thinner than my previous session. I didn't notice it until i had left the building and happened to glance in my rearview mirror... If every employee can't consistently give good results based on what the customer is asking, i do not think this establishment deserves a high rating. I've already purchased a series of 3, so i will make sure to only let the same person handle my brows next time... After they've had time to grow back in properly. ***** ORIGINAL REVIEW ***** Ladies, you know that feeling when you can't stop checking your brows out in the mirror because they look SO good? That's the experience you'll have after a trip to Mona's. I've been growing my eyebrows out for a couple months, and i finally caved and decided to have them groomed somewhere. They were a mess, but i was convinced they were still to sparse to be cleaned up properly. I was wrong. I've been coming here for brow threading for a while and have always left a happy customer. My brows are pretty thick and I only want my shape cleaned up, so it helps that they only charge $6. I took a long break bc the last girl threaded them too thin. I never had an issue before but I learned a personal lesson to ask for names. After a good 8months ...May have been a year, I've returned ! I decided to give it another chance , clean up my brows and look my age again, And to give their waxing a try. I am in pain!! I have been going to this place on n off. The lady who was helping me was sweet but she really did not good a very good job. She forgot to apply powder on my underarms so when she went to pull the strip stuck to the skin because of the sweat so she kept pulling till she almost ripped my skin. And she applied wax multiple times on my skin and kept pulling. About the wax- that was cheap quality too. Do not buy their packages. You will get stuck with it. I was so nervous. This was my first time trying threading. I walked in and about 5 people were in front of me. They got to me in about 15 minutes. Only two ladies were working and they were fast. I was called to the chair and I explained this was my first time and I didn't want her to take too much off. She shaped my brows perfectly! It did hurt. It was like a stinging sensation and my brows are a little sensitive now. Apparently it gets better the more you go. Nice job for only $6! read more

I've had my brows done better, I kept having to tell her what look I wanted. The facial was a miss for me. I did not enjoy it all. You can definitely tell the difference in quality of the facial versus a spa. I do like packages offered for brow threading. 3 for $15 or 6 for $25. I have been going to a different place for about 2 years and I have always felt dissatisfied, but I could never quite put my finger on what was off about my eyebrows. By some twist of fate that place was randomly closed and I was forced to find somewhere else to get my eyebrows threaded because I have a wedding this weekend. The minute she finished I looked like a different person, in a great way. I am very happy with the skills, service, and price. My eyebrows are officially on fleek. I've been here about 4 times now and I've always left with eyebrows I am proud of. Unfortunately, I don't have an in-and-out experience because I'll ONLY let Mona thread my brows so I usually wait for a few minutes. I've decided that she'll be the only person who touches my brows because I sent a friend here after my first visit and someone other than Mona did her brows. She was NOT pleased. Each brow had a different shape and one was higher than the other. There was absolutely no fixing it - she just had to wait for it to grow back in. During my most recent visit, I also got my upper lip and chin threaded. My brows look AMAZING, as usual, and it didn't hurt at all. Once finished with my brows, Mona let someone else do my upper lip and chin, which are more sensitive areas in general. This was one of the MOST painful experiences I've ever had and there was still hair when she was finished. I asked her to use tweezers to clean it up but she went over the area with the thread repeatedly instead (and I STILL had a stray hair that I plucked with tweezers when I got home). Additionally, I had a friction burn on my chin. Moral? Stick with Mona. The other techs should really be better trained. But she does an AMAZING and painless job. She's really pretty awesome. And their 3 for $15 deal is pretty epic. read more

This place isn't fancy, but I was able to walk in on Saturday morning and get everything done to my liking in less than 20 minutes. The prices are great ($6 for eyebrow threading), especially when compared to other eyebrow threading places, and the girl who did my brows did an excellent job! I've had threading done in Turkey, Pakistan and the U.S. I came in on Monday at 620pm. They literally keep the business open until 7pm. It would normally be slow but maybe I brought the crowd. Mona wasn't there, only one woman named Kim. There were two women in front of me and I let one go ahead. That made 3 women. All done in 20 mins or less, TOTAL. I was like uhhh wow she's fast. I got my entire face done and henna on my left hand. I try that every 6 months or so. It's extremely painful but I love the smoothness of my makeup application and no fine hairs in natural sunlight. You know it's good when a native Indian and Americans support the business. Lol Cheap. Clean. Fast. -1 Star because I wish my henna was a bit more detailed and neater. read more

I have been going to Mona's for about a year and I love her. I had only allowed Mona to thread my brows until the last time. I'm not sure of her name but she was very tough and it was the worse pain I have ever felt since I started to get my brows threaded. I hated it since it was probably my last time going here since I don't work in the area anymore. Besides the last trip, I really like the shop. Mona is very personable and understands good customer service. The price is the best one I have seen in the Atlanta area ($6) and they have a good bundle.
