This place was great. It's tucked away in a business park so a little tricky to find. The massage was perfect and I love that they have halo therapy and an infrared sauna that you can utilize as well, the perfect combo! While I did a basic a relaxation massage there look to be many more offerings - deep tissue etc. They also had Pilates reformers and a trainer there for workouts. Misty is a gifted massage therapist with extensive training in breathwork and movement. Her Zen Touch and Deep Tissue massages are excellent but her MFR massage is a stand-out that was so helpful in my recovery from both back surgery and a shoulder issue. In 3 sessions I noticed not just the massage relaxation after but better integration and movement of muscles. Whatever service you book, you'll regret not adding 30 more minutes. ;) The Healing Room offers many other services including personal training using pilates and Gyrotonic. I've been training with Loni for nearly 3 years through 2 back surgeries. Even more than my regular physical therapy this has improved my strength, balance, and accelerated overall recovery. Great experience from start to finish. Did an IR sauna for two people and felt like a million bucks afterwards. $45 for two people as a first timer, think it would be $55 next time. Super clean and organized, very friendly employees, and the heat went up to 155F! I used to only getting 140F, so the extra bump in temp was awesome. When I learned about Halotherapy from a podcast, I was immediately intrigued at the benefits. My search brought me to The Healing Room - the only place with a salt booth that uses pharmaceutical-grade sodium chloride. Misty explained how everything works and what to expect. The 30 minute session was relaxing. There was a couple of chairs to sit on inside the booth but I chose to stand up and turn every few seconds. Relaxing music was piped in at a very comfortable level and the soft changing lights added to the ambiance. Definitely will return for more sessions until I get my desired results! How did I not know about this amazing sanctuary! We have done 3 halo therapies (dry salt therapy) in the past few days and it has helped my sons congestion, post nasal drip and cough so much! Previously we had been driving to Temecula for this therapy and I am so over joyed to find it locally! I was able to make an appointment on Friday night through their website, and voila - Saturday afternoon appointment. They also have quite a bit amount of specials on their website so I highly recommend checking them out before you book. Rhonda met me with a smile when I arrived for my massage. Then she went to work on me for the next 60 minutes. I could feel her releasing my knots and helping my poor should muscles loosen. The Healing Room has many holistic services offered but I went specifically for the Halo Therapy. This therapy has been around and yet seemingly undiscovered. The booth was very relaxing and offers options like light therapy if you want and piped in music. It is a relaxing easy to give yourself 30 minutes. My skin feels softer today and my lungs clearer. Highly recommend and if you have never tried Halo Therapy or know what it is, please research its health benefits. It's great for kids too! Misty was very accommodating and personable. I purchased the $75 for $110 Yelp deal, and visited Misty at The Healing Room for a 90-minute massage. I was able to schedule online, and even though I scheduled it late in the evening for an early session the next morning, Misty was able to send me a confirmation email once she received my appointment request! The massage was wonderful! I suffer from chronic back pain, and just tightness from my different workouts. Misty did a wonderful job working with me, and finding the sore spots. She's also great to chat with - but after a few minutes, I entered a state of relaxation and enjoyed the rest of my 90 minute massage! After my session, Misty gave me a few tips that I can use when I start feeling the tightness in my shoulders/neck. I really enjoyed my massage from Misty & will definitely me going back! Also, she's located in PB and the parking lot is limited so make sure you arrive a few minutes early. There's some right outside of the building or on the surrounding cross-street. I am writing the day after and I woke up feeling amazing today. I got the 20 minute infrared sauna followed by a full hour swedish massage with Durae. She creates an incredibly relaxing ambiance from the start. I'm not sure if it was the sauna, but I have had many massages before and I have never felt as good the next day as I do today.
