Very refreshing. We added a bright and brightly-flavored roasted beet salad with, crumbled goat cheese, glazed pecans & slices of pickled red onions. And they kindly allowed us to order a simple hot grilled cheese & fries off of the kids' menu, which we shared around as a little bar snack to tide us over. We enjoyed the view to the west of stately Monadnock Mountain. They have a golf course and mini-golf, too, but this time we were just for the beer. In addition to the hand-written tap list above the bar, they keep an online list up-to-date, too. This was a pleasant recovery from our strenuous day. Although this was communicated politely, it's actually a very rude thing to impose on customers. So, on one hand, if vegans aren't this businesses main focus, its totally understandable not to go through great lengths to cater to us- But, it is an extremely poor business practice to both not serve vegan food and not allow customers to order their own food. Given the number of areas businesses that value vegan customers, it shouldn't be too hard to replace B&B in our rotation.

The dishes and drinks are very good, the shepherd pie is a little greasy for my taste but in general all the food delivers and the theme is pretty consistent for an Irish pub feel and taste. The one point that really makes or breaks this location is the service.
