My kids meal, which I have no complaints about!
    Desiree H.

Was visiting North Conway for mine and my friends birthday, we both come to North Conway every year and have never tried Horsefeathers but always heard good things. The place was busy, once we were seated we waited 10 minutes for our waitress which we didn't mind. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our menus were like "old magazines", mine was ripped so the pages fell out and my friends had rippled due to water damage.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We waited 20 minuts for our meals, again, was not a problem and I don't have any complaints on my meal, I did get the hot dog off the kids menu because I wasn't looking for a ton of food, the fries were really good! But my friend ordered the chicken and shrimp pad Thai, the veggies were still frozen, it had no bean sprouts and it was dry. And for the price, she didn't feel like it was worth it. I guess we were just expecting more from a restaurant thats so well known

This is a sports bar centrally located in North Conway by Mt. Washington. While it is a sports bar it was perfect for a quick family dinner before we went to Conway Scenic Railroad (about 5 min walk or less). There was a rather long wait to be seated but after ordering, food was very quick. We all ordered drinks to start. My husband and Aunt both loved their selection of Beers. You can't go wrong with beer in New England with all the IPA's. I got the Mochatini. It was alright. A coffee flavored martini to set off the night. For food we were all pleasantly surprised by the portions. They were very big. My husband got the loaded nachos as his entree from the appetizers but it was enough to feed everyone and so delish. I got the clam chowder soup and ceaser salad combo. Both were filling and delicious. The clam chowder actually had a lot of clams in it. My son got a hot dog and horsefries from the kids menu. Lastly my Aunt got the Crab & Havarti Sandwich. We all left very full and satisfied with our dinners. The prices are fair considering the location and portion's. This is a good spot if your in the area and just want some solid favorites.

Half a roast beef sandwich with cup of clam chowder

Stopped here for lunch while in north Conway. Was crowded but was seated immediately. Our server was very busy and apologized for the delay in ordering. I decided on the soup and half a sandwich. I chose the clam chowder and the sandwich was a roast beef on rye. The chowder was full of clams and the sandwich was stuffed with tender roast beef. I had leftovers for the day after.

Literally raw meat in the burger.

The first burger came with a hair on it. Second came 25 min later virtually raw. I truly, politely, asked the server about the undercooked meat (ordered medium) and she almost cried, told me she was the only one in the dining room and could do nothing about it. I left her a large tip out of pity but would warn anyone off this place and suggest the health dept pay a visit. The hostess was rude to my 91 year old mother as we left. It's really sad when everyone goes away from a meal feeling this poorly. Staff and guests alike. Avoid

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is cozy and laid back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server Ella deserves a raise!! She was so incredibly sweet the food came out of the kitchen piping hot, if you are planning on coming, order the cheesesteak sandwich and panko chicken tenders. Their signature horse-fries with poppyseed dressing is to DIE for! And the kids menu is a great portion, it's enough for 2 meals so you don't have to cook the next day/night. Give. Ella. A. Raise. !!!!! ( or good tip )

Both were DELICIOUS. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the fries were amazing as well. The salad was great too. For drinks, we got the key lime pie martini and the lemon lavender martini. The service was quick and great too. The best part was the ambience - they have live music starting at 9 pm and some nights it's open mic. So we got dinner with an impromptu show and we loved it. I would come back here when I'm visiting again. One thing I would check before heading here for dinner is the hours. They are not open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays like most restaurants in the area due to staff shortage so I would double check they are open before making dinner plans here.

The outside is unsuspecting and our hopes were not very high as it is fairly difficult to find decent food in the area. We were pleasantly surprised! We arrived 30 minutes before they opened (unaware they were closed) and were still met with kindness and helpful staff who made a reservation for us for when they opened. We sat outside which was perfect with a toddler. Staff were very friendly and service was great. We were skeptical of the menu as it is limited but all of our meals were excellent. We were even shocked by the quality of the kids Alfredo with shrimp. Everything tasted fresh. A little pricey but worth every penny. Will absolutely be back!

A small bar as you enter that was full when we came in. We sat at a small table in the bar area. Everyone was very nice and our waitress was attentive enough - but she seemed a bit busy. But all was fine service wise. So....the food. It's weird. Like trying too hard to be different but just didn't hit the mark for me. I see bread on a menu and I get excited! So immediately I ordered the Parmesan bread with dill pickle butter. The bread was warm and I enjoyed it but the butter with dill pickle just didn't work for me. Lots of other things to me could have complemented the bread better. Then we order the lettuce wraps, they were ok. My friend ordered the duck and I tried it and we both really liked it! The vegetables were good! My sirloin....the steak itself was good despite being a tad overcooked for medium rare. Something on the plate had a curry flavor - it just didn't all go together well. Then the lemon ricotta cheesecake....we didn't taste any lemon, it was thick and weirdly dry for a cheesecake. It also had freeze dried something on top....we actually weren't sure what. Some bright spots - the food quality! You can tell that these are top notch high quality ingredients, and the cocktails! They were yummy! I just don't like the weird combos and what (to me) feels like being weird for the sake of being different versus just being good. Since I only come up here a few times a season I likely will go to our other favorites or try new spots.
