Squirrells don't like safflower seed, and the birds get used to the taste quickly, and the squirrels don't spill the seed looking for their favorites. It cost $39.50 on January 16, 2018; which is $10.00 cheaper(!) than Russell Feed. They also have farm-raised chicken eggs during the laying season as well as all the typical feed store items, including pet supplies(food, collars, leashes, etc.). They are on North Main Street(Hwy 51) in Weatherford, Texas. And, no, I don't work there or have any financial interest in the place. It's just a great feed store.

My gelding eats 2nd cut Timothy and my mare eats 1st cut that tests between 8-10% sugar with her health issues. She always has both in stock as well as many other choices. I'd highly recommend both types of Timothy and alfalfa. She has it available all in compressed or full sized bales as well as some other types. Kenny is always there ready to point you in the right direction while loading it with a smile and kind words.

The horses they have outback are fat and shiny, and definitely a testimony to the quality of hay they produce. Today I was a first time customer and they gave me a coffee cake, which was the nail in the coffin for me. I am sold! Their hay is green and fresh with very little stems. Owner is very informative and knowledgeable on Hay and I felt very comfortable buying from them. I highly recommend.

What really sucks is we paid waaaaay too much for this animal and when I just called to see if we could return it after a 72 hours of headache we were told they don't allow returns on their animals. We were never notified of this upon purchase. We would have been more cautious if so. The best we can do now is notify everyone else that looks up this establishment on yelp that their training program needs major improvement if hey're going to let high school kids run the show. I'm all about kids working but arm them with good training. Train them to for warn customers when a product is nonreturnable. Don't just depend on the customer to see a random note on a wall alongside a bunch of other papers and advertisements. We're going back to Red Chain and TSC for all of our bovine, goat and poultry needs. I suggest you do the same. 350 bucks in the trash. And that's if my wife hasn't contracted some disease from the bites.

I was consulting with my vet on some livestock feed and bc they have a metal building I lost service. I asked if they could please provide me with the WiFi so I could decide which food was best and the lady responded that WiFi isn't for customers and that I could use the phone at the store to call him. My vet is a busy man and I didn't want to disturb him with a call and wanted to make it an easy text especially since it is Sunday. I ended up having to set my other items down several times to step outside to get service. Not good customer service. I intended to be in and out in 5 minutes. But ended up having to stay way longer to get the messages thru and get my stuff. Next time I'll stick to Fort Worth location. No one is trying to steal your internet guys. Literally I want to be in and out as badly as you want me to be on my way..... craziness. No wonder this is a 2 star location. Sounds like Everyone is having the same experience.
