All of her friends, 10 of them also had a great time so much that one of them had to get a pet the immediate next day. This was quite clean and meticulously kept up. The host was so gracious and kept the kids entertained and engaged and also took care of the animals quite well. They did not rush us out of the party and let us take our time last the 2 hour mark. Valley Humane Society plays a critical role in our local pet adoption ecosystem, and we had the…read moreprivilege of being given a tour recently. VHS goes to local county shelters and saves well-behaved cats and dogs that are about to be euthanized because of overcrowding. They have a medical clinic onsite that does a wellness check, and then their 200+ volunteer army steps in to foster and care for these cats and dogs, while permanent homes can be found. Our tour focused on the cat side of VHS. First we checked out the youngest kittens, which are kept in separate rooms, followed by Kitty City, which houses the remaining cats onsite (the rest are in foster homes). We met all the Catizens of Kitty City, including Mayor Big Bird, who has since been adopted, and several others with interesting personalities and histories, like Donna, Dealership, and Zombie (my favorite!). The animals are lovingly cared for, and the operations at VHS are well-organized (e.g. laundry area, kitchen and break rooms, etc.). Kitty City also includes an outdoor play area for cats, affectionately called "The Catio" !! Thank you, Valley Humane Society, for all that you do for our community.

I was looking for a baby kitten, and thankfully I found exactly the little cat I was hoping for. The adoption process was easy and smooth, and you can really tell how much the staff cares about the animals. The cats are very well treated, and the conditions they are kept in are excellent. Her mom adopted the sweetest chihuahua from Arf back in 2021, the fur baby went blind about a year ago. So we were really concerned about how she would settle in a new environment, and we're trying to rehome the dog I went to Joybound a few weeks ago to ask if there was any chance they take back their animals in these circumstances. The woman at the welcome desk was so helpful explaining yes they do. She walked me thru the process to fill out the forms online They got back to my friend promptly to setup an appointment for a behavior assessment and vet evaluation. We had our appointment yesterday at 2. We arrived a half hour early so we wouldn't be rushed , and to help Lily stay as calm as possible. Everyone we encountered was delightful and so kind. No judgements- Lily came alive with tail wags and enthusiasm to be back at such a supportive rescue group. She was just basking in the attention and love. She passed her behavior test with flying colors. We were told she most likely will be going to a foster home first for a few weeks before she's available for adoption. We were told we can follow her online with her name, and see when she becomes available and she won't be on the website anymore once she finds her next loving home. Thank you Joybound for standing behind your animals and supporting families We also did not have to pay a surrender fee. We were encouraged to take our time and enjoy complementary coffee or tea, also offered a box of tissues We were already pulling out of the parking lot before our scheduled appointment time Can't think you enough for your kindness all around this hard experience

Staff very friendly and kind. The room is separate from the rest of the building and very clean and nice. Staff will explain all the steps. I've had two dogs brought to hssv for end of life services before and it was also very good for such hard times. I waited too long once and another dog passed away over night, don't wait too long to let your loved one go.

They offer the animal first come first serve as far as the applicant can offer the good environment the animal needs. Foster mom is super kind and knowledgeable. She has the 6th sense for the best match bw animal and adopter. She is super helpful to coach how to take care our cat. They take excellent care of the rescue cats and dogs till forever home. I highly support their effort. One of the most humane group.

She was the sweetest being and lived along and happy life for 16 years. When she passed, we found out that Judy was still offering such beautiful fur babies, and we went to her again. She is the real deal! She let us know about a new litter and we fell in love with one of them! Both were 100% healthy and well behaved and loving and sweet! She has turned out to be just as sweet and beautiful as Bella was! We truly believe it is all because of Judy's loving care while nurturing them in that all important young puppy stage. I retired from breeding and I later discovered that my name was mentioned in a complaint on a ripoff site against Judy, and she had continued to use my name and my stock photos for years afterward, presenting them as the stud/dam to puppies she is currently selling. She exhibits unscrupulous behavior and lacks integrity, often fabricating stories about care, and for many years, she has been known to sell questionable, healthy puppies. Furthermore, her website falsely promotes that the puppies are vet-checked and provides a certification from a veterinarian who retired a decade ago and no longer owns the business.

Let us know of some medical work she had & provided plenty of video, photos and a live whatsapp meeting to show us raili and guarantee her health and disposition. We were smitten, said yes, and picked her up a month later at SFO. These dogs are not easy, but a year later it has been the best decision we've ever made. Raili has gone from shy and reserved to a goofy confident dog. the formosan breed is very fight or flight so it is important to give them time to adjust, but also make them face challenges and overcome their fear. Adopt a doggie gave us referals to Brent Cooper (cooperhaus training). and we worked with him for a short while to help with training and confidence building. These dogs are work, but if you have the time it will absolutely work out.
