Tried the $35 week of unlimited classes. I normally not a yoga girlie but I heard a few clients mention Hot 8 and decided to give it a try because I love a good heated class. Woah was it hot in there, but I loved it. It's not unbearable, I didn't have to step out but it's definitely a mental challenge. Grab a cool Towel from the refrigerator. I can't remember the formatting took, didn't love her so not worth mentioning.I fell in love with Stephanie Love, I took her barre and sculpt class. Music, her aura, her flow everything was amazing. I'd return just for her, her energy and the challenge. Restrooms are very packed after classes, so I typically just run to my car and head home to avoid the chaos. I would definitely recommend taking Stephanie, you wonty regret it.

I've been coming to hot 8 Pasadena for 4 months now. I have taken every class except power(yet) I have also only been to the Pasadena location so I can't compare. I do really enjoy the classes the instructors are all great and have high energy for the high energy classes and really keep you motivated and pushing through. One of my favorite classes is yin w/ jaz w/ tennis balls! This class should be a staple in everyone's practice! The difference it makes in your muscles and recovery is tremendous! The not so great: there have been a couple of times maybe 4 that I remember where there was no toilet paper or seat covers in 3 of the stalls which was annoying and they had just opened around like 330 pm and it was 4 pm so I don't see why there wasn't fresh restock? The price is not cheap $219/ mo I know with inflation and everything it's expected but from previous reviews it looks like months have passed and the same problems persist. No bathroom supplies, supplies not being wiped, smelly rooms. Sometimes the classrooms stink so bad like an old car in a garage or something ? And just like sweaty idk how to explain it but they can really smell badly sometimes. Sometimes the speakers in the classrooms suck ? I'm not sure if it's the cable connected to the phone the actual speaker or what. But there have been a couple of classes where the music would go so quiet or just completely stop and it messes with your focus and flow and energy. Some of the classes get so packed to the point it feels unsafe due to overcrowding and you would get trampled if something happened lol. Maybe for crowd control they can offer more classes during the day? The front desk people are pretty nice for the most part. I would give all the instructors an award for being so amazing and supportive and make you feel connected and loved! Most of the instructors feel genuine!! You get two hours free parking with validation which is a plus iykyk. I would recommend this place for sure and will continue to be a hot 8 yogi ‍

Locker room cabinet. Broken furniture that hasn't been repaired in 3 months. looks bad.

Ask the Community - Hot 8 Yoga

Good morning, do you have prenatal yoga class?

Hi Emiliya — thank you for your question! We do not currently offer in-person prenatal yoga classes at our studios, however we do have some pre-natal classes available through our online platform Hot 8 On-Demand. Check it out here:…

Good Morning, are you requiring the use of masks during studio sessions?

Hi Nick! Thank you for reaching out and for your question. In accordance with the LA County Health Department masks are currently required throughout our facility including during class, regardless of vaccination status. We would love to practice…

Is the equipment sanitized in each studio? (weights, blocks)

Hi, I recently moved to Pasadena, I want to join classes on long term basis, say 3-4 classes a week for more than 6 months. Can you please let me know the price for in-studio…

Hi Thumree — thank you for your inquiry! If you are planning to practice 3-4 times per week we offer an unlimited membership which would be the most cost-effective for your needs :) It is $199/mo. We also offer $8 community classes sporadically…

If I were to get the 1 week for 8 dollars , were it to take count by the days I show up or for the week regardless if I show up or not?

It's good for 7 consecutive days from the date you first schedule :)

Are you guys having classes at this time for beginners?

Hi Beatrice. Yes! We are offering a variety of classes available through our Hot 8 Outdoors series at our Pasadena location — all of our classes are all-levels will the option to modify as needed. We offer your first 2 classes for $20 as a way to…

I have a wider mat, about 36 inches. Will that be a problem in a class with a lot of people? I don't want to feel like I'm taking up more space than I'm allowed to.

Yoga continues to be such an intimate lil' world. The Guide: Reza Samadhi * Heated OLY Flow We began with the breath: Five-count inhale. Six-count exhale. Reza gave us our point of focus: The breath. We moved slowly. Smoothly. Fluidly. Long poses invited us to deepen the breath. Flying transitions reminded us to keep breathing... until it felt like gliding. Eventually, we came down. In Seated Butterfly, Reza offered one more reminder: "Lean into your deepening." And then... that moment when something understood in the mind is experienced in the body. Lean into what's ready to open. Finally, ripe and ready for Savasana. Music off. Silence. The Tribe Callie's welcome made arriving easy. Two lives from the Midwest somehow meeting inside a yoga studio in Pasadena. The Space & Place One Life Yoga sits above the street. Up the stairs, messages appeared: Increase energy. Improve concentration. At the top, the studio opens into: White walls. Dark wood floors. Exposed ceiling beams. Plants spilling from windows and shelves. Chairs gathered around fresh flowers. And Ganesha waiting just outside the yoga room. Summary We moved. We breathed. We deepened. The Shift "Lean into your deepening." There it was: A teaching moving from thought into experience. ‍ Yoga Field Note: Practice turns knowing into being.

Unfortunately I didn't see colors during my sound bath. I did have memory flashed back of this year in my mind during the session. The instructor was kind and informative. We had a private party booked so I wasn't too worried about leaving my stuff in the locker area. There are no locks in the locker area by the way. I think it may be better to try the sound bath at night or if they lights were turned off. It was pretty bright and when the instructor mentioned the white light, I only see light from the window above me. My coworkers saw colors during the sound bath. Overall, interesting experience to try at least once!

For us THERE WAS NO STUDIO POLICY SHOWN AND WE DID NOT SIGN ANYTHING. We were also not gone for a month, she did not notify us of her absence so we waited outside over 10 minutes for class and then emailed her to ask why she didn't show up. The week after was the holidays so my girls had winter break for two weeks. However, I told her exactly when we will resume in which she did not disagree with and then when we showed up on 1/6, she doubled booked.
