I don't remember it having been heated in years past but i love a little sweat. Maddy and I came here last Tuesday after work and then again this morning on a Sunday am. They have lots of great class options but 11 am Sunday flow was definitely my favorite.. I mean what better way to end the weekend? The music in class was amazing and the focus on movement to breathe totally set the tone for the rest of the day. If I lived in SF, I'd definitely become a member. They have a few different locations and tho I have yet to check any of the others out, if they're anything like SF YOGA FlOW on Union St, I'd highly suggest! The studio has big glass windows and is perched on the second floor on the corner of union, so the space is filled with light and greenery from the trees on the street.

They are effective in it has kept my core tight from the spread one gets as a "women of a certain age". It's also kept my bum, legs and arms tight. Overall my body is tighter, my alignment and stance is better. I've been going to The Dailey Method on and off the past 4 - 5 years (off during the pandemic and also when I got busy with a new job).

Power Barre is a must, for any dancer, any fan of Pilates, or anyone who just wants a lean, toned dancer bod. And Pop Jam is so much fun. I've also taken Jazz Funk with Tashi, which is the BEST way to start a Monday. It's beginner friendly, but you learn technique. She's fun, lively, hilarious. Every single person is beaming when they leave her class. Drenched with Anna is also a pleasure. She's a delight to watch. A true athlete in her flow. It's a real workout! Belly Dance with Andrea was a surprise to me. I had no idea what Belly Dance was until I took this class. As it turns out, Belly Dance is like a mix of Pilates and Booty shaking. I didn't think I could move so precisely, but Andrea is such a good teacher, and so good at explaining the moves - I believe she can teach anyone how to Belly Dance. She has a thorough understanding of the history, the culture, and the artistry. Hip Hop with Mahi - the most energetic ball of fun there is. She's effortless. Drenched with Diamond - another great workout, and a delightful way to spend a Saturday morning. I love to take my girlfriends and get brunch in Union Square afterwards. Also, the Rae Studios Showcase was SO much fun. You get training in how to perform as a group. The adrenaline is intoxicating. There are people who do four per season, is how fun it is. After, my response to a honest "hey I'd like to cancel"? MO is to run to the contract. Its a gym contract you'd think were buying a house here. It puts a bad taste to even want to come back in. I started at Doonya taking Shruti's classes, and later switched to the Heron St location for Palak's sessions. Both of them are amazing instructors! The steps are broken down into easily graspable parts, the choreo is a little challenging but at the same time not too complex which lets you also focus on the "working out" part of it, and moreover the energy level of the instructor is what makes this class truly motivating and pushes you harder. Palak also organizes happy hours, which is a great way to meet people if you're new to the city. Would definitely recommend this class for a fun workout!

I came back recently for a class because I had some credits remaining, and unfortunately this recent experience was even worse. Even though I showed up early for a morning class, the staff informed me that they had already ran out of earplugs for the day. I've attended 30+ SoulCycle classes at other locations, and this has never happened before at those locations. The music was so loud during class that my ears were hurting and ringing the rest of the day. The bathrooms also didn't have any hair ties, which was strange because all the other SoulCycle locations I've been to always had hair ties. This location is also lacking in terms of sanitation. The towel on my bike had multiple dark stains that rubbed off on me, and they ran out of equipment wipes to clean our bikes. The bathrooms also ran out of soap, so I couldn't even wash my hands after class.
