This is definitely one of the better bagel shops in town. They always have heavy foot traffic and for good reason. Bagels are always fresh and pretty big. The staff is professional and friendly. Been going here for years. They make great bagels, crisp on outside and soft in the middle. Taylor, egg and cheese is delicious. We love their lunch items. Turkey club sandwich is awesome, tons of turkey, 3-4 slices of bacon, mayo on bottom and middle slices of bread. Comes with a side (pot, mac, slaw or chips) and pickles. Love their Tuna and Chicken salad too on a nice fresh poppy or onion bagel. Service can be a little slow. I call ahead most times for pickup. read more

Great little bagel shop. Not fancy and not particularly pretty which means it's reeeeally good. They now have whole wheat everything bagels. (I am a visitor and the last time I was here they weren't offering.. Not sure when they started selling these.) The bagels are delicious and have tons of flavor on both sides. I definitely used the last of my ketchupy bagel to pick up the flavor that fell off onto the plate! They also sell chicken cutlets, heroes, chips, drinks, macaroni salad, potato salad, etc. There are 4-5 tables inside and people rotate pretty quickly so if its packed when you walk in, you'll likely get a seat by the time you pay and get your food. They look a little scattered behind the counter with 4-5 people doing everything per order (rather than one person doing all meat, another person staying at the register, etc) but they definitely get it done and satisfy. The NEED to have a pick up line separate from the order line, or they should make your food fresh after you wait in line for an additional 20-30 minutes. Even when there's NO line, there's at least a 5 minute wait while 3 people stand with their backs to customers. These have been my favorite NJ bagels for over 10 years. Personal opinion: the BEST bagel within 25 minutes. Now that we're super local, we've been getting a bagel once week and have noticed that the service is terribly inefficient. It's a waste of time & resources (meaning how many gloves the staff goes through) to have everyone be a cashier and make orders! It takes forever to order a plain bagel to-go as a result. If this place had a cashier or two, a spread person and two people cooking hot items, the wait would be so much less time because of efficiency! The amount of gloves you dispose of because of the current system is upsetting, bad for the environment and must be expensive. I called an order in this morning for pickup, the lady on the phone did not ask for my name or tell me the price. I called back saying "Hi I placed an order for pickup I just want to give you my name for the order and ask how much it is" the woman on the phone sounded annoyed and said "Oh my gosh I have a lot of people in line right now!!" I went to this sweet little gem of a place after I got a recco from my boy Weiss. Everything looks incredible and tastes even better. 5 stars for this place. I work very close by and this is my go to when I'm not feeling fast foods. My favorite is a toasted cream cheese and jelly bagel. The bagels are warm, not over toasted, they give a good amount of cream cheese and the bagels are big. They have a good drink and bakery selection also. The muffins in the front are really good. I've also had there tuna salad on a roll for lunch. It's delicious, fresh tuna with chips and a fresh pickle on the side. Good service all the time.
