So, we picked up a boatload of food to go, all at great prices and handmade! There was a line of locals inside and so many choices of what to order. The pastries yum - candy and hot plates to go. Cool friendly vibe, be ready to eat some homemade bread and delicious meats!

The Roadhouse Deli is everything you could want from a deli and more. They have exotic polish candies and chocolates and a record player with hundreds of records. The vibes checkout before taking a bite. Service was great as well and prices were realistic. This taylor ham egg and cheese is tied for first for me all time. The taylor ham is so thin and delicious. The polish ham sandwich was also very good and their perogies were just how I like them. Senseless not to give this place 5 stars across the board.

Went there for lunch and the food was steaming hot, just the way I like! This time I had the chicken cutlet, which was huge, tender, juicy in the inside and crispy on the outside. I also had 3 different perogies and the fried potatoes. I asked her to put some mushroom gravy on the cutlet and it was delicious. For dessert, I shared a homemade donut with the husband. It didn't look like much and there wasn't much jelly in the middle, but it turned out to be perfect.

So good! First time ever having pirogies this fresh! Had an amazing savory crepe with ham and cheese, poppy seed roll, and kielbasa. More than the great food though, the staff were so friendly and welcoming and took time to explain what everything was for a novice at polish food. Loved that the place had a record player for the music and all the polish candies. Oh and the potato pancake!!!!!! Yummmm

The menu requires some knowledge of Polish food with some offerings being familiar while others may require some exploration. We were two couples dining on a weekday evening. Two people had plum stuffed pork which was very good, one had the pork loin and broccoli which was also good. I had the schnitzel which was not to be confused with German or Austrian schnitzel. It was two small loaves of a mix of beef and pork which resembled more of a meatloaf. It was a bit bland but satisfactory. It came with mashed potatoes. Several sides of Polish sauerkraut, beet salad, and what appeared to be a fermented carrot salad were included. We shared an appetizer platter of pirogies, kielbasa, and something I couldn't identify, but it was all very tasty. This is not BYOB because they have a full bar. The ambiance has a Bavarian flavor and is squeaky clean and neat. The food is hearty and flavorful im what I would describe as peasant style. The service is excellent as they seem to want you to have a good experience. Reservations are required on weekends.

It was my time to expose my friend group to Polish cuisine, and boy is this the place to do it! We were immediately greeted by the authentic decor, furniture, and outdoor space of a Highlander restaurant in Poland. The furniture is hand carved and there are outfits and decorations straight from the motherland. You feel like you are in your grandmother's home- and in a good way! There is something to look at and admire around every corner. Our waitress was so welcoming and patient while we decided on a variety of orders. She greeted us with a warm smile, gave us plenty of time to select from the menu, and provided top-notch recommendations. The food - don't get me started. This is as good, if not better, than what I eat in Poland. We tried soups (the żurek- sour, but not overwhelming, well presented in a bread bowl, and with delicious boiled egg- and the red barszcz- a tangy beet soup), a "sampler platter" with gołąbki (mini stuffed cabbage with tomato sauce for pouring to your liking), and grilled kielbasa. We also opted for the rye bread, lard, and half sour pickles. Sounds odd, but don't knock it till you try it! It's not what you expect, very rich and filling. For my entrée, I had a thinly sliced breaded pork cutlet with mashed potatoes on the side and "mizeria" (Polish side salad with cucumbers, dill, and sour cream). It was so fresh and light. I loved it because it reminded me of summers with my grandma. The drinks were colorful, well presented, and strong! Definitely worth their $12+ price. Overall, this spot is a hit. There is plenty of parking on the street or across the street at the library. Everything from the service, ambiance, presentation, to the freshness and taste of the food was top-notch. This is the spot to visit if you want real Polish food. We will be coming back!

Seating was minimal - they had about 2 tables with 4 chairs each and some stools and side seating. Ordering was quick and easy and they have different sets too. We ordered a bit of everything to share amongst us 4. Everything was delicious but I especially loved the kielbasa. the outer skin was so crisp and it was overall juicy when you bit down with enough flavor. We got the beet salad with it and the slight tartness of the beets really complements the whole meal. We noticed they were super busy with take out and phone orders. They also have a refrigerated section where you can buy frozen products to cook at home, and a small grocery section with regional snacks.

There are several pierogi's to choose from as well as full plates, with sausage, salad and potato. My wife ordered 6 of the cheddar cheese pierogi (boiled) and I order 6 of the farmer cheese (fried). Both were served with sauerkraut and sour cream... and honestly each of them were awesome! After lunch, we grabbed some of the fresh pierogi's from the cooler to take home. Well worth it to take some togo for another meal. We will be back again -- and again...

BYOB We came with another couple on a Saturday night and it was amazing to walk into a gorgeous dining room area with a kid play space. Our two boys ages 6, loved having a lego table and toys while the adults loved having a moment of peace at the table! We literally had to beg them to come eat because they were so entertained. Do not think that it is a messy place because it is kid-friendly, quite the opposite, it was so elegant and beautiful inside. Now for the FOOD! Hubby and I ordered a tasting dish they had which included a few Polish favorites to try and it was perfect. It brought 3 different types of perogies (the potato and cheese was my favorite), stuffed cabbage, potato pancakes, kielbasa with sauerkraut, and more! We could taste a little bit of everything and the portion was huge. For our boys we had the chicken fingers and fries, and this sounds silly but it was REAL chicken. It wasn't battered, just strips of seasoned chicken and fries, the kids loved them. We also shared two desserts there was an ice cream with fruit (which was gorgeous) and a cole apple pie. I'm not a huge fan of the desserts but the presentation was incredible. The only downside is that service is a bit slow, but since it is BYOB, just take ur time drinking your wine. Overall I would highly recommend trying out Flavor of Poland and will be returning!

The potato pancakes were nice sized, six to the plate and split even to the three of us. The kielbasa over sauerkraut was delicious. The kraut was almost sweet tasting. The chicken cutlets were crispy on the outside and soft and hot in the middle, and plenty big. The big hit was the cheese stuffed fried chicken [Chicken Devolay] . Breaded and crispy fried chicken cutlet wrapped around cheese. When you cut it open the cheese just poured out and made a fantastic dipping sauce. So much so we each used it as a dipping sauce for the chicken cutlet after the Devolay was all gone. More people need to go to this place. It is awesome for some feels like home cooking.

The first visit, we ordered way too much food, as we weren't familiar with how generous the portions were. The Polish Platter comes with Kielbasa, Stuffed Cabbage, potato pancakes, pierogis, and warm sauerkraut that also has chicken and kielbasa included. That alone is usually enough for two people. The beef goulash was tasty, came with mashed potatoes, but was a bit salty. For the subsequent order, we just got a single Polish Platter to split between the two of us and an order of cheese blintzes. Everything was easily an 8/10, save for the goulash. Krakus will definitely be part of our regular takeout rotation moving forward, and I'd definitely recommend them.
