Picked Wag Hotel based on the positive reviews. We booked our dogs for 8 nights. Pricey but it is…read morewhat it is. Chose a "suite" because our dogs are litter mates and never apart. Chose all day play for both. Arrived and in going over booking was told that only 1 dog had all day play. No. Had that changed (I thought). Started using wag cam next morning. Both dogs looked miserable in all day play. Laying down away from other dogs. That was expected. They really aren't interested in playing with other dogs. Would have been nice if caretaker had taken notice. Next day I check all day play and only see 1 dog. Check "suite" cam and there is the other dog. Call Wag. Oh, you only booked all day play for 1 dog. No. I corrected that on check in. Half hour later check wag cam and both dogs are in all day play. Throughout the stay staff kept referring to each dog as "HE". They are not male. They are female as was clearly noted on their paperwork. Is that why no one cared that other dogs were trying to mount my dogs (per web cam). I think they could have and should have done better. This was not the exceptional care I was expecting. Oh, and thanks for the kennel cough

Hard NO on boarding at this place…read more Their online boarding accommodations do not reflect reality. The photos on their app make the rooms look comfortable and inviting. Based on my experience, that was not what I found. See the photos and decide for yourself. I booked an expensive "Daystay Deluxe Suite" for my sweet Aussie well in advance and received a confirmation. When I arrived around 5 a.m. before my trip, the employee checking us in told me I was assigned a medium room. I explained that I had specifically booked a suite. He initially insisted I was booked in a medium room, but after I prepared to show him my confirmation, he suddenly changed his tune and said, "Wait a minute." At that point, I was told all the suites were taken. I explained that I specifically chose the suite because it included camera access. The employee was not helpful in resolving the issue. Fortunately, his lead arrived for her shift and was able to find a suite that had become available because another dog was participating in all-day play. My dog ended up taking that room. When I asked how a confirmed reservation could be assigned incorrectly, no one could give me an answer. This was my dog's boarding experience here, and the last thing I wanted was a problem at check-in right before leaving town. I also brought a blanket from home so he would have something familiar and comforting with him. I was told personal items are not allowed due to laundry and lost-and-found concerns, which seemed unreasonable. I provided three pre-portioned meals. He was given the first meal and didn't eat it. Staff then gave him a second meal. After seeing this on the camera, I requested that they not give him the third meal if he still wasn't eating. That third meal bag was never returned, even though he didn't finish the first two. As for the "suite," it looked like a kennel w/walks and a raised platform to lie on. Premium bed is what is advertised. There was also an opening where my dog could see other boarded dogs across from him, which caused him to bark much of the day whenever I checked the camera feed. When I picked him up, he was exhausted and stressed. It did not appear to be a peaceful environment. The entire setup felt more like a rescue facility than the premium boarding experience their marketing suggests. The most disappointing part was spending my trip worried about my dog's well-being instead of feeling confident he was being cared for. Thankfully, this was only a day stay. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

The amazing and sweet morning workers would always be so happy to come and grab my dog, greeting…read moreher kindly and leading her in. She seems to always have a great time! The only reason for stars taken off is because my dog has come back home TWICE with worm related parasite illnesses. When I confronted them, they tried to assure me that the place is cleaned thoroughly. I attempted to let them know how the diseases are transmitted (as I work in veterinary medicine), but they only assured me they cleaned the area. Since there are cameras, it is apparent that they clean at the end of the day, but not fully when a dog pees or poops. This is how they are transmitted. They do not require your dog to be on any prevention either, which could also attribute to it since unfortunately some do not have their animals on prevention. I am so sad because a lot of the employees were so sweet to my girl and she always had a blast! :(

What I especially like about Canines Unleashed is that on Fourth of July they play music to block out the fireworks, and the team members have beds directly in the area where they board the animals so that they are close by them.

LOVE this dog friendly bar! it's such a good concept for dog owners! You can bring your dog and let…read morethem free roam and socialize with other dogs while you enjoy a beer and can bring your own food in! They even have "dog beers" you can get for your dog that are different types of broths w little treats plopped in so you can enjoy a "beer" w your pup! They also host lots of super cute events! From Watch parties for different sports to treat making classes to happy hour to name a few! It seems like they have an event/special everyday that they're open and they post events on their social media and website to sign up! I went to the one they had with oorahbayart where she was hand drawing pet portraits for a fee! She got so busy that she wasn't able to complete them all at the event but was able to mail them to us after! My corgi is a big fan of their homemade treat station where you can get treats in a bag by the pound! They have some super interesting ones like this one with mussels in it I think? That I've never heard of! Then they have more traditional ones like peanut butter etc! All ingredients are listed on each one so if you're on the lookout for allergies that makes it easy! There's a rawhide section priced by the piece and she's a huge fan of the chicken feet! For birthdays they have pup-cakes and ice cream in their fridge near the front and I saw a flyer that you could even host a dog birthday here which would be super cute!! If you're looking for a bar to bring your pup with you to then I would definitely recommend this one!

DOG THEME BIRTHDAY PARTY (4.5 stars)…read more Like I've said in the previous review... this is a dog place that's human-friendly. My dog and I and our dog friend group love coming here to just hang out, attend random human/dog events, and now have birthday parties here. PARTY-TIME My fur.baby turned 2 (but her first bday with me). I wanted it to be memorable. My previous pom wasn't very social. My newest fur.baby Pom is extremely social and all the things I wanted to do for my previous Pom I can do for this dog. So, I went all out. Reserved space here for the party - it's a 2 hr window (they have different tier packages to select from). I went with reserving the outdoor patio, will bring my own decor, my own everything,, and order catering food. If you want, they can provide decor, good bags, etc. THINGS TO KNOW: - No provided parking so keep that in mind when lugging all your belongings and during the event. - Bring fly fans. I brought 1 but should have brought 2-3 for the table. So many flies around. - Be quick when setting up and breaking down. There could be a party before you and or after you. BUY LOCAL I like to encourage my guest to buy from the place. While I brought in catered food, we couldn't bring outside drinks and you can purchase non alcoholic beverages, beer, etc. when you are there. My dog's party I had gift bags with party favors and I bought a lot of treats from the dog bar and served them at the party for the dogs. Also, while we ate the catered food, the dogs had dog cupcakes (bought elsewhere) and dog margaritas (bought a bottle there) and poured it into little cups I brought for the party. This place is so cool to have a dog menu, dog treat bar, and a dog bar serving dog beer and dog margaritas. My dog and her fur.friends and their human companions had a great time.
