I visited this place because of an article about the Best Hotdog joints in every state. This place was named the best hotdogs in Texas. Boy, were they wrong. We were better off going to the nearest gas station. I ate it because I was hungry and I paid for it. Not only was the food bad, but the service was horrible. At least five people were working behind the counter, and not ONE greeted us. No one was there except us, so I mentioned (loudly) the article that brought us there when a guy started to take our order. Several people looked at me without an expression and didn't even acknowledge my comment. Frustrated, I asked the guy taking the order if they were aware of the article. His response was, "I've only been working here a couple of weeks." Not a smile from anyone. Lastly, the cleanliness. The mat when you enter appears to never have been cleaned. Sticky sticky! Food was decent. I ordered the hotdog combo but for over seven dollars it was far too small abortion to be reasonable. Service was fine.

My boyfriends favorite place on the entire planet! Can't say I really understand why, but nonetheless, I will support his love for it. We stopped in the drive through Friday at 4 and it was quick and not very busy. We went with the wolf pack, so 6 chili cheese dogs (adding cheese is extra but OH so worth it!!) 3 fries and a large drink. I loved the fries and the lemonade is UNMATCHED! My boyfriend devoured the hot dogs as well. There's a wide variety on the menu so I'll be back to try some other things! read more

You get what you paid. For a fast food restaurant like this, I would say the food did not go above my expectations, nor did they go below the average. Everything is just about the average of other restaurants with the same price. I ordered chili cheese burger. My friend ordered Friday special combo (fries, chili dog, wings, and drink). The beef in the burger is dry. The wings taste oily. The fries are okay. I didn't try the dog. I know I'm not going there to seek for something super healthy. But I have to say when I was eating, the food makes me aware I'm eating something unhealthy. I'm not sure if this is because of their ingredients or just my stomach. Anyway. We stopped here because another place we wanted to go had staff that was moving a a snails pace. The food was great for a fast food joint. More like family cooking than over processed "junk." The hamburger and tator tots I ordered were great and my husband had the biggest hot dog I have ever seen in my life! The staff was quick and friendly. They even refunded us in cash for accidentally giving us too many drinks. And they take competitors' coupons! We'll definitely go again and recommend to others who are looking for a quick bite. I called 30 mins before closing to order. The guy on the phone was extremely nice and told me they don't take phone orders (that late at night or at all, can't remember). I arrived 15 minutes before closing. There were 5 cars ahead of me and it took less than 10 minutes for me to get out of the drive-through with all my food. $13 for 3 separate entrees (burger, dog, 10 wings)! Lonestar Cheeseburger was huge and awesome! All American Hot Dog has good sauces but the dog was a little weird. This is my favorite place to eat in College Station. The hot dogs here are like no other I have ever tasted. Was hoping for something more. I tried the kraut dog, chili cheese dog, the fried pig in a blanket, the Frito wrap, fries and some desserts. Had ~10 minute drive with the food but it was not very warm when I got to eat it. All the food was basic, nothing more than what you could do at home. 4 stars for Hot Dogs & Wings Etc. for wonderful service at the drive thru even late on a Monday night, and tasty, albeit skinny hot dogs. I ordered a kraut dog, a hickory dog, and 5 wings for $6.95 (tax incl.). The kraut was my favorite. I can't say if the sauerkraut is bottled, but it was crisper and much less translucent (overcooked), and more thinly shredded than the stuff I've seen at grocery stores. Of course don't compare it to that at Brauhaus, or even Scholtz Garten. but on an ordinary dog, its really tasty. The hickory dog was an ordinary dog with smoky barbecue sauce on it. But far from disappointing, it allowed me to taste the dog alone at the end, as well as with the sauce. The dog itself wasn't a bit bitter, and worked as well with the bbq sauce as it did with the mustard. I'll have to dine in next time to see if they offer deli-style dark spicy mustard. The wings were small, but not as overcooked as Wings & More or Wingstop. I think they were kept in a steam table, but they were still fresh. I would rather they had put the sauce on the wings than on the side, but I see their point: it would smell pretty strong on the drive home (not nec. a bad thing). These dogs were definitely better than nearby Weinerschnitzel, and far cheaper: They have a daily deal of 5 plain dogs for $5, or $1.29 ea., and deluxe dogs like my kraut dog for $1.54. They also have numerous combinations. Next time I'll try their corn dogs. read more

I've been to this place a few times now. I have a few tips for a really good meal. The Texas bomber burger is AWESOME! The chili and cheese sauce they put on the tater tots were not good. I was in Bryan yesterday on business, and I was starving for a good hamburger. I searched online for a local mom and pop establishment, and ran across this little drive-thru not far from me. I liked the very fair prices on the menu, but I was mostly impressed at the friendliness of the young guy working the window that took my order. First impressions are huge and I was instantly put at ease with how simple and easy he made the process. I ordered the Chili Cheeseburger and they cooked it up while I waited (a very short time). I drove away thinking that was the friendliest drive-thru restaurant I had visited in many years. I went to a nearby shaded parking lot to eat my burger, and it was wonderful! The patty was huge, hot, fresh and cooked perfectly. The bun was fresh, and the chili was a fantastic compliment to the big hunk of quality meat. It was messy, but I loved it and I cannot wait to visit there again next time I am in town. Great job guys! read more
