Came here for the first time with my family in a long time. We ordered the 32 ounce black Angus sirloin, seafood platter, beefmaster fries, fried pickles, avocado chicken breast, and the grilled pork chops. I was pretty delicious and juicy, but nothing spectacular about it. The portions are large for a very affordable price so that's a huge plus. Beefmaster fries wasn't that great, but the fried pickles were nice and crispy and very flavorful. The steak was pretty flavorful, but it was slightly overcooked so make sure you go 1 under on what you actually want. I wanted a perfect medium so I should've went medium rare, but instead I got medium well with some pieces well done. The avocado chicken breast had very little avocado, but as dry as the chicken breast looked, it was actually pretty juicy. Overall, for cheap eats and for some pretty good food, come support this business and bring a patch if you are first responder as it appears they collect them on their wall. I should've brought my patch from Hawaii for them. The staff were all friendly and fast. Lots of parking outside and lots of tables to dine on. It can get a little congested in the front when people are waiting to get checked in and it's also the same area where people are paying their tab. read more

We've driven past this place several times and noticed the parking lot was full. We finally decided to give it a try and we loved it! The server took our drink order and gave us time to look over the menu. The food, the rolls were nice and fluffy with a hint of sweetness... served with whipped butter. I ordered the Black Angus Fireman's Ribeye (it's not thick cut, but is tender and flavorful. Today I had the chance to stop In for a good meal at Sodolaks again! I had to wait about 10 minutes, but that was no problem! The locals know where to find a good meal. Went there for dinner tonight. The dinner started with their standard dinner rolls and the side salads we ordered. The rolls were way past their prime, to the point that the bottoms were crispy. I asked the waitress if she could bring some fresher rolls, but she said that they were all pretty much the same, but she had tried to pick out two of the best for us. My wife and I both had Chicken Fried Steak, which was very thin and a bit tough. Overall, not a great meal, certainly down from the last time we were there. I ordered chicken fried steak and it was about the size of a hamburger patty! The salad I ordered was only chopped lettuce nothing else for $7. Our server really tried but she was just overwhelmed and so our rolls arrived almost at the end of the meal and were tough and cold. Arrived at restaurant at 4:45 dining as a single. Was seated right away. Waited 11 minutes for a server, ANY server to come greet me and take my order. The restaurant was maybe 25 to 30 percent full and there were four servers standing around the entrance to the kitchen talking amongst themselves. I actually made eye contact with one of them but no one made any effort to come to my booth. Finally I decided to go ask to speak with the manager on duty. Apparently no one was in charge and was told "I guess she is". That is when I accepted the fact no one was being held accountable. The "manager " was cashing out diners are did not seem interested in getting involved or helping. I left. This may be an isolated incident but I have noticed the quality of service has declined at this restaurant and that is sad. Hopefully someone will notice this report and review the matter. read more

Please take the time to open EVERY SINGLE BOX ... they left out French fries ( with purchase of burger) I called to let them know AND double check that it was included ...and all the said was 'YES'!
