I read reviews so I can try new places. When it comes to my Pho, I need good broth. Some reviews said this place had best broth in town. First off, that is not true. Not the best. My pho was sooooo greasy that it literally had a layer of orange film that coated my bowl and utensils. Mine literally tasted like the $.99 top ramen hot and spicy soups you can get at the store. I couldn't even eat half of a small bowl that is how unappetizing my Pho was. My husbands Pho didn't look greasy but had no flavor. There was so much noodles that we couldn't even stir in anything. And had to ask for extra broth so we weren't just eating noodles. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

We tried the summer rolls, crab cheese wontons, and medium size beef broth spicy brisket pho... it was fire! It used to have only 5 booths then they expanded to the next door pizzaria and added 6+ additional booths. But what's really unique about this place - and we are still not able to see anything like this with our extensive traveling and pho broths flowing in our veins - is their spicy broth!! In the past at other restaurants, I would wind up with three rice noodles, a piece of broccoli, and a bucket of bland broth. Ok, I am from out of town and was looking at Yelp for dinner ideas and I saw the 2 great reviews and thought I might as well be #3! I Love me some Pho but I don't eat meat and this place has a vegetable broth. That being said, the portions are huge but the taste is no t. I so wanted to like this place but can only give it 3 stars and that is because of the veggie/tofu egg rolls. The broth required a lot of fixin up... I've been trying out new pho restaurants around the Denver and Boulder areas for the last three years and this is easily the best I've had! I live just down the street so I come here at least once and sometimes even twice or more a week! Which is acceptable to me, because their prices are also the cheapest I've seen. They have regular and spicy beef broth, and vegetable broth as well. Instead of having to ask for and add your own chili oil, they know how to add the perfect amount to make it the most delicious spicy, rich broth you've ever tasted. Nam is always the only server there, and he can take on all of the 8 tables in the restaurant at once! He's incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Small quiet place with great customer service. I try Pho most places I travel and it's easy to give Hot Pho a 5 start on all aspects. Customer service was pleasant and prompt. Shrimp Pho was very tasty with good portions of shrimp and typical Pho additions. Spring rolls were loaded and amazing and as a bonus I'm always biased a little when they provide the red pepper paste, not the oil, to add some kick to the Spring Rolls.
