    Egg rolls

We were so excited to hear about the new Kailua Hot Pot Heaven Lunch menu! We were the very first in the world to try it! Everything we ordered was delicious! If you order a Pho, you get an egg roll to celebrate the new menu! The egg roll had just the right crunch and the filling was so yummy! It comes with that sauce you want to just drink on its own! The summer rolls were humongous! It comes with a peanut sauce that you'd want to slather on everything! And the pho! Like Pho Heaven, the broth is the bomb! So good, gotta drink up every drop. The Vietnamese ice tea was so refreshing, too! Best of all, Kim, the owner is always so gracious and inviting! She brings a smile to your face and treats all her customers with warmth- like family! Go down now! You will be happy you did!

My boyfriend and I came here to eat dinner and it was busy on a Friday night. I like how there's plenty of toppings and meat here. You can share a hotpot soup in half and order separate soups. It was definitely worth coming here. There might be a wait as it's small inside. Service was excellent and great by the people working here. Parking is directly up front. Highly recommend

We parked along the side and went in through the front entrance. The restaurant is very clean and nicely organized! We sat at two tables to accommodate our large party of 7. The soups are very flavorful with a wide variety of sides and meat! Our server was amazing! I wish I would have caught her name! Their sauce counter had more selection than most places I've seen. Wonderful dinner to feed a large party! Definitely recommend this place!

There's not many hot pot spots near Kailua, but luckily this place does it well. The meats are good cuts and the broths are flavorful. The sauce and topping bar has many options and even a small list of recommendations for your chosen meats/veggies. Service is very fast, friendly, and attentive. Overall this a nice casual restaurant for some food hot pot. The price point is a bit high (spent $89+ tip for 2 ppl) considering we stuck to broth, meat, veggies, and water. Although considering the food quality is higher than some ayce places, it's worth it. They also have a stamp card program for return customers. With such a convenient location, ample parking, friendly staff, and delicious food, we'll definitely continue to visit!

Hot pot heaven is perfect on a rainy day... or any day. Choice of broth, pick your ingredients... eat a lot or just a little. Love the homemade dumplings and the nice assortment of veggies, starches and meats. Kim is amazing! The restaurant is so nice and clean and all of the food is so delicious! Great selection of Fresh everything... first time here and it's a gotta return kind of experience.

The selection & customer service is superb ! Prices are high but you get what you pay for. Will come back again.

Thai Broth and Miso Broth (after putting in food)
    Lily P.

I just came here for a visit with my family of five, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food! This place is pay-per-plate (not all you can eat), and the total for our party of five ended up being around $85 before tip. We got the Thai Broth at level 5/10 spice and the Miso Broth (not spicy). Most of the party enjoyed the Thai Broth more, but the Miso is also great and preferable for people who do not want spice. Both broths already came with a few additions to the soup. For example, the miso had some tofu and seaweed in it. For meats, we enjoyed the ribeye more than the brisket, but both were good. We also ordered chicken breast and shrimp (comes whole and in the shell). We also got lots of yummy veggies and fresh noodles from the self-serve fridge. Honestly, I like this restaurant more than Shabuya at Ala Moana Mall. The broth here was rich and flavorful, the meats were good quality, and the restaurant had a small homely feel. Our server was very friendly and helped walk my parents through what to do since it was their first time at a hot pot restaurant. I look forward to returning in the future!

We may not have, had more places been open. It's been years, like 10 or more since I've been there and last time was not impressed like, AT ALL. Just haven't been back. Since then it's changed ownership. Bottom line... Now? We'll def be back! Food = Delicious Server = Great Ambiance = Artsy vibe, good music & kickback. Started with the escargot special & calamari. Was afraid I would be disappointed on the calamari because Buzzes style has always been my fav. Must say, completely different but really quite good in its own right. Love the spicy! Was thinking the escargot would be waaaay too garlicky & salty like some I've had but it was pretty perfect. Both winners! Ditto on the mains. My filet and husbands steak were cooked to THE perfect med-rare. Daughter raved about her rigatoni sausage pasta, like more than once. I ordered a glass of Meiomi Pinot - was pleasantly surprised on the solid pour, not a little dinky one like some places do. Husband had a sip and decided he wanted one too. It paired perfect with our steaks. Yup, we'll be back when husband is off on another Saturday night and we'll come a little later to catch the live music! Wish I woulda captured more photos!

I walked in expecting a meal and was greeted with one of the most insulting experiences I've ever had as a customer. The restaurant was COMPLETELY EMPTY. Not a single customer inside. The man at the front looked at me and said, "Sorry, you can't eat here if you're single." I thought he was joking. He wasn't. Because I didn't have a girlfriend, wife, or friend with me, I was told I could not be seated. He actually said it was their "rule," and if he DID allow me to eat there alone, he would have to charge me MORE. Read that again: they were willing to turn away a paying customer from an empty restaurant simply because I came by myself. I have never experienced a business that treats single people as second-class customers. Apparently your money is only good enough if you arrive attached to another person. So if you're traveling alone, recently divorced, widowed, working nearby, or simply want to enjoy a meal by yourself, don't expect to be treated like a normal customer here. An empty restaurant, a willing customer, and they still refused service because I was alone. Absolutely shameful.

We were very pleased with our waiter, Isaiah. He was friendly, professional, and had expert knowledge about the food and menu. Because it was our first time, his recommendations were key in helping us navigate our order. Heres what we had... Potato salad (small) The potato salad was good. It was about 2 parts potato salad and one part green salad underneath. The salad dressing was very good and we got it on the side. Tsukune The famous tsukune was very delicious. I am used to the yakitori style, where you are served various cuts of chicken. The skewers here are made of ground chicken, which actually isn't a bad thing. Forgive the analogy, but I will use whiskey because it's the closest and example I can think of.... A glass of single barrel whiskey or a single malt scotch can be very delicious, but a blend, while a mix of different whiskies, can also be magical. Tsukune could be viewed as a lesser product next to select cuts of chicken, but in fact, it was quite fluffy and juicy. Very addictive. There were a few different flavors available, and we tried the teriyaki and stuffed shitake. The teriyaki was our favorite. The sauce made it rich and delicious...I can eat a lot of these...and we did. The stuffed shitake was ok. We added a red miso paste sauce, and it definitely made it taste better We also had a grilled onigiri rice ball. This was done right....with crispiness on both sides. It could have been a little crispier, but most people dont like the black char on their rice ball..lol We also tried the grilled crispy burger. This came out on a sizzling platter with a fried egg, onions, and green peppers. I liked this dish. The patty wasn't as crispy as I wanted, but the flavor was rich and deep. I resisited the urge to dump rice on the sizzling platter and chop everything up to make fried rice! Overall, we had a nice dining experience. We will be back to try additional menu items.

We were seated pretty promptly at a table but it does look like the have a bar and floor/tatami style seating as well. The menu is pretty extensive so there are a lot of choices from robata style food to sushi to kamameshi. Just be sure to order your kamameshi at the beginning of your meal as it does take some time to cook. We started with the potato salad, which turned out to have quite bit of lettuce under it so it was almost a legit salad. Arabiki sausage which is always a good choice to me. Fries which I felt could have used more salt but came out piping hot. The fired cheese was an interesting item, I'm glad we tried it but don't think I'd order it again. Of course we got tsukune (I mean it's literally in the name). You have to get at least 2 of each flavor so we only tried the goma and yuzu daikon. We got the tenmusu which unexpectedly came with 4 large onigiri. And we finished up with the scallop and mushroom kamameshi. Service was pretty slow but they did seem understaffed. So just be patient. All the food was flavorful and filling. Overall a pleasant meal.
