Dog was in the food prep area.  Is that code ?

I love hot dogs and polish sausage and this place had both. Young lady was friendly and helpful so no complaints. You have to realize this is a hot dog place in a hallway. Basically a food truck minus the wheels You sit at tables in the hallway- The only water they serve is out of o bottle but the fact the dogs are grilled makes it worth it -nice and crisp - a crunch when you bite in to it I am not happy that they have a dog in the food prep area.

My boyfriend and I frequent this place A lot. And I mean A LOT. Living in federal way, it's about a fifteen minute drive to get to the place not including finding parking. But i think it's worth it, especially during a relaxing weekend. But i enjoy getting their Beef Kosher dogs, with cream cheese, and sauerkraut. Oh gosh. Yum. not only is the location right near all the museums (so it's a great place to grab a quick bite to each if you're hitting up all the artsy-ness of Tacoma), but it's RIGHT NEXT TO HELLO, CUPCAKE! [SEE PAST HELLO CUPCAKE REVIEW] Hooray for hotdogs. They're also vegetarian friendly also, as I've heard their Tofu-dogs are "actually REALLY yummy." [quoted]

Hands down some of THE best dogs I've had in a long, long time. The chili is cooked fresh and the kosher dogs will rock your socks off.

Spent 20 minutes looking for this place, called several times no answer. Complete waste of time, hungry and upset.

Absolutely the Best Hot Dog I've Ever Had!…read more I have to say, these were hands-down the best hot dogs I've ever tried in my entire life! I've had hot dogs in New York, Germany, and plenty of other places, but these were absolutely terrific. The prices are reasonable, the store was clean and welcoming, and the employees were fantastic. Everyone had a smile on their face, and they were so friendly they actually made me laugh. You can tell they really care about making your experience a good one. They also have a great variety to choose from. I honestly feel like you made my day! The next time I'm out and about, I'll definitely be heading back for another one of those fabulous hot dogs. And by the way, the parking is great, which is always a bonus! If you want to try something fantastic, give this place a try. This is not your normal hot dog -- it's something special! So, from this Yelp reviewer: five stars all the way! I hope you get lots and lots of people coming through your doors, because you've definitely earned it.

This is the first time I've had a Korean Hotdog so I didn't know what to expect. I was asked if I wanted it topped with Sugar. There's also an option for Crumbled Spicy Hot Cheetos. My husband enjoyed his spicy hot dog. I do want to go back and try their cheese dogs. Overall, it's worth a try!

I'm always humbled by the people who seem to have a natural gift for connecting with others, and the man at the grill that day showed my son an incredible act of kindness that I want to share. My son was having a rough day, so he sat down on the curb to cool off while we waited for our hot dog. The man at the grill noticed and asked for his help. My son immediately jumped up, handed me his bag, and told me he needed to help with the stand. And just like that, his whole mood changed - he had a purpose, he got to be part of something. With that one simple act of kindness, this man completely turned my son's day around and gave me a new parenting lesson in the process. In that moment, my kid didn't need a pep talk; he needed a chance to contribute and feel needed. This man saw that and chose to engage and I am so grateful he did. To the man at the Big Dawgs stand: thank you for noticing and engaging with my kid, your generosity, and for being an active part of our community. I wouldn't say that the service was particularly "fast", but the drive thru was packed and the young workers that so could see were all working quickly and really professional and friendly. We ordered a double kraut & mustard meal- which was as it should be, fries were ok, but it was the Polish sandwich that was reminiscent of childhood kolbassy sandwiches in Pittsburgh. The flavorful slightly spicy sausage had very little fat, it was sliced in half, served on thick slices of soft rye seeded bread, with a thin layer of mustard, slice of cheese and a crisp dill pickle. It was heavenly- I'm sorry that I didn't snap a photo. I just read online that they are known for the shakes- which no doubt we would've also enjoyed. The Dawg Eat Dog food truck is an absolute must-try!…read more When I review hot dogs around the country, I'm always searching for vendors who understand the true art of serving a great hot dog. For me, the gold standard is simple: a hot dog that reminds me of that first grilled dog at a family BBQ--perfect char, served hot, and not buried under a mountain of toppings. One thing I'll never understand is boiled hot dogs. Boiling strips away flavor. If you're a hot dog vendor, take notes from Dawg Eat Dog and step up your game. What impressed me? They grilled the hot dog. They toasted the bun. The dog was hot and flavorful. I suspect they may steam the hot dogs before grilling, which is actually a smart move for food trucks because it reduces wait times while still serving a hot product. Whatever they're doing, it works. I found Dawg Eat Dog at Sumner Rhubarb Days, and after one bite, they jumped straight to #2 on my Best Hot Dog List. Now, for full disclosure, the #1 spot is still held by Smokey Joe's Hot Dogs LLC in Peoria, Arizona. I can say that confidently because I owned that stylish shipping container restaurant myself! And before anyone asks, my personal favorite hot dog of all time is still the 7-Eleven Spicy Bite eaten completely naked--no condiments. Sometimes simplicity wins. If you're still searching for your go-to hot dog, use Dawg Eat Dog as your benchmark for what a quality hot dog experience should be. Great flavor, great execution, and a great example of how hot dogs are supposed to be served. Nick's Hot Dog Rating: Char: 9/10 Bun: 9/10 Flavor: 9/10 Overall Experience: 9/10 Bottom Line: You won't be disappointed. #DawgEatDog #HotDogReview #SumnerRhubarbDays #GrilledNotBoiled #HotDogLife #FoodTruckFinds #NicksHotDogReviews

I went with a Seattle dog because I love cream cheese and it was great! They also had a variety of sauces out for you to customize your hot dog as well as jalepeno slices but it was difficult to open the containers for jalepenos and relish, ect.
