Was just driving by Canyon Rd in Puyallup and this food truck was outside McLendon hardware and I thought today seems like a great day for a hot dog. I went with a Seattle dog because I love cream cheese and it was great! The only thing that could have made it better would be if they had some sliced tomatoes you could add on... well I also think it would be great with a little chili but I prefer chili with beans and their chili is an all meat chili so I didn't go that route. They also had a variety of sauces out for you to customize your hot dog as well as jalepeno slices but it was difficult to open the containers for jalepenos and relish, ect. My son and I waited for 45 minutes to eat at the 4th of July festival and when we got to the table to order, they decided to tell everyone in line who patiently waited that they were closing 25 minutes early in order to facilitate closing by 8 o'clock. Went to Tacoma's Flower and Garden Festival in Pt. Defiance Park. This vendor was one of the food vendors at the event. Walked up to the tent and encountered two friendly staff. Decided to try the Tacoma Dog, peanut butter , bacon and the hotdog! It was amazing!!! Who would have thought peanut butter with a hot dog! Loved it! Highly recommend it. Got the chance to try Dawg Eat Dogs this past weekend at the Fife Harvest Festival, and wow, yum!! First off, props to the owner (that's who I assume was working the hot dog stand) for manning the crowd on his own! It wasn't too busy when we were in line, but he was doing the cooking & taking orders all by himself. There was a little bit of a wait, but considering he was a one-man show, it wasn't bad at all. It was a toss up for me between getting a chili dog or a Seattle dog, but I had to go with the Seattle dog. As I expected, it was delicious! It was topped with the perfect amount of grilled onions and he didn't skimp on the cream cheese. The ratio was perfect. It was a little messy, but it was so good. This only got 1 star because I couldn't leave zero. They were catering an event with maybe 300 people and it took us over 3 hours to get our food. I'm sorry but this is the worst service and lack of planning I have ever experienced. Dinner was supposed to be at 5 and it's now after 8 and we're still waiting.
