If I could only give this place 0 stars. I bought a phone three weeks ago, they assured me it was "new." First of all, the tall guy with the beard is super nice when it comes to selling his shitty phones, you go ask him for a return or a warranty, he turns into the most arrogant/rude person ever. Anyhow, I left the store with the phone and went back to the store to return it 5 minutes later, such rude person obviously did not give me my money back even though I HAD JUST GOTTEN THE PHONE 5 MINUTES AGO! at that point I'm like whatever, he might need the money more than I do. I go home, open the phone and WHAT A RIPOFF. The phone came with no headphones and a CHEAP Samsung charger, mind you, the phone was not a Samsung. I didn't even bother to go back to that craphole, I ended up selling that piece of garbage on eBay. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO BUY AN UNLOCKED "NEW" PHONE, THAT IS NOT THE PLACEEEE!!!!! I stopped at three other phone repair shops walking to Hot Spot Wireless and the other places quoted me $45 for a iPhone charging connector and $45 for a new iPhone 6 battery. That would be a total of $90. They also said it would take an hour. Hot Spot Wireless Electronics quoted me $40 for the charging connector and $30 for the replacement battery over the phone and the price did not change upon my arrival. They did the work in front of me within 5 minutes. My total cost for both an iPhone 6 charging connector and battery was $74.90 including tax. The Apple store wanted $79 for just the battery. I felt very comfortable having Hot Spot Wireless work on my phone and would strongly recommend them. read more

Don't ever purchase from this vendor! They don't offer any refunds on items they sell that are not compatible to authentic brands and sold me merchandise that wasn't authentic brand name or compatibility with my cell phone. When the salesperson attempted to convenience me that my credit/atm had to be processed as an ATM card, I should have not purchased the product. I had came to there store (8/17/17) to purchase a cell phone battery to replace my old one. The light skin Latino looking male behind the counter (who seem to be acting like the assistant manager or lead salesperson) instructed the other male salesperson to assist me. In turn, the guy searched through batteries and found one to insert inside my phone. He had shown the battery to the guy who acted as the assistant manager or supervisor. His supervisor told him to make sure you charged it to insure it's the right battery. At the time he said such, the salesman said it's already charged as my phone began to come back on. At that point, both his supervisor and the salesperson stated it's the right battery. However, the battery only had a little charge of 15% and it required me to charge once reaching my destination. When I attempted to charge the phone, my cell phone immediately displayed the icon of the battery not being authentic and failure to charge. On 8/18/17, at approximately 3:50pm, I returned back to the store and alerted them to the wrong battery was sold to me as well as stating my phone displayed the icon confirming such. The initial salesperson who sold me the battery wasn't present but the guy who acted as his supervisor was present. Again, he directed another salesperson to assist me. This salesperson looked at the battery and he noticed it was the wrong battery model number sold to me. This was after he looked at my original old battery. He takes the initial battery purchased back and starts thumbing through the stock of batteries. To make a long story short, they refused to refund me a credit. They attempted to get force me purchase a product. Then, the sales supervisor tells me "Oh, we can order the right one and you can come back for it." I told them "Look, you sold me the wrong merchandise and I am not even from this area. You want to try ordering something; that will take a week and I am leaving from here come Tuesday. You owe me a refund." The sales guy says to me "I'm not the boss and can't give you a refund." I asked who's the boss and he points to the salesperson who appears to act as the supervisor/manager. I told to him and he plays a game like he's not the head person. He starts telling me about his manager isn't going to give a refund. We don't offer refund only exchanges. We sold you the right battery type but some Verizon phones our battery won't work. I've never had this happen before and you're the first case. That battery fitted your phone and that means it's the right battery" I told him "well, now you've run into it with my phone and it's because this isn't the right battery. This isn't a case of me not liking something. It's a case of you selling me a fake product and I am owed a refund." Again, the sales supervisor says to me "We can't treat you different than another customer. My boss has never given anyone a refund." I replied, "You ever heard of consumer fraud law? This is a case and it is the law to not commit fraud on a customer." At this point, the sales supervisor tries to intimidate me by saying the following "Look this is Elizabeth and my boss doesn't have to give you a refund. You can get the police and he still won't do anything." At this point, I told him, "I will handle this the legal route." I had taken my old battery with me. The arrogant sales guy yells back "Do you have your battery?" He mumbled something else but I didn't bother responding further. So people, don't ever purchase from these guys. read more

i purchased an iphone there for my daughter on my way to see my god mother before she passed away from stage four breast cancer and was told that the iphone was unlocked. although i am not from new jersey and live almost 5 hours away, i decided to trust them being that not only was the phone a good deal but that i didn't think they would just lie about something as simple as the phone being unlocked. not only was the phone not unlocked it turns out that the phone was actually stolen and unuthorized to be used on any other network besides the one it was actually locked to for over 12 months as it was under a lease agreement! so the hot spot is purchasing stolen merchadise and selling it to unsuspecting innocent single mothers attempting to save money!!! well they have the wrong one because i will be contacting the massachusetts and new jersey attorney generals, district attorneys, federal trade commissions and better business bureaus, along with anyone else i can think of, ok i will probably contact fox news, too. i want a refund!!! read more
