Very good! Honestly, if I didn't already know, I would have never guessed the cinnamon rolls were vegan. In fact, everything here is. I have been driving past this location since it opened and with the parking and not early morning hours just have never been able to go. I walked in and told the attendant that I was looking for the best cinnamon roll. Although she had limited English she was helpful and recommended the old school roll. The person working there was very friendly and answered questions easily. I picked out two delicious choices. I picked the banana pancakes roll, which is pancake frosting. Topped with banana bread bites fresh banana slices, blueberries maple syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar absolutely amazing that's banana bread. I am definitely coming back to purchase by itself. I also purchased the caramel apple pie roll minus the pecans. It looks delicious and the apple is diced up into very small pieces. I will definitely be back. As a fan of Cinnaholic and a frequent visitor to the original Berkeley location since 2010 and subsequent locations thereafter, I know and love the Cinnaholic brand. This is a new location. The rolls weren't as buttery, soft, and irresistible as Cinnaholic rolls are known to be. I agree with another reviewer who stated that they tasted undercooked. I tried the Peach Cobbler roll and the Pineapple Upside Down roll on the first visit. On the second, I got a BYO along with a Campfire cookie. Each time the rolls, although good, were missing the Cinnaholic "wow" factor. I wonder if the owner includes a personal visit in her franchise packages. I also wonder if the individual franchisees ever visited the original location to taste how the rolls should taste. Just something for consideration for the longevity of the brand. Pleasantly surprised would have to be how I described my visit at Cinnaholic to be. We came near closing time, so no one else was there-and quickly ordered and got our roll. My wife and I split a berry cinnamon roll. I knew beforehand that this place was vegan, so honestly didn't know what to expect with taste/quality. I was definitely surprised. The cinnamon roll had a good flavor, and I definitely could taste the cinnamon in it (without being too powerful). The berries on top added just enough sweetness when combined with the icing. My two complaints of the place, leading to the four stars. The cinnamon roll was room temperature- kinda disappointed it wasn't warmer (I guess that's what I get for coming near closing time). Second complaint is the lack of inside seating. We had to eat the roll in our car which made things a little more difficult than if we were able to eat inside the store-I understand the inside of the store is tight but think that a small table and chairs could be added if rearranged a little. The staff was occupied, I'm assuming with an online order, but got to greeting us after she was done. We elected to try out the very berry roll. It was good, and I definitely enjoyed the cake batter icing on top. It was just room temperature though. This could just be because they were closing in an hour, but I feel like the roll would have been much better warm. They have their signature cinnamon rolls or you can create your own. (Be careful toppings add up quickly). They come out warm and delicious. The staff is very helpful and patient. I definitely needed it when I couldn't decide what treat to indulge in. They have prepackaged cookies right there and ready to go and even some treats you can order ahead for a special event. I believe they had ice cream as well, but we didn't try those--yet. My husband loves himself some snickerdoodle cookies and is particular about where he gets his. Wanted these to be amazing but alas the cinnamon rolls were just ok. We also ordered a s'mores cookie which was a little dry, 2 brownies and 2 hot chocolates that we both felt had an overwhelming cinnamon flavor. The service was great and the shop is very cute but we were also disappointed that there was nowhere to sit at a table to eat our desserts. Very strange? There are multiple small cushions to sit on but no tables and chairs to sit and eat. This is a neat little shop located in a strip mall. It just recently opened. The front of the shop is along the sidewalk facing the street. There is a lot of parking available in the strip mall parking lot that it shares with the other businesses, but there is not any spots that are really close. The shop is very clean and trendy. It is also wide open because they do not have any indoor seating. There is only a little bench sitting out front for you to sit on. The shop sells exotic cinnamon rolls and cookie dough. They are strictly vegan. But do not confuse that with gluten free. They have gluten for days. You can choose from their signature flavors or you can create your own. I was not in a creative mood, so I got some of their signature creations. I decided to go with the cookies and cream and a carnival (without the popcorn). Other signature rolls include Tropical Bliss, Boo, Cookie Monster, Salted Elvis, Confetti and Pumpkin Spice. The staff there was so friendly. The woman working the register had so much personality and was so very helpful. It took about 5 to 10 minutes for them to prepare my 3 rolls. They were smelling real good in the passenger seat of my car as I drove home. I ate the strawberries and cream and it was very good. My littles ate the Carnival flavor and they had no complaints, and they are very picky eaters. I will admit that the rolls are a bit on the pricey side, but I think they are worth it. This place has first class service and delicious treats. What more could you ask for? I recommend giving this place a try and treating yourself to a special treat. read more

The cinnamon rolls are A-OK! I love that the cinnamon rolls and desserts at Cinnaholic are vegan, egg-free and dairy-free. And for a vegan dessert, these cinnamon rolls are good. I am also a big fan of the idea that more people with food restrictions can enjoy a tasty dessert. I remember a time when one of my children was sensitive to eggs when they were young. Finding sweet treats without eggs was very difficult. But as a person who is neither vegan nor dairy-free, the cinnamon rolls are just OK. I tried four different kinds: the Old Skool (original), Cookie Monster (cream cheese frosting, cookie dough, chocolate chips and chocolate sauce), Sparkle Berry (chocolate frosting, strawberries and sprinkles), and the Campfire S'mores (marshmallow frosting, graham cookies, marshmallows and chocolate sauce). I cut them all into four pieces, because each cinnamon roll is huge. I measured them, and they're about 4 inches across and 2 inches thick. Of the four cinnamon rolls that we got, the only one my family enjoyed eating was the Old Skool. Even then, we all agreed that we've had better plain cinnamon rolls. We also agreed that the cinnamon rolls were too sweet, and had too much stuff on them. And looking at the nutrition information of the cinnamon rolls, some of them are more than 1,000 calories each! (The Old Skool is 730 calories, which is one of the less calorie-dense options, but is still high up there.) I get it that cinnamon rolls are an indulgence, but jeez. Each roll is about $7 to $8, too, so these are definitely a special treat when it comes to calories and price. Also: You need to bring your patience when you visit Cinnaholic. I got there on a Tuesday, right when they opened at 10 a.m., and it took me 45 minutes from the time I stepped inside the door until I left with my four cinnamon rolls. Perhaps this is because they've only been open about a month? Maybe they're still getting into a rhythm? Whatever the reason, be prepared to wait a while. read more

We visited our first Cinnaholic while in Atlanta so we are so so so happy to now have one in Indy!!! First off, it's all vegan! Our family is vegan-ish, we try to cook a lot of plant based meals at home, but we give ourselves some grace, especially when dinning out. It's great that we have a dessert spot to pick when we want to stay on the vegan trail! Portions are huge! And you can also chose your own toppings, or select some pre-creations that are equally delicious! Make sure to you sign up for text or emails to get deals! That's a must! Also, parking and location wise...Cinnaholic is right next to Panera in Carmel, but depending on which direction you drive in from, you won't see the store front sign which caused us some confusion. Basically park at the Panera and walk around because Cinnaholic will be a store on the side of the building. Almost forgot to mention, they have Dole Whip too! Was finally able to come in! The first time we tried it was their grand opening so of course they were packed, but we did not expect them to be SO packed that the line was WELL down the street even. They have some rolls that are just ridiculously stacked with cookies and other toppings which is insane, but they also have create your own. They have much more than cinnamon rolls. They have banana bread, cookies and brownies. Dole whip even. Anything that is too overly stacked or stuffed is a bit overpowering, naturally. The 4 that we got Coffee Craze, crème brûlée, banana crème and a Sprinkle a Bon or something. The service is great, friendly smiling faces. As for the taste... mmmm tastes kinda artificial and just not very good. Way overly priced also. Each roll is about $8 and mini's are $5. Also takes quite a bit to make a costimazed order. I was ok with this because there were so many options to choose from in regards to toppings. I decided to go with the Very Berry cinnamon roll. They put the toppings on made to order so it's not like there are dozens of these waiting to be served pre-made. The cinnamon roll itself was soft, warm and tasted like it was just made fresh that same day. I ended up eating part of my cinnamon roll as soon as I got it and saved the rest for later. It was still just as good later in the day as it was when I had first purchased it. The cinnamon roll I purchased was just under $9, which seems a bit high for a single cinnamon roll. However, I would consider this a fun, boutique type cinnamon roll; something I would splurge for on occasion. They had a variety of other, non cinnamon roll offerings as well as some catering options. The icing is good but the cinnamon roll itself lacked flavor, very pale and clearly lacking cinnamon throughout the bun. I was also a bit put off by the doughy, raw texture. The brownie was good flavor wise but the texture was more of a crumbly cake. I actually didn't realize it was vegan till after I tried what I got and came to leave a review. But now the textures make sense as does some of the flavors. I wish there had been some signs in store stating it was vegan. It's not that, and maybe they did me a solid by making it wrong because it's delicious so it's a lemon flavor with pie crust and graham crackers. I'm not mad at it.
