A perfect cold treat on a warm day. They are generous with the beans and toppings and the price is reasonable for the amount and quality. For both drinks, I believe she paid around $15 and we place our order using the convenient kiosk. I also found black sesame rice roll snacks there so I was happy about that too. They have a specific area for lining up for the cash registers so just look for the sign. Definitely will be coming back soon!

I didn't quite explore the entire supermarket but it was larger than I thought it would be (based on reading past reviews.) You can't really compare this to the bigger establishments like Seafood City or 99 Ranch or whatever - but from my vantage point they had a wide variety of food. The line threw me off a bit because it starts way in the corner near the produce section. I honestly didn't know if I was in line for the cashiers or the section where they serve cooked food haha. But overall, my experience was fine - I found what I needed, and now know of a store within a short drive when I move to this area and need ingredients that aren't normally found in regular supermarkets.

I like the less spicy classic dishes found in northern Indian cuisine. Truth be told the most delicious and elegant Indian restaurant food I've eaten is in a myriad of places in London England. Anyway I stopped in here to wander through the entire market to see what's on the shelves, freezers, fridges and produce cabinets. I bought a dozen items. The prices are on par or even a little lower than other Indian markets in Roseville. Fresh turmeric rhizomes at $5.99 pound is 70% cheaper than Safeway. I gave just a sideways glance at the bakery and kitchen area. I will return soon to sample a lunch plate. I'll write an update after that meal.

Fried garlic crunch. Instant noodles. More pickles and shrimp cake in the fridge. These are not things you'll find in the nearby major Asian supermarket. And if you find yourself with too much fermented tea leaf at once, well, I have sesame dressing at home, and my go to is noodles dressed with the sesame dressing for a good base flavor, with the laphet added for a twang in the flavor, and cilantro added for freshness. Because they sell laphet by the bag on the shelf, and that's a lot, but they also sell them in packet bundles on the stand near the door, and the packets are super powerful, at least when you're cooking for just a bachelor.

I buy the ingredients here. It's the closest Indian grocery to my house. The shop is clean. Staffed by friendly if painfully shy employees. The selection of goods is not overwhelming like in the giant Indian supermarkets of Berkeley or Los Angeles. I can always find what I need here at Bharat. The fresh produce section is small. The vegetables are usually pretty fresh. I buy fresh turmeric root here for 70% less money than Safeway. My guilty pleasure purchases here are in the freezer section. The samosas, biriyanis, roti, parottas, naan, kulchas call to me. Not the healthiest of items, but certainly better than American factory made breads. If you are from the sub-continent and live on this side of Roseville, you probably know this store. I actually prefer this store over the Reliance market on Fairway.
