Stayed here for a 3 day 2 night stay over Labor Day weekend with my husband, in a single king bed room. Cost was $580 to book, however we booked with 47,000 Chase points through the Chase portal. Pros: - They usually offer a free airport shuttle, but because it wasn't running, they actually reimbursed the cost of the uber we took from the airport to the hotel! - GREAT location: we didn't come with a rental car and didn't need one - it was walking distance or to a bunch of food places and bars, including Pie Hole, Yoi Tomo AYCE sushi, Western Proper, Boise Fry company, the art museum, the Basque street, you name it. Pretty much prime downtown location close to everything, and only like a less than 15 min ride to the airport - Ask for free tickets to the Boise Art Museum! $6 value each haha - GREAT sun-blocking curtains if you want to sleep in - Amazing selection of TV channels - Pretty comfortable bed - The shower had the best water pressure I've experienced at a hotel so far - We didn't utilize this benefit but they have complimentary bikes to borrow - All the staff were very professional. Cons: - Thankfully I didn't pay the full price for this hotel - but based on the amenities, it feels like it should have been in the $400 range for a 2 night stay, not $500. I definitely would not have stayed here if I had to pay the full $580. - NO complimentary breakfast options, not even like a grab and go donut kind of thing. There is a convenient cafe downstairs but you do have to pay. - Our fridge seemed like it didn't have a good seal, and wasn't keeping our takeout leftovers very cold. - No microwave in room, kind of inconvenient if you want to heat up leftovers. - Kind of markets itself as a one of a kind luxury boutique hotel, but I would say it was more average and just gets the job done (not a bad thing, but a little on the pricier side). Overall, 10/10 would stay here again if booked with points and didn't have a rental car. It does give you the convenience of being close to literally everything if you're a fan of walking. Things that could make it better would be breakfast, better room amenities. Overall a solid 4 stars.

Wondering why they call it 43. This cute boutique hotel is pretty much in the heart of downtown. Easy to get to places. Plenty of restaurant and bars. I heard the bar in the hotel is actually a classy club too. The lobby is super nice. Layout is very balanced. Couches and tables and cool pendulum chandeliers. Elevators are right there by the lobby as well, so you dont have to go through a maze to look for it. The rooms are pretty good. The one I got wasnt the biggest, bit it was enough. Its complete with lights, night stands even a sit down chair is you're feeling like doing some reading. A TV on top of a dresser. Cool feature on the window is that you're able to open a vent so you can let some fresh boise air in. I love the stuffed bear toy on the bed. Gives it a really cute touch. If you wanna take it home, it's around $35. My stay here was definitely enjoyable. I would come back and stay here again. Thank you much for reading my review. I hope this helps with your decision making experience. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!

Small lobby, awkward valet/pickup drop off area... not the impressed with the room myself... but my out of town guest loved his large windows & second story views. Convenient Boise location... would be good for JUMP events...

    mediocre.

disappointed in this hotel. came for a "stay-cation" with my hubby and when I booked this place I thought we were picking something special. it is a boutique hotel above the nicest restaurant in town (chandlers) so obviously it's going to be nice, right? um no. it's small, and you can tell it used to be yuck before they slapped some new paint on it and called it luxury. the staff were not friendly when we arrived (accept for the bell hop, he was friendly.) and they barely even looked up when we checked in. let me just say, if they try to give you room 208, 209, or 210- do not accept. we arrived in our TINY room (this is a king room?) to the lovely view of the AC units which are covered in weird paint and moss. i'm sure the hotel was not completely booked up (this is covid times) so these rooms should be a last resort situation for putting guests in when they are full. we booked this room A MONTH AGO. i'm not looking for the best room, but this was just weird to me. overall, our stay was disappointing. we should have just booked the grove. I think if you're traveling for work from the airport and want a centrally located place downtown with a good restaurant downstairs, this is the place for you. don't come here for romance.

Booked a room for one night, paid almost $500 for no bathtub or balcony, underwhelming decor, no swimming pool, not even a complimentary breakfast. We were denied a refund or upgrade. Should've come with free dinner from Chandler's for such a high price- take your business elsewhere, folks!

This is how the cleaning staff leave you towels.

The room was way more swanky than anything we ever stay in, but even my husband commented on how nice it was, and he isn't usually impressed with hotels. You could sleep in the shower with how much space there was. The ambiance definitely matched all the things I had heard about it - very industrial meets modern in a thoughtful way. And don't sleep on Blue Collar Coffee or the rooftop bar, if even for just the view of the foothills. You can't beat the location either - it's walkable to everything but just outside the true heart of downtown where it gets busier. Rooftop was amazing and what a view. We also made reservations at the Supper Club and it too was incredible. Service was impeccable while not being overbearing. The food was amazing and very fairly priced. Cannot wait to go back and eat more off the menu. Overall, I cannot believe there is a better hotel to stay at in Boise. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a "staycation" at the Renegade.

I was in town to assist our new Community Ambassador at her debut Yelp Elite Event, and wanted to get a feel for the city. The Inn at 500 was the perfect choice, as it's right downtown and in the heart of the action - not to mention, walking distance to some great little shops, coffee shops, and even Trader Joe's. I arrived via Uber and was immediately impressed by their bright, colorful lobby. This hotel is known for amazing light fixtures and lots of whimsical art - and they didn't disappoint. Everywhere I looked, there was something beautiful to see. I was warmly greeted at the front desk, including a complimentary beer (or wine) as I checked in! There are also unlimited snacks, bottled water, and a few other refreshments available during your entire stay. I may or may not have grabbed a bag of Frito's and a granola bar to take to my room for late night snacking. My room was fresh and clean, with an eclectic Shakespearean-style nook above the king bed. The entire space was lovely, including a nice work area and plenty of places to plug in and charge up. There was even a fireplace, although the weather was too warm to actually use it. Before heading out to our event at a local brewery, I even got to enjoy a terrific happy hour in their on-site restaurant, Hemlock. And in the morning, I ordered a delish room service breakfast before catching my flight back to Seattle. This was a great experience and I can't wait to go back during my next trip to Boise!

We check-in and are invited to the happy hour. Awesome! We hope to order a beer and enjoy our food when a woman comes over and says that the health department will not allow us to eat our own food on our own plates and cutlery on the patio and that they would be shut down if they allowed it. When we ask where we could eat, she directs us to the street or our room. Our room only had a single chair and a thin rail, no proper dining setup. The patio was empty save for 2 tables but they couldn't stand to share the patio with hotel guests. The place was otherwise nice but the treatment soured our experience. I strongly suspect the health department would take no issue with our enjoyment of the patio.

My least favorite thing, breakfast. Blaah! I've generally stayed at Hilton garden inns where you get a real breakfast served to you. Sorry, but this breakfast was not great, in fact, just not good. I'm sure convenience is its appeal to business travelers, but if quality or taste are your things, just skip it. We walked down about 8:45 (it runs from 6-10) and the place looked like a hurricane had hit it.
