Please note, this is just our experience and I will say that the hotel does go out of its way to let you know that it can be noisy at night. We may have just had an extreme experience due to it being "Drake" night, but the room vibrates until very late. So do take note of the sound warning. We were there Friday night. That said, every thing else was great. The bed was super comfortable, I loved the decor and layout of the room, and as noted by the hotel, the bathroom was newly renovated and lovely. Location wise, it is perfect and a fun neighborhood to explore. We used it as a simple overnight to catch the Clipper to Victoria and it was a straight walk down hill to the clipper ferry - maybe 10 mins walk. We did bump into the staff and they were super nice and friendly. Lovely place and location, but the loud and vibrating music during our stay was a little more than anticipated. As an additional comment, if you are attending a show, then this is the place for you. Clearly the music will have finished when you crash for the evening.

I booked a room at the hotel since I was seeing a show in the attached venue that night and it has spoiled me for any other event! So convenient! Great communication before I arrived. I was emailed and sent a text with instructions. Basically the hotel is on the second floor with a flight a stairs above the music venue. You are given a code that allows you access into the hotel and your room. No front desk employee but there is a number you can contact for help. Only 19 rooms with a pink and black decor, very comfortable and spacious. A lounge area and candy when I arrived at the lobby. A small room is available to pick up extra towels, lotion, fill water, borrow an iron, toilet paper etc. A microwave was nearby and I think complimentary coffee available in the mornings. If you book a room you can access tickets to that nights show. I heard soundcheck and while earplugs were provided I didn't use them. Simply go downstairs walk a few feet and access security check and or the box office for entry. On the night I visited a merch area, a large bar and even a water station was available. You can order food in the venue but I didn't this time. Plenty of cool nearby bars, restaurants and shops in the area. I took the Link which is like a monorail from the airport which is about a 15 minute walk away, one way ticket is $3. Incredible stay in an incredible city I would highly recommend! Thanks!

Left a review for the venue not realizing this was split... but here goes... Bought tickets for a show and didn't realize there was a hotel attached to the venue. Looking for a hotel nearby, figured out that this is bundled with the Crocodile music venue as well as an assortment of other venues. Staying here the night of the show was the best choice we could have made. The room was super cool and chic, and the lobby bar area was also a cool vibe. It was clean, comfortable, and could not have been more convenient. Check in is more like an Air BnB than a hotel. You get a code sent to you that lets you access the hotel and your room. There is not traditional front lobby or bell staff, although they offer to assist with luggage if needed (must carry up two flights of stairs). We actually really enjoyed this as it was super easy to just go to our room. The one thing I wish was stated clearly (I missed it if it was) is that the room will not self lock when you leave. Easy enough to twist knob on the way out, but almost left our room unlocked on accident. The room is decent sized and the bed was comfortable. Most importantly, everything was very clean!!! Nothing felt grimy, all the linens were clean, and it there were no smells or anything off putting. The lobby has a bar and the staff was kind and pricing very fair (cheaper than the Grand Hyatt my wife stayed in for another show only a couple nights before by a lot). In the morning they had coffee out which was Vita brand and an assortment of flavorings or different milk to add. That was a really nice touch. Now all these good things stated, you just remember you are sleeping above a music venue. We went to a rock concert and you could definitely hear the music as the band was warming up. It wasn't obnoxious as we knew what we were getting into, but if you don't want to hear any music from below this may not be the best bet for you for stay at. They have this disclaimer pretty clearly stated on their website and do provide ear plugs. There is no onsite parking, but we were able to snag the lot across the street from 1700-0800 the following day for $25. At 0800 I moved to the street for $4 to park from 0800-1200. It was so nice to stay at the venue, and really the best choice for us. Made it easy to drink and have fun and literally just "walk upstairs" to a comfy bed. If you're seeing a show here do yourself a favor and stay!

This is the room I stayed! Such an elegant space!

A hotel unlike any other! My room was absolutely amazing! They have such a fun and unique spin with this place. All the rooms are different however I requested what I call "the black room" with a full dark theme. I was very impressed! My room was spacious and elegant, the bed and sheets were very comfortable, I slept so great. They really put a lot of thought into their hotel. Guest services were wonderful too! I was very pleased that I was able to check in early and get ready for an interview I had later in the day and they even helped me out with an iron and ironing board. The hotel lobby and the hallways are quirky too. I can't say enough great things about my stay. From booking my reservation, to checking out, this place was 10/10. I definitely plan to stay with them again when I return to Seattle!

The staff definitely leave something to be desired. I found them a mixture of condescending and rude. We requested early check in and where informed our room was not ready. Than watched them check in couple after couple. 2.5 hours later we got our early check in. A whole 15 minutes early. This was after it supposedly took them 45 minutes to clean the room. Now on to the room. The room was modestly sized with furniture shoved into every available space. The floors are plastic and cold. TV lost connection no less than 5 times forcing us to miss a few minutes of the show to reboot it. The best part was the bed. Very comfy bed. The comforters they provide are not designed for tall people though. The bathroom was not great. The shower is small with a temp control that sticks causing jumps in water temp. From luke warm to scalding quickly. For men beware the toilet. The water level is so high if you have to sit down to potty you will need to squat or parts might find themselves taking a swim in murky waters if you know what i mean. I would have normally told the staff all of this but the icy frosting on this stay was check out where the staff gave no greeting, didn't ask how the stay was or even express any positive sentiment towards us. In a city full of places to stay don't be fooled by there advertised low price. You end up with a low price experience for a high price in your check book.

I tried to explain that people were right behind us and it wasn't safe to block egress but the people at the front desk said that it wasn't a problem. My husband just needed to block traffic and unload our things then wait for a valet driver to appear. I asked if we could upgrade our room to a club level but was informed that they have no ability to do so at the front desk and haven't for some time. I was very disappointed at this. It would have been one thing if they were booked but just flat out denial just because felt somehow personal (even if it wasn't actually). I went back out to the entrance to see if I could spot my husband and made him stop. Soon after a valet arrived and said he should park the car perpendicular to the other cars so he would have somewhere to park. This would have effectively blocked both the valet cars and the through traffic lanes. He then asked if we were going to do valet parking. I told him "not any more!" This hotel charges $69 a night for valet and the self parking isn't worlds cheaper but it definitely felt worth it to have our car placed carefully by us and not left in the care of the person who felt perpendicular/blocking through traffic was a good idea. Meanwhile I found our room that has a persistent sound of whistling when the heating is on and I found that the bathroom, while beautiful had a rather unappealing quality. When you use the toilet you are looking directly into a rather large mirror. When taken all together it makes for a rather disappointing experience. I don't think I will stay at any Hyatt again. There are other options that are pleasant and clean and well thought out nearby.

There were some minor issues with the hotel charges, but staff was quick to help us sort it out during check-out. The check-in was a bit inconsistent though, as another group in our party got free vouchers to Smith Tower, but our room did not. They are now under Hyatt group, so if you have loyalty status with Hyatt, make sure to let them know during check-in. The room itself was nice and spacious. Bed and bedding was comfortable although the pillows were very flat. The bathroom had a huge window but there was an automated privacy shade. The bathroom also had plenty of counter space, with a separate shower from the huge soaking tub. The tub design was a bit weird in that the water comes out of the ceiling... so just be prepared that it does splash all over. Our room did not have a view (we got an east-facing room which literally is a view of another building's windows), but it did keep the room cool. Location was nice and walkable to all nearby Seattle attractions, very easy to get to Pike Place and Westlake Station. The hotel has a spa and small gym on the basement level, plus a golf simulator (that we did not try). The Rosebay bar was very pleasant (we got drinks and a snack) and the bartender was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast at All Water was disappointing though - both the service and food were mediocre for the price they charge - and we wouldn't recommend it. Nonetheless, the hotel stay itself was pleasant and I would recommend the hotel itself, location was excellent. Staff was friendly and I would come back to stay here again when visiting Seattle.

It felt starkly different this time in terms of the service and generosity -- much more generic. - My room was far noisier than my previous visit. Literally the first building you see when you leave the train station and right next to the entrance to the Seattle Stadium. Staff was friendly, though advertising a $9 bottle of Smart Water and giving your guests a complimentary check-in bottle of Dasani feels like a bad choice. Would probably have gone down better to give the Smart Water and advertise it as $9 to give it an added value. My main issue was not being warned before arrival that there was an ongoing strike by employees of the hotel. There was a flyer at the desk at check-in going over it, but no one prewarned us that the striking employees started at 6:30am with drums, a megaphone, sirens, whistles, and shouting. This was fully audible in the room. Due to the World Cup, there was no option to relocate to another hotel. When we left the hotel in the morning of the match, members of the protest got very aggressive and in my face, screaming about checking out and demanding a refund. Again, not a practical option. I have nothing against workers rights, but screaming at people who didn't know and don't have another choice isn't doing any favors. This must have happened more than once, because the front door was locked the remainder of the day and guests directed to other doors. The room was dusty, likely as a result of the strike. The sliding barn doors were insufficient to offer privacy while using the toilet or showering. Breakfast was pretty good. I went with Embassy Suites based on past experiences and convenience and I wish I had been aware of the strike because I would have made different choices. Hilton and Embassy Suites should address the concerns of their employees, if for nothing more than guest experience.

Our last two nights of our journey were spent in Seattle at the Shafer Baillie mansion. I would highly recommend staying here. The location was great for getting to downtown and all around. It is close to the Cap Hill neighborhood with shops and restaurants. There is plenty of street parking in the vicinity. The mansion itself is part of what was known as Millionaire's Row. It was built in 1914 and has been well cared for over the years. When we came back from one evening out, we all gathered in the Library and set up some charcuterie and wine to share from our travels. It was so cozy sitting all together and chatting about our adventures. The rooms are historic with modern conveniences. Our room was the Queen Ann Hill. We slept soundly in our comfortable 4 poster bed. There was a helpful step stool for me to climb up as I am vertically challenged. It has original pushbotton light switches. It had a beautiful full length mirror. There was a flatscreen TV, but we had so many wonderful activities we did not use it. The bathroom was updated but still fit with the historic look. There were two showerheads in the tiled shower. Breakfast was lovely. I, personally, have a great deal of food allergies. There was ample selection that I was able to enjoy just as much as anyone else. There were breads and pastries, jams and spreads, yogurt and fresh berries, and a hot breakfast dish. Hard boiled eggs were available as well as cheeses and meats. There was a coffee bar that was available all day that also had tea and cocoa. We sat at the long dining table enjoying each others company and conversation. We got to meet some of the other guests which added to the experience. The greeters always opened the door for me, the check-in desk staff were courteous and always had a smile, and the checkout process was also quick and ended with an invitation to return to the property the next time I'm in Seattle. As soon as I stepped out of my Uber upon initial arrival, a staff member walked up to open my door and asked if I needed help with my bags. My room was comfortable in every aspect. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years. Though Four Seasons is not the most cost effective option for a comfortable hotel in downtown Seattle, I highly recommend this hotel based on my recent experience in June 2025. Where to start.... Location, location, location! The hotel is literally a block away from the entrance to Pike Place Market where you can spend days shopping, snacking, and enjoying the views of the water. The views from the hotel room are breathtaking as the Great Wheel (Ferris wheel) and Aquarium are just a few minutes away by foot. From the Four Seasons, we were able to walk to Chinatown in under 30 min (you can also take the train just 2 stops down) and Seattle Center where the Space Needle is located is also walkable and also accessible via monorail. The staff greets you at the door every time you enter and exit, and the lobby is full of surprises like premium coffee and tea in the mornings and a candy bar in the afternoon. Every time our room was serviced, it was done to perfection and then some. The chat function on the app was amazing as I was able to make requests and ask questions with ease. Responses were close to immediate. At the front desk and concierge, staff are also very friendly and treated us with respect and honor. They also provided great advice for food and sightseeing options close by. They never tried to sell me stuff where they would make money off of it. I could go on and on, but I have to say that my family's experience was extremely memorable, and if I could give this place 6 stars, I would. If you're looking for the optimal location for breathtaking views, seconds away from Pike Place Market, and still walkable to the Space Needle, Chinatown, the Convention Center, etc., this is it, y'all!
