Great location easy 2 block walk to Seattle's historic Public Market. 3 blocks to Target and great Mexican restaurant and cantina next door.

My daughter and I booked adjoining rooms for 3 days in October of this year. Staff was friendly, and the hotel is in a great location downtown. The window latch in my room was broken, so the window could not be shut all the way making it very loud while trying to sleep due to outside traffic. There is no thermostat and at times my room was so hot it was almost unbearable. Front desk staff said they could do nothing about the heat. The major problem was with housekeeping. Things were filthy! And why was there a razor blade on the windowsill? The rooms we booked looked nothing like the online photos!

A centrally located historical hotel that blends personality and comfort. I was placed on the 7th floor and had a lovely view of the city. I would stay again!

So, first off if you need any questions answered speak with Danielle. He is very helpful with shuttle info and airport info! I was sad that the restaurant was closed. The coffee shop was open 8:30. -3:30. The beds were comfy, slept well. Within walking distance of the Market and restaurants!

Absolutely no frills hotel but in the heart of downtown Seattle. In the room you get a plug in fan that's in the closet, a tiny shampoo and conditioner (that don't seem like they come from the same manufacturer) and two slivers of wrapped soap. No Kleenex box and no hair dryer. There are two lights in the room which I didn't like. I like bright rooms. No a/c and no control to the heater in the room. The windows slid up about a foot or so which allowed for good ventilation. Close to a lot of places. There's one elevator that can fit MAYBE 6 people. You can't take the stairs up, but you can take them down. We stayed in room 720 which faced 2nd street. It can get somewhat noisy. For the price and convenience of being within walking distance of H mart and pike place, I'd stay again.

Decided last minute to spend the night here on the way to the Olympic peninsula. Last time we stayed was two years ago. They have updated the front of the building in a little bit. Again, we got a room with a queen in one room, and connecting two twins in the other room. It had a mini fridge, which was nice. (Some rooms do, some do not). we arrived at noon;, eventually were able to check in at 3 PM (official check-in is 4 PM). Room was simple, but comfortable. Very quiet this time. No AC, but a fan in each room, which cooled things down. Not fancy, but would definitely stay again for the price ($250 this time).

The Moore Theatre and Hotel was built for the tourist surge that would visit Seattle during the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition of 1907. Fittingly, it opened with a performance of "The Alaskan," a comic opera. The expo itself was delayed for two more years. In the 1930s hotel rooms without bath cost $1.50 and up; rooms with a bath cost $2.00 and up. [Seattle City Directory, 1930] An Asahel Curtis photograph of the Moore façade shows a sign advertising "Turkish baths for ladies and gentlemen" open twenty-four hours a day. I distract you with this illustrious history because this property has no curb appeal. Don't need put off by the rough, even fearsome, street appearance. Past the lobby (befitting a flophouse scene) the rooms are delightful (and huge). The colorful interior design is soothing and amusing. Our basic en suite room had a walk in closet, bedroom, kitchen, bathtub with claw-foot tub, and combination dining and sitting rooms. The square footage and soaring ceilings are amazing. The bed is a serious win. The room keys that are - wait for it - actual metal keys! A 5-minute walk from the Pike Place Fish Market, the Moore is conveniently where tourists want to be without the cost of marque name hotels. Location, friendly staff, quirky interior design in a historic building, low cost - we love it here!

Hallway on third floor. Looking down the velvet hallway

I love this hotel. The staff was wonderful, our room was basic yet had an old classic touch about it that left you wishing the walls could talk. The long hallways with the velvet curtains left me with haunted goosebumps, and hesitation to walk down them. We stayed on the third floor for three nights and never once saw another person, which we found odd and eerie. Our first night we opened the window a crack to let some air in before going to bed (no air-conditioning). In the morning, the window was wide open. I didn't think much of it and assumed my friend opened it in the night. Day two we left to walk downtown and again, just left the window open a crack. When we came back our window was again, wide open. We had refused room service so I finally asked my friend if she was opening the window. She said "no, but I thought I saw you standing by the window last night, maybe you did it?" I never once got up in the night. Night three we kept the window open wide and in the morning it was closed. I woke up and was dying of heat, so I got up to open it but the window would not budge. It took two of us with all our might to open it to get some air. We were pretty spooked and unsettled by the whole experience. I will also add that every morning I found my clothes from the night before under the table that I kept my suitcase on. (which was in front of said window). I NEVER leave clothes on hotel floors. As soon as I undress, they go right on top of my suit case, or on a table or dresser. On morning number one I wrote it off as maybe too much wine, but realized that was not the case after it occurred again the following two mornings. The feelings that the hotel vibes on you, and the history, you know there are spirits. My personal experience was on day two when we left around noon to hit pikes place. As soon as I took my first few steps down the stair case I saw a blur of a person walking above us, past the stairway railing from the long velvet curtain hall way. I turned around right away, since I had yet to see anyone on our floor, but no one was there. But I swear saw someone and felt the air shift. Now that I think of it, it was probably the ghost going to our room to mess with our window and throw my clothes on the floor. LOL

The single room was adequate. No frills such as a refrigerator or iron. But who really stays in their hotel while traveling? The reason I won't be returning is the guy at the service desk. He was really snarky. He might think he is being humorous, but not me.

I had one night in town and stayed at the Moore Hotel. it's a lovely old hotel connected to the Moore theater. It's just a short walk down the hill to the Seattle public market and just a bit further to the waterfront. I'm very much enjoyed my stay. And the bed was comfortable, too!

The pictures are deceiving. The room we ended up with was very disappointing; reasonably clean but depressing in appearance. I would not stay here agai

I flew in from the East Coast to take a Cruise. So was my first stay at The Moore Hotel and I enjoyed it. I the ambiance, the Vintage Vibe. The Moore is in a convenient location to Public Market, Restaurants, Target/CVS. And the price of The Moore was reasonable.

Than watched them check in couple after couple. 2.5 hours later we got our early check in. A whole 15 minutes early. This was after it supposedly took them 45 minutes to clean the room. Now on to the room. The room was modestly sized with furniture shoved into every available space. The floors are plastic and cold. TV lost connection no less than 5 times forcing us to miss a few minutes of the show to reboot it. The best part was the bed. Very comfy bed. The comforters they provide are not designed for tall people though. The bathroom was not great. The shower is small with a temp control that sticks causing jumps in water temp. From luke warm to scalding quickly. For men beware the toilet. The water level is so high if you have to sit down to potty you will need to squat or parts might find themselves taking a swim in murky waters if you know what i mean. I would have normally told the staff all of this but the icy frosting on this stay was check out where the staff gave no greeting, didn't ask how the stay was or even express any positive sentiment towards us. In a city full of places to stay don't be fooled by there advertised low price. You end up with a low price experience for a high price in your check book.

He wasn't phased. He had the personality to a wet sock. The manager was running in and out behind the counter. Nothing was happening or being communicated to me. Finally, after a very long wait we were given keys to our room. I asked about any type of breakfast or happy hour. They don't offer any of that. The room has no little refrigerator other than a cooler drawer filled with outrageously priced snacks and alcohol. Good thing we didn't have medications that needed refrigeration. There's no microwave. There's no condiments for coffee or tea. There's a Nespresso maker for those people who enjoy Nespresso. I'm not one who particularly enjoys Nespresso. There were no pods anywhere. I asked for some at the front desk and I was told that it's hidden in the room somewhere. It's Christmas not Easter and I'm not going to play hide and seek for the crappy coffee. The furnishings were modern and cold. When we came back and our room was ready, my husband did call down and mentioned it was our anniversary since they had confirmed in previously but we didn't see anything in the room, and they were very kind to bring up a little treat for us including some delicious chocolate covered strawberries. The room itself was spacious and clean with a great view of the city (we had a corner view). The bath tub had a fun feature (water to fill the tub came from a ceiling faucet rather than attached to the tub. The towels were large and fluffy and overall ambience was relaxing with a couch in the room. Check out was smooth and they had our bill ready and everything was easy/correct so we did not have to worry. We also did have late check out, which was pleasant as we could have a leisurely morning. We did try the restaurant (All Water) both for dinner and brunch the next day. Service was very slow unfortunately for the restaurant (it took 1.5 hours while the restaurant wasn't busy, and they did forget our side of grilled broccolini until after we finished our meals/reminded them). We tried the tuna hamachi crudo, clams and mussels, roasted hen of the woods and grilled broccolini. The tuna hamachi crudo was good, though I was hoping for more brightness in the flavor. I enjoyed the clams and mussels as well as the roasted hen of the woods overall, but felt the grilled broccolini was a little too dry (seemed grilled without any oil or seasoning). We did also try a few seasonal mocktails which were delicious and the highlight of the meal. Brunch the next day was take out and we went with a steak and eggs and a caesar salad. Both were solid, but note that the caesar salad came with actual little sardines, so for those picky eaters, this may be a bit much.

The provided shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion worked well and had a nice light citrusy scent. There was a Keurig machine in the room; not my jam but helpful in a pinch. We always got stocked with dark roast coffee pods, which is my preference, whoo. Also an empty mini fridge which we were able to use for beverages and leftovers. The 7th floor has a nice little seating area outside the bar where I was able to get some quiet work done one weekday, and the outdoor terrace offers a mountain view on clear days. Water bottle fillers on floors 1 and 4 were super convenient, too. The valet parking is very convenient but pricy. The greeters always opened the door for me, the check-in desk staff were courteous and always had a smile, and the checkout process was also quick and ended with an invitation to return to the property the next time I'm in Seattle. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years. The views from the hotel room are breathtaking as the Great Wheel (Ferris wheel) and Aquarium are just a few minutes away by foot. From the Four Seasons, we were able to walk to Chinatown in under 30 min (you can also take the train just 2 stops down) and Seattle Center where the Space Needle is located is also walkable and also accessible via monorail. The staff greets you at the door every time you enter and exit, and the lobby is full of surprises like premium coffee and tea in the mornings and a candy bar in the afternoon. Every time our room was serviced, it was done to perfection and then some. The chat function on the app was amazing as I was able to make requests and ask questions with ease. Responses were close to immediate. At the front desk and concierge, staff are also very friendly and treated us with respect and honor. They also provided great advice for food and sightseeing options close by. They never tried to sell me stuff where they would make money off of it. I could go on and on, but I have to say that my family's experience was extremely memorable, and if I could give this place 6 stars, I would. If you're looking for the optimal location for breathtaking views, seconds away from Pike Place Market, and still walkable to the Space Needle, Chinatown, the Convention Center, etc., this is it, y'all!
