I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hyatt Vivid Grand Island, and let me just say, this…read moreresort is only going to get better with age. The industrial boho vibe blends modern luxury with rustic charm in the most delightful way. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the service and atmosphere.I'd like to highlight the Vantage Club supervisor, who was absolutely amazing. Honest, polite, accommodating, respectful, thorough, and punctual - she went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. When we realized that our room was a lagoon-facing one instead of the golf and ocean view we had booked, she promised to move us the next day at exactly 10am. True to her word, the move was seamless, and we were back enjoying the views we wanted in no time.Saturday kicked off with a relaxing arrival, where our baggage was quickly taken care of, and we were sent off to enjoy the resort. The Civiche for lunch was absolutely delicious, and we started our vacation on the right note. We were initially given a lagoon view room, and while we're not normally picky, we wanted the golf course and ocean sunrise views. The hotel had attempted an "upgrade," but I believe an upgrade should be a room category change, not a trade-off in view. Thankfully, the supervisor addressed our concern promptly, which was much appreciated.By Sunday, we were moved into the correct room at exactly 10am. We took the shuttle to the beach club (just a heads up, you need to be with your spouse to get a wristband), and while the beach club wasn't ideal for swimming due to crowds, it was a nice place to hang out. The only downside was the elevator wait times during peak hours (9:30am-9pm), but that's a minor detail. The rooftop restaurant dinner was incredible, and the next day, we spent time at the rooftop pool where the service was impeccable. I even went back to my room for an afternoon nap and enjoyed a relaxing swim in the bathtub. Later, we had a private dinner in the wine room between the French and Italian restaurants, which was a lovely, intimate experience.Tuesday, we took advantage of a couples massage. While the spa wasn't fully open yet, they had set up a makeshift spa using suites on the second floor, which still offered a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I also enjoyed another round of Civiche for lunch (it's that good!). We then spent some time at the pool, and the poolside cool-off service was a nice touch - a gentleman misted us with aloe vera water and placed an iced towel on our foreheads to keep us cool.Overall, Hyatt Vivid Grand Island exceeded expectations. From the excellent service to the stunning setting, I can tell this resort is only going to improve over time. The staff, especially the Vantage Club supervisor, made a huge impact on our experience, and I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to escape and enjoy a truly relaxing and memorable stay
