Enjoyed a one night stay here as we were traveling and visiting friends in the area. Free parking was in the adjacent parking structure which was nice. The rooms are decorated similar to Hard Rock, The Palms in Las Vegas or other contemporary hotels. The staff was very helpful and professional. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. We were there at Christmas and the lobby decorations were very festive. We'd definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

I've had great experiences staying here the last 3 times. Parking is super convenient and free in the parking garage right across from the hotel. Staff was friendly and got me checked in and checked out quickly. The rooms weee very comfortable and modern, with wide open spaces and comfortable bed. My favorite part was the bathroom. Loved the shower, especially with the rainfall shower head. Really makes for a relaxing and luxurious experience. Would definitely come stay here again next time :)

Keeping in mind that there is absolutely no luxury hotels in Gainesville, this one is quite acceptable lacking the amenities you would find at the higher brands. The rooms are modern and clean and it's located in Celebration Point that has restaurants and a movie theater. In Gainesville it's the best choice. It has great air conditioning that you can control, beds are a bit hard and it lacks smart tv's.

Hotel indigo is a reliable, elevated experience that's a notch above your typical mid price hotels. The one in Gainesville did not disappoint. I especially like the lobby, decor, and the homage to hometown musician Tom Petty. There was a nice sense of place, starting with the plastic alligator that greets you as you walk in. The restaurant menu included a vegan option, I highly recommend the portobello mushroom sandwich. And it was a nice touch that they offer a water dispenser

I had the opportunity to stay at this wonderful IHG property in December 2022. Located in the heart of Celebration Pointe, it really is steps away from shops and restaurants. I enjoyed the proximity of everything from my hotel. The parking is free and located in the big garage adjacent to the hotel. Check in was fairly easy and the room was clean. The hotel has a nice rainfall shower and the water was nice and hot. HVAC controls were easy to operate and the temperature was good. Overall very pleasant stay.

Beautiful new hotel! We had to stay here in Gainesville for 1 night! It's right off the highway! The staff was very friendly! Breakfast starts at 7:30 am - 11 am! You ordered off a menu! If you add breakfast to your booking which is $10 per person, for two is $20! You'll get a value of $40 to spend for your breakfast! The service during breakfast was really slow, but our waitress was Desiree and she was friendly and pleasant! I thought my room rate included breakfast but found out it wasn't, that was misleading on their website! The room was clean and roomy! Got lots of space to put your luggage. TV had a lot of movie stations which was nice if you had to stayed in your room!

Disgusting hotel, very dirty. See pictures. Dead bugs in the bed, a dried up bodily fluid on the nightstand, bad AC and mold smell. I arrived late on a business trip and upon checking in asked to switch rooms and was denied. There was no housekeeping on call so the desk attendant gave me sheets to change myself. I asked for a refund and after multiple emails and phone calls the hotel begrudgingly gave me the equivalent of $50 in IHG points because I booked thru Priceline, which to me seems very classist. As someone who travels 100+ days a year, I have never written a poor review for any of my sub-par stays. This hotel is disgusting and horribly managed, and to think it's an INDIGO is...wild. Don't support them. Stay elsewhere.

Happy that indigo made it to Gainesville. Very modern hotel. Reasonable prices. Conviennent location off 75, near the Butler plaza. Lots of food and shopping options walkable and nearby. New movie theater as well. Quiet location. Super friendly staff. Has a gym, pool, bar, restaurant and business center. They give a gift bag to IHG members. A snack bar, tiny water bottle, and a wooden toothbrush. The breakfast was tasty. They dont have everything on the menu, but they make accommodations. I booked the breakfast package. Good coffee. There was some confusion about that. At this location Platinum members get free breakfast for 2 or up to 30 dollars in restaurant breakfast credit. I booked with breakfast as my son was with me. So I wanted breakfast for 3. I was short one breakfast. Spoke to the morning manager and I think it was corrected. Indigo Staff were friendly. Rooms are quiet, comfortable. Not a fan of the sliding bathroom barn door. These seem to be in many Indigos now. Free parking across the street. Lots of public transportation. Nice bar with drink specials. Good sized restaurant. Late night snack corner at the front desk. Stayed here twice. Will go back.

Bathroom with lit mirror and fantastic quality products. (Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion)

This is a trendy and stylish hotel with plenty of Instagrammable seating areas in the lobby, and comfortable guest rooms/bathrooms as well. The rooms were clean and the products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion) were high quality and came in refillable bottles, thus reducing waste. I had an errand to run one morning and when I returned their restaurant had just closed. They don't have complimentary breakfast but all I really wanted was a coffee and that wasn't available either. When one of the restaurant staff saw my disappointment at missing a hot coffee, she went back and brewed a pot just for me, at no charge. I was so appreciative of her going above and beyond! I've stayed in quite a few hotels in Gainesville over the years since our daughter is there, and I do feel that many similar hotels have free coffee available in the lobby. I think that a good cup of brewed coffee would be a great addition to the overall experience...Just my opinion. Otherwise, we loved the hotel! The location is convenient to several restaurants including Spurrier's and Dave& Busters, as well as a shuttle to the football games.

    Broken security flap (Room 406)

I have to say this was the worst IHG property I've ever stayed in. It's nearly brand new, which is what made these issues below all the more surprising: Security lock on the door was broken and useless Shower and bathroom sink wouldn't deliver hot water. Very hard to shave with tepid water Bathroom wallpaper separating No hand soap in the room. Told there was a supply order issue and was offered body wash in lieu of soap Barn door on bathroom (which in and of itself is so dumb) was very VERY difficult to open and close. If I had arthritis or was frail in size it'd have been impossible to operate it I've never stayed in a darker IHG room than this (north facing window, curtains open and lights all on). I'm still amazed how little light there was in our room, which made it very difficult to organize and find things in my suitcase Trash cans outside were absolutely overflowing with trash, and the cigarette ash trays on top were full of nicotine-saturated water Indigo hotels are some of the nicest I've stayed in within the IHG brand, but this hotel had both poor design decisions and management practices. I would not recommend staying here at all. The good: staff at bar was friendly and poured a heavy double for my travel partner, and the front desk staff was really kind and helpful. Also it's nice to be able to walk to several dining options, and the property is very quiet.

    Tracy M.

This hotel has a great location with shopping, restaurants and a few bars. It is neatly designed and staff is friendly. Two stars are because during our two night stay we had no hot water at all. The air does not work very well either. The air was turned all the way down to 68 but it never reached a cold temperature. Also be aware that breakfast is not free. There is a coffee maker and mini fridge in the room but no microwave. Upon checking out I heard numerous other guest complaints about the the lack of hot water and issues with their air conditioner as well.

We have stayed at another hotel in the past but it is not part of the Hilton brand. Both times we stayed here, the weather was colder. The first time, we used the fire pit outside and the fireplace in the lobby was on but not the recent visit. I was looking forward to that. We had a digital key and I arrived prior to hubs, with no issues. The room was clean but there were no regular coffee kcups- just tea and decaf. I unfortunately did not notice that until the morning but was smart enough to bring my own. I used the shower first, which the cold water was almost non existent. If I turned the dial maybe to the 11 o'clock dial, it was not scolding my skin. The water also felt very slimy, which I believe means the water was soft. We had credits to use so after I picked up hubs, we went to the bar in the lobby for a couple of drinks. There was only one employee working and he was super busy. There were a lot of patrons there so we ordered drinks from him in between him taking care of others. We were enjoying ourselves lounging in the lobby and were able to order a second round. Their lobby is very nice and cozy. We requested a late checkout when we were done and told 1pm. Hubs paid in advance for the breakfast so we headed there around 10am. When we checked at the front desk, one of the breakfast staff informed us they did not have much food left. I thought that was messed up because breakfast is not included so there should be plenty of stock. The kitchen dude cooked us up some eggs and bacon, which I think was the last of what they had. We also checked with the desk to assure we had the late checkout, to which the employee gave us an earlier time. We then reiterated what was given to us the previous night and he put it in the computer. Shockingly, housekeeping knocked on the door of course at noon and we had to tell them again. We do like this hotel and will consider this location the next time we stay in Gainesville but will not pay for the breakfast and I will have to check immediately entering the room for supplies. The staff were professional and friendly so that is always a positive attribute.

Grateful for that** Immediately upon arrival there were young kids playing baseball in parking lot, parents got upset that I wanted to get through to park car...that was the beginning of the end...went in to check in and noticed they were hosting A LOT of kids baseball players. I asked if I left and didnt check if if they'd NOT charge me as I didnt want to stay in a Hilton with a lot of screaming obnoxious kids. Clerk said that NO they WOULD still charge me. OOOOOK then. Then mid conversation with desk girl, some rude dude stumbles up to the front desk asking where the bar is. Front desk cuts off my conversation and tells him where to go to meet his friends. Like what?! You're checking me in...why cater to that type of person when you're already dealing with a guest? There were limited rooms available so I was on first floor. The room itself was great...except mini frig didn't work (apparently common in gainesville) However, within minutes of being in room with door shut I could hear and feel the thumping music and kids screaming. I was there on a BUSINESS trip. I detest thumping foul music to begin with but especially at a HILTON! I expect more than that. I've never had this problem or any problem at any other Hilton other than now the 2 in Gainesville. I was advised by the front desk that "quiet time" starts at 11pm. That's pure insanity and totally unacceptable. In the morning when I checked out the gentleman that was at front desk asked how my stay was. I replied "awful" He wanted to know why. I proceeded to explain and he made excuses the entire time. Told me "That's Gainesville. A sports community." blah blah blah. I don't care if it's Gainesville or anywhere else, when I go to a Hilton I expect peace, quiet, quality otherwise I could stay at a grotesque Motel 8 or some nasty place. Ironically though I've now stayed at 2 different Hiltons in Gainesville and apparently "it IS Gainesville" equates to low quality, substandard service and accommodations. The other hilton was gross/nasty/maintenance issues but quiet...The Garden Inn Hilton was opposite...clean but loud, rude and obnoxious. After this stay, I've decided I will no longer be doing business in Gainesville because it's apparent that the Hilton's there don't meet my expectations like they do in Ormond Beach, Daytona and other areas. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY and wish I had driven the 300+ miles home when I was done with my client on Saturday instead of staying...had I known how bad it was going to be, I'd have gone ahead and lost my $170 for the night and driven straight back. TOTAL FAIL on Hilton.

The waste baskets in the rooms are way too small. Because of this people are putting their trash outside their rooms so housekeeping will pick them up or they put them near the completely full trash bins near the elevators. My niece had a room on the 4th floor and said someone had put out dirty baby diapers that stunk up the elevator area badly. With that said, when she brought this up to the front desk they addressed it quickly. It's just sad that housekeeping or maintenance didn't notice all the trash. I was on the 3rd floor and someone had their trash outside their door for two days with no pick up. I asked for extra trash bags since my bins were so full. My toilet started not flushing correctly as the flap was not closing completely on my last night. It worked like one out of three times.
