i didn't actually stay in this location, but I did go to Finca Altozano Restaurant right next door to this hotel. The location gives people staying there a superb view of the valley from the center, and it's proximity to Finca Altozano, as well as access to a coffee bar, ice cream store, gift shop, wine seller, another smaller self-serve restaurant, as well as being in the middle of a working vineyard is such a treat. *Note* Be aware that the road to get there is not well graded and has many dips. A standard sedan can navigate it, but probably better to take an SUV.

Went here and with my girlfriend. They recommended food places and a mobile massage from Ensenada Massage. Was awesome.

You have to drive at least 5 miles just to find other restaurants or attractions, and it's about 14 miles to Ensenada if you want more options. The hotel only has one restaurant, and while it was convenient, the food was overpriced for what it offered. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the property itself felt a bit neglected. There were several maintenance issues, including a broken toilet paper holder and a broken shampoo/conditioner dispenser that wasn't replaced until the following day. The paint in the room didn't match in several areas, and overall it could use some upkeep. The pillows were very uncomfortable, and the property was extremely dusty, making it difficult to enjoy being outside, so we ended up staying indoors most of the time. We also booked a room advertised with a "valley view," but our view was mostly trees and a ditch, which was disappointing and not what we expected. On the positive side, the room itself was modern, clean, and nicely designed inside. With a few minor repairs and better maintenance, it could be an excellent place to stay. The hotel was also very quiet, which made for a peaceful atmosphere, although the room had great AC. Overall, I would rate Casa Frida 3 out of 5 stars. It has potential thanks to its friendly staf

We stayed in a wooded studio room that is located in "the village". It was so quiet and lovely. The room was very clean and had so much storage and enough space for all of our gear. The robes are so comfy and the toiletries were also very nice. The shower was huge!! We slept well on the comfortable bed and loved waking up to the Mountain Views. During the day I kept our door open because the weather was just perfect. It was so nice having ipetra restaurant on site and we had a gorgeous sunset dinner our final night at one of the upper deck tables. Our server was so sweet and the food was great! Waking up at sunrise and walking around is a must. It's very serene in the morning and walking the grounds was a very zen experience. Highly recommend!!

Very Disappointing Experience Unfortunately, our stay was…read morefar from what we expected. Before driving over two hours to the hotel, I called to confirm the address, yet we were still given incorrect directions. When I called for assistance, the receptionist was unable to properly guide us, causing us to arrive late to the winery experience we had booked through the hotel. Although we were assured our late arrival wouldn't be an issue, we still waited for the experience to begin, and what was advertised as a two-hour winery experience lasted only about 35 minutes. The biggest disappointment was the complete loss of running water due to a broken pipe. We were told it would be restored within 2-3 hours, but we had no running water or working toilet for the entire night. The next morning, the shower only had cold water, and the toilet still would not flush. Someone was sent to our room just 15 minutes before checkout, which was far too late to resolve the issue. While I understand unexpected maintenance problems can happen, the lack of communication, inaccurate expectations, and failure to provide a timely solution or any effort to make things right made this a very disappointing experience. I hope management addresses these issues so future guests receive the level of service expected from a property like this. Mind you the was about 3 weeks ago now still waiting for someone to reach out like they promised they would for our money back or another choice we had was 2 night stay on them but of course I haven't heard back and I have reached out about 3x now

Tim, Ciara, and Ruth worked diligently to answer every one of our questions promptly and thoroughly. We had nearly a two-year engagement, and even though we booked the venue far in advance, the team consistently made us feel like a top priority every step of the way. The venue itself is breathtaking and spacious, allowing you to host not just a wedding day, but an entire wedding weekend your guests will remember. The team goes above and beyond to listen to your vision and thoughtfully incorporate every detail, making the experience even more beautiful and personalized. We would recommend this venue--and this incredible team--to anyone. We stayed from Friday to Monday (with a Saturday wedding). While a majority of our family, and bridal party stayed on site, we had plenty of others that stayed at htoels near by. Early on in the process, the Villa del Paraiso team recommended Vista Hermosa which worked perfectly as they provided shuttles to and from our venue throughout the weekend. Additionally, the food is amazing! Villa del Paraiso's chef, Jorge, and his wife, Ame, are truly exceptional. I've been to many weddings, and it's often difficult for food prepared for large groups to come out warm and flavorful--but they absolutely delivered. We had countless guests tell us it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. Everything was served warm and prepared perfectly. My husband, Jake, and I are so sad our wedding weekend is over. We wish we could relive it and work with this amazing team all over again!

We toured the venue over a year ago and knew immediately that this is where we wanted to get married. The Villa and views are stunning! It's is unlike any venue we've seen in California or Mexico. We planned the wedding from Northern California and the owner and planning team were extremely helpful from start to finish. They not only helped us plan the wedding, they helped us plan a wine tasting tour for 60 days the day before the wedding and a pot- wedding brunch for 120 guests. The Villa was big enough to house our immediate family & wedding party for the weekend. The wedding coordinator and staff took exceptional care for us the day of the wedding!

I love the architecture which ranges from Mexican Baroque to traditional Spanish Colonial and the entire compound has cobblestone streets and cement walking paths. There are several little gardens of roses and other lovely flowers making this a great place to take walks and enjoy the scenery. The large pool/jacuzzi area has plenty of lounge chairs and shaded seating, a shuffleboard court, a gym, and a banquet room. There is also a large surfing beach with several sturdy palapas for all guests and owners to use. A visit to Las Gaviotas is certainly a treat. I have never…read morebeen, but my traveling companions have, so, as a native of Ohio in the states, I didn't know what to expect. After it was all said and done, I/we was/were overwhelmingly pleased with everything about this vacation rental. First, the location is right off one of the main thoroughfares in Valle de Guadalupe and in close proximity, 5 to 10 minutes, from numerous award winning wineries and restaurants, convenient stores, gas stations, and pharmacies. As you approach the Villa de Coral, you wind down a road which takes you through these impressive rock formations before arriving at the front gate of the Villa. The security gate keeps the whole property enclosed. There is plenty of room for parking once inside the Villa. In fact, the Villa is perfect for whole familes, large groups, reunions, as it has 4 bedrooms, plenty of sleeping options for all, and two absolutely stunning bathrooms. You can tell the owner and their staff take pride and cherish this gem of a villa. Everything was organized, easy to find, and fully stocked. There is a full kitchen to accommodate any Chef's inspirations. Open air doors that act as a wall from the elements, can be removed to open the space to those lovely night breezes. A fire pit outside warms it's watchers during the night as well. Want to stay in and watch a classic movie?, there are plenty of options the owner and staff have left for you in case 'staying-in' is on the menu. Laundry facilities are on premises for your convenience as well. The grounds are very well kept and feature a lovely assortment of local flora and fauna. I cannot speak highly enough of our stay in Villa de Coral. I just can't wait to return. If you are shopping for a place to stay on your next trip to the beautiful Valle de Guadalupe, consider putting Villa De Coral at the top of your list. I know I am.
