Hair braiding from near by Rosarito beach girls

We've own a home in here for over 34 years and it's just as remarkable as always. Friends come down and rent other homes and makes for a fun sun filled safe place to relax and just appreciate life. Highly recommend to anyone from the states wanting a safe fully staffed gated 24 hours a day community.

Las Gaviotas is a gated community with 24 hour security located between Rosarito Beach and Ensenada. It is not a hotel, but a collection of individually owned homes with their own unique character, but also conform to an overall theme. Each row of homes is stepped up so everyone has unfettered ocean views. There is a beach, an Olympic sized pool, jacuzzi, shuffleboard and a tennis court available. You can stock up and stay here without ever leaving during you stay. There is even a fish guy that comes in every Saturday selling fresh fish such as shrimp, halibut, sea bass and yellow tail. He was sells cerviche and oysters. During the summer there is a taco stand and Bloody Mary bar at the pool. The break in front of Las Gaviotas is well known. There is always a large contingent of surfers staying at any given time. The complex is fully staffed and they do an excellent job keeping the place clean and manicured. All the homes have full service utilities and most have wifi. To book a house, just go to VRBO and Airbnb.

The best place to chill and make friends. We always have a good time!!!! The new side walk is just amazing. Security 24 hrs and they are very nice and helpful. The spa, gym, shuffle board, pool and the beach is just the perfect combination for the best weekend in your life!!! Two tents offering tacos, sea food and drinks make so easy to enjoy your self and don't worry about nothing just if your cup is getting empty:) Sleep hearing the ocean is always a good idea the views are breathtaking. I hope we come back soon

Looking for a beach home to rent? WANT TO AVOID THE HIGH BOOKING FEES OF AIRBNB AND VRBO? Our family has been coming to Las Gaviotas for 3 decades. There are 300 homes in the complex and over 100 of them rent for short times like weekends. Contact an owner through Baja California Las Gaviotas on TripAdvisor. Click "Vacation Rentals" on the header for listings of available homes. You can rent a complete house for lower than just a hotel room in Rosarito Beach especially when your group is 4 or more. The facilities for everyone are: a large community pool, Jacuzzi, tennis court, shuffleboard court, children's playground, beach volleyball, two private beaches and a beautiful malecon (ocean walkway). Private gated entrance and 24 hour walking security patrols are provided along with a complete system of security cameras which are monitored from the security office. This is a very safe and quiet community. We recommend homes that include the taxes, cleaning fees, parking fees and resort fees in their rates to get a correct comparison of the costs.

This might be the best place of its kind. It's a place to relax, take in the natural beauty and the sounds of the ocean. Staying there was very relaxing.,especially getting away the everyday noises of the city. I also swam in the pool and took in some sun. fished, Ate some of the poolside made fish &Shrimp tacos,Walked along the beach and took some nice strolls. Staying at CASA De Nola was a great experience and hope to do it again.

The sunset on the deck was gorgeous.

This gated community is beautiful and can't be topped in surrounding areas. Private beach really tops off the experience.

Luckily, I got there just before the rush and was seated quickly. The location has an amazing vibe, especially as it begins to fill up. The food was amazing!! The Cafe de Olla was some of the best that I have ever had. It is perfectly seasoned with cinnamon and requires no additional sugar or milk to be thoroughly enjoyed. Next comes the chips and salsa. The chips were crunchy and salted, while the salsa was actually spicy. Far too often, salsa has no spice, and this was fantastic. While we were waiting for our orders, we were offered the chance to order a taco, and I decided to try the carnitas taco. WOW. The flavor profile was insane. The carnitas were juicy, but the exterior was lightly smoked and toasty, which paired with the lime and toppings was very pleasant. My main was the Borrego Tatemado. It was phenomenal! The meat was very juicy, and the side sauce (Consomme) was some of the best I ever had. The restaurant does an amazing job of making this place feel like I am eating homemade food at a relative's.

I told myself if I'm ever in the area again, I have to make an effort to eat at this place. Well, the opportunity arose as I was staying at a nearby winery. The biggest problem I encountered was finding a ride to get to this restaurant. Taxis are nonexistent in the area. Ubers are only in the area when someone from Ensenada requests a round trip to the area, so no they are not available to others. Therefore, I expressed my frustration with the front desk at my winery hotel and they took on the task of finding me private transportation. About 40 minutes later, they called my room to inform me that they located a driver. Unfortunately, he requested an inflated price for the to and from the restaurant. Private drivers down here know that you have few choices, therefore, they can ask inflated prices. Yes, I was in a pickle, but I really wanted to go. I did not rent a car because many of the roads hug cliffs and everyone drives fast, because they know where all of the mountain curves are. Being from Chicago, where we also drive fast but don't have mountain cliff roads decided to play it safe and let others do the driving for me. Anyhow, I debated, and in the end agreed to the expensive terms because when I going to get the opportunity again to eat at a place rated best breakfast in the world? How was the breakfast? It was absolutely delicious, everything was made from scratch. I ordered the cafe de la olla which interprets into coffee from the pot because typically it is prepared with raw sugar (piloncillo), canella (cinnamon sticks), and orange zest. How was the coffee? Delicious. I had some machaca (small bits of dried beef) with eggs which came with delicious refried beans. I also ordered the excellent chilaquiles with an egg and a side of bacon. I also needed to order the one thing most talk about on their menu which is the corn bread pancakes. They used the recipe for a typical corn bread sold down here called pan de elote to make the pancakes, and yes, they were excellent. Turning the batter from this recipe into pancakes was a brilliant idea. Also, I cannot leave out the great tasting freshly made corn tortillas that came with the food. The tortillas down here taste different from the ones back in Chicago because down here a white heirloom corn is utilized rather than the sweet yellow dent corn from the Midwest. Was it the best breakfast that I have ever had in Mexico, or anywhere else for that matter? Well, it definitely lived up to the hype the breakfast was amazing and I do highly recommend it. If you do decide to visit, my best advice is show up early because a line forms very early. I have been lucky to have also had other amazing breakfasts in Mexico and other places in my travels. The secret to this restaurant sits right behind it. On the restaurant grounds is an active ranch, which also doubles as a small zoo, where they source their milk and meats from. Yes, they raise their own animals which later become items on the menu. Does that fresh matter? Yes, it absolutely does make all of the difference. Does it sound cruel? Well, that is a whole other conversation. Let's just say the animals are treated humanely. All of the livestock looked happy as they roamed around the grounds. Unlike the way livestock is treated inhumanly in the United States in dirty overcrowded housing where some never get to see the sun or roam freely in the open air. Livestock in the US are constantly given antibiotics and growth hormones, also fed gmo feed with questionable health implications for those that consume them.

It is a tradition for my husband and I to stay here for Cinco de Mayo each year. We love the views, the Spanish style, the gorgeous blooming plants, the location, and the staff! Their humor and information about the latest changes in Old Town are always appreciated! Alicia is an outstanding waitress at the hotel restaurant, The Tequila Factory. We love that the free breakfast has made a much welcomed comeback! We enjoyed the chocolate muffins, the bacon, fresh orange juice, chilaquiles, and fresh fruit! Luggage in hand. Dragging tired toddlers to a room that had the carpet's pulled up, debris all over, closet doors unhinged. Had to go back to the front desk to get a new room. Too tired to check out the new room, we went to go eat, assuming we were going to come back to a nice hotel room to rest. And sure enough, room #2 was ALSO under construction with a huge blow dryer. Once again, we go back to front desk to resolve the issue. At this point we're exhausted. (You would think their staff would know where to place their guests. And know which parts of their property is being renovated) When we finally get our third room, there was no trash bags inside all the trash cans. There was old coffee left inside the coffee machine with what looked like mold. It was unsanitary and disgusting. The coffee machine wasn't working properly either. There were no crib's available for our baby to sleep in. When I had requested for one. The gentleman from front desk asked security to look if they have any around the property and was told they didn't have any. Our baby had to sleep in the middle of us, so none of them would fall out of bed. After a long drive, we were tired. Hazardous sleeping with babies that are 1 year old and 2 year's old. Very uncomfortable, we didn't have a decent nights sleep worrying about safety and space. Overall, I'm very disappointed with no proper resolution for this stay. I feel like I have been given the run around and no one is concerned or taking accountability for this property. I have called booking.com and the actual property and no one cares to actually want to assist. Spoke to the manger and she can't accommodate anything, honestly feels like no one wants to take responsibility. I have had to give my statement numerous times, to numerous people. I have spoken with Vivian the manager that was on duty at the time. And Sofia from the front desk was contacted by booking.com I'll be honest. This is very frustrating and unethical to have to keep repeating and reliving our stay at this hotel. There should be reports in regards to my complaint. Enclosed I have provided proof from our stay. I do not recommend stayin Fast forward-10 Days later, after contacting booking.com I feel like they don't intend to resolve this issue (Best western), they're not apologetic at all. Zero communication when they have been contacted multiple times by booking.com. I have sent a detailed email with proof, provided what they requested. And still nothing. I really wish I spoke with corporate when I was there because THEY were on site. I just didn't want to embarrass this property and complain when they were introducing a new hire. This place is trash, the worst customer service!

Hotel Hacienda Bajamar is such a beautiful resort that is best experienced at a slower rate. We were there for our friends wedding so we stayed for 3 days, 2 nights. Their standard rooms are very bare minimum; they do not include microwaves or a refrigerator but you will have your hotel toiletries, towels, hairdryer, iron board, iron, hangers, 4 bed pillows with decorative pillows, comforter blanket, AC, ceiling fan and a tv with basic cable. Around the hotel itself has artifacts and artwork that decorates the hotel nicely. The hotel building itself looks a bit on the older side but I feel like that gives the hotel character and personality. There is one restaurant within the resort and they have a fairly large menu for reasonable prices! Remember what I mentioned about the service situation earlier?! This is where I'd implement the practice of being patient and kind. This is the only restaurant on the entire resort, so they are busy often with room service and catering events all while running the restaurant/restaurant bar. We dined for a dinner and regular breakfast, we waited about 30-40 mins for our food so I highly would not recommend going when you're starving.. We didn't golf, but the ceremony and reception was held at the Infinity Center which overlooks the ocean BEAUTIFULLY during a cloudless day and the sunset is sooooo beautiful. I'd love to come back again with my family!
