This hotel is so far from a 5 star experience that I cannot recommend it in any way. First, they offer free airport transfers, and it is listed in big letters on their website. But the fine print is ridiculous- and when you ask them, they point fingers at each other. They blame the call center, the call center says called the hotel and the hotel says you talk to the transportation company. So we were stuck at the airport with no way of getting to the hotel. This hotel is literally the last hotel on the road, so you must hire a private tax- which wanted $150. After 40 minutes, I got them down to $120. Complete rip off. We bought this hotel due to free transfers listed on their website and they make it very hard to use it. I spoke to the manager and everybody gives you different info- and they all blame other people. The manager said we weren't staying long enough to qualify for transfers on the way back- even though their own terms and conditions says 3 days- which we were staying for. So now we are at hotel and have no transportation back. Manager said he would call the call center, and then took care of other people for over an hour before he came back and told me he is going to do nothing. For the room, there is no lotion and limited soaps. Pillows are horrible and no covers- not comfortable. There is an in-room mini bar, which is nice. Fridge is stocked with water and sodas- make sure you use the water to brush your teeth. The outlet by the bed doesn't work, which is kind of normal for a lot of hotels, but not one claiming to be 5 star. One last thing about the room- there is a fan. And it is either off or turbo- would like a speed setting. There is one elevator bank for the entire resort- and they are small and smell musty. But they did work. The grounds are well maintained and the pools are very nice. Food is average- the photos on the menu are stock photos and do not match the food served whatsoever. Big downgrade. Drinks aren't all that good- pina colada mix is highly processed and isn't enjoyable. The bartenders at the swim up bar are very fun though- they are probably the highlight of the place. This is a party hotel- so expect it to be loud at night. If you came to party, you will like it. All in all, I expected a lot more from this hotel and leave disappointed. Management doesn't look to fix problems and with so many options in this area, I would avoid Riu.

Beautiful hotel. Clean room with balconies. Great staff

Nice and clean room. Balconies in every room. Nice people (environment). Beach just steps away. Nice staff's. Food is okay. Just a great experience.

I'll start with service; The service is AMAZING I mean waiters / waitresses. Bartenders /lifeguards / cleaning mates/ even maintenance fixing the resort. That was second to none they just run and try to please you despite of some people don't pay tips. Food : ok This one is a little complicated. They have a main giant buffet open for three meals then 3 smaller one for dinner that opens in alternate.also near pool there is burger and Hot Dog every noon. If you manage your meals smartly then you won't get tired of food here. I believe a better hood system would help to keep the egg and fish smell away from rooms and sitting area. That would be a game changer. Their steak house was a joke but the rest was great enough. POOLS . In total of 6 or 7 pools 1 big slide pool for kids taller than 120cm 4' feet. 1 shallow pool with baby slides for babies 2 bar pools with sits and full bar for adult only 2 entertainment pools with party and mixed kids and adults 1 volleyball net pool for sport freaks We enjoyed all of them. Entertainment: Ok it was entertainment on budget hahah. They brought famous DJ for foam party and that was not cheap it was legit with dancers. But rest of the nights DJ work was done in house. Entertainment crew worked really really hard they are young kids still in learning prossess. You get entertainment but not 5 star one it is ok. Their pool party was great but kids entertainment "Riu land " was kind of boring. They do different things to keep you entertained. The only place I didn't check was their club. View :amazingjust see the picture. Cleaning:they clean after people none stop but some people think they are so special that are allowed to leave trash just about everywhere. Literally they cleaned the top of ice maker in8:30 morning I passed by 9:15 and people left their night left over on top of it . Or cigarette bits on stairs. This is something that guests has to consider not the host . Cleaning crow didn't even complain they clean again and again but I hate to see some guests don't have the manner. High tech: I was amazed how high tech is their system. Download their app and you will find out. Efficiency: California has BS rules for saving planet and non of them works (ask any Californian) here on the other hand . 1 absolutely no small water bottles. You get 4 big ones and you can use as pleased . 1 for each family member or share 1 bottle a day between all 4 as we did. That way they don't deal with ton of bottles . And any bar will give u glass of water upon request. 2 towels : you get 4 cards to deposit everyday and receive 4 towels that way you won't leave it everywhere and get a new one and occupied benches etc. you can take the wet towels and exchange it for new one. 3 electrical system was efficient without getting to details. Drinks : To be honest it was consist of sloppy syrups and cheap alcohol and ice . For money I paid I am not expecting more but I didn't get good drunk. It don't get me good buzzed. Store shoppe is a rip off all prices raised 15 times And Photo Booth is even more rip off . I can't believe that management let that happened.

I've stayed at the Riu four times as an inexpensive trip with family and friends. I wish I would have took the warning signs from previous interactions not to continue. Beware you can never talk to a person when you call in when you do your either hung up on or given a email to contact someone. I have been going back and forth for 3 months on a cancellation that I made. They claim it was a non cancellation reservation when I showed it wasn't the claimed my screen shot from their app wasn't good enough proof that I canceled it because it doesn't show the date I canceled. I can't help how their app work. Now they want me to make another reservation for the same amount of days and stay then they will refund me. Wow this sounds like extortion to me. Be aware before you book with them.

After 9 days of sun, it's time to review. The hotel was a decent place to stay, hotel room and amenities were very clean. I always struggle wIth all-inclusive because sometimes you need some variation and that was the case here. While the service was good and the place was nice, right on the beach, it was too far from any developments and the food was too repetitive. Not only was it too repetitive, it was mediocre at best. The restaurant options were very limited, unlike other all-inclusives we've stayed at. They all had similar food and after 9 days, I was definitely ready for something different. The buffet offered the same thing daily, not much changed. However, the shows and the service were spectacular. They had great things going on at the party pool each day, I loved their water aerobics at noon and each night, a different show kept us feeling like we were out on the town.

Worst all inclusive. Food was disgusting. Hotel is all little kids running around everywhere. Bottom shelf gasoline liquor. Only 1 type of beer. Rooms were ok but the AC barely worked. Literally I want my $ back. Also I was guaranteed early check in on my reservation but when I arrived at the hotel I was made to wait 5 hours for a room. Just insane. Go to Garza Blanca or the Hyatt when visiting Cancun.

Just got back from our vacation, we stayed for a week. We like to travel and stay in all riu hotels as they are fun and good for families. I read on this reviews and was really concerned and wasn't sure if i wanted to stay here with my family. Well lets start everything is beautiful. The rooms were nice nothing special than the other hotels Entertainment team was awesome, so friendly and always working hard that everyone was entertained. The food was ok after the 4 day we were over it and everything is soo far away and pricey to get a taxi. Thankfully none of us got sick nor did we not see any bad things happening they have security walking around at all times. Definitely will go back in a few years when they have built more and have more things to do.

Had a great time here with my family. The staff is hard working, kind and respectful. The rooms were clean and in order. The shows provided were great for the kids and adults. The food was decent at the buffet. I recommend going to the specialty restaurants for an upgraded experience. The water park is great as well. CONS - Water park is closed on Monday. - The shuttle is ran by an outside company so verify every thing. - Sea weed on the beach, but they manage it well. - bug bites. OVERAL Great place to visit for families. No place is perfect and every experience will vary. Plan to visit again. :)

First time in Mexico. We definitely were looking for a budget vacation. This resort did the job. Would we return? Probably not but none the less we had a good time. Food-buffet is TERRIBLE. Our stomachs turned by the end of the trip thinking about having to eat there again. But the specialty restaurants made up for it. Some were hours wait tho so that would force us back into the Buffet. Our fridge was only refilled once during our stay and we had to ask and then get upset that it never happened. Wouldn't be a huge deal except you need bottled water to brush your teeth! Drinks-just ok. Very very light on the alcohol. Can't even taste it in the drinks. Service at bars- GREAT! Cleanliness- outstanding. These people work their asses off daily and it was much noticed. Room-bed was comfy. Pillow were a little flat. Could have used one or two more. Pools-plenty to choose from and decent amount of chairs. Facility in general is very well taken care of.

We arrived Wednesday evening to celebrate our anniversary TH, 6/27, checking out M, 7/1. We weren't aware that the resort was all the way at the end of the peninsula. The vacationstogo.com agent we had said it was a 20 minute ride from the airport. NOT! Like it's a 45 -60 minute ride from the airport and going on excursions will mean tacking on an hour to the transportation time. We were surprised with balloons, towel art, & a small bottle of tequila for our anniversary. This was a nice surprise! The resort is nice and the beach is beautiful. There is plenty of seaweed but I think I read some where there is a seasonal issue so depending on when you travel you may not experience this problem. We've been to two other Riu resorts in Costa Rica & Jamaica and they were both wonderful in every way. This Riu has made me distinctly aware that not all Riu resorts are equal. The food is not as good as the other Riu resorts we've been to. Some of it wasn't seasoned as well and most of the meats were over cooked, dry. & tough. They had tamales (one of my faves) and the flavor of the chicken was good but the corn was still mushy. No bueno. The dessert selection was poor but got better during the weekend. the OJ was watered down. The juice bar in the morning was good. We took advantage of the mini bar in the room; Jose was our friend. It's good mixed with the 7Up that's in the fridge. ‍ My husband got sick with diarrhea our 2nd day. I think it was the vegetables. He ate a lot of them. They tasted funny to me the 1st day; they tasted like the smell of some cleaner so I didn't eat them afterwards and ate primarily the tacos and meats that weren't too overdone. I ate from the salad bar and fresh fruit a few times as well. He bought anti-diarrhea medicine in the gift shop for a whopping $22 USD. So pack some before you come. There's poor design with this property as there's only elevators at the main building so if you have an ocean view room you have to walk quite a ways to get to the elevators. There's also poor design in the room with the frosted glass in the shower, which is visible from the room. You can see the silhouettes on either side. Because of this, turning on the light in the bathroom means the light shines in the room also. They responded well with indoor activities when it rained with table tennis and other games. Parents need to monitor their kids better at the buffets and in the pools. I dk why kids are sitting on the stools in the pool bar. Like there's a kiddie pool and several others for that reason.

Sad but true is not a 5 start hotel . choose to ignore the bad reviews and book Riu Dunumar for a week for my family vacation . BIG MISTAKE! I booked two rooms since we are a family if six including my 2 year old . I thought this resort will be perfect for our family since it has two water park and we have a toddler and teenagers . I reserve two ocean views room and when I got there they gave me a far far away / block ocean view . I talk to them and and show them what I booked they change my rooms till he next day . I will give you positive and negative on this resort note I have been in Cancun more than 10 times travel with family and I always stay in all inclusive . POSITIVE 1. Majority of the employees are friendly with a tip 2.transportation to get there and Covid test are provided 3. Room is clean 4 . Cheap price compare to other resort 5. Nice water parks NEGATIVE 1. Far from airport 60 min and all activities. Taxi will be around $80 to $100 (family of 6 ) 2. Managers are rude to customer and their employees 3 .food is very very cheap and has no flavor . A lots of pasta .potatoes, rice options . And it's the same menu it never changes . I have been to other resorts where each day s different 4. Bottle of water only available with the receptionist 5. No room service 6. No liquor in the room . I ask if I can pay extra to have available they said no . 7.very very cheap water down alcohol 8. None of the shows they provided was professional make like other resorts . 9. Bathrooms was design very poor and it always smells 10.there is always a customer fighting for something at the reception . It makes your vacation stressful hearing always someone arguing 11. The beach it's not beautiful as they put in the pictures. It's full of seaweed .

My 2nd stay at this resort. My 4th stay at an RIU resort. My partner and I visited in February 2021. I will share some highlights below. -Check-in was a breeze. The receptionist staff were also very welcoming and friendly. We needed additional assistance throughout our stay and they provided great service. -We took our Covid test to return to the US on-site. This was provided free and we scheduled an appointment on the day we checked in. -This resort is family friendly. Shows at night cater to families including a child specific show before the main show. *If you're looking for an adult party atmosphere, this is not the location. -Our room and all areas of the hotel were clean. I think they just need to provide better discretion on the smoking areas. Many people were walking around the hotel with cigarettes -We only booked 1 excursion (through vendors on-site) as this was a trip just for relaxation. We booked the Sunset Catamaran tour to a Isla Mujeres. This was overpriced and disappointing. Snorkeling in the underwater museum lasted about 15 mins. Limited instructions were provided and only "strong swimmers" were able to get off the boat then they had to get right back on (myself included). I believe 1 person may have seen part on 1 statue only. I was promised I would have a vegetarian meal but this was not provided. They advertise "open bar" which is not necessarily true. They provide terrible tasting mixtures of margaritas, rum punch, etc. We were told we'd have 2.5hrs on Isla Mujeres with access to a beach resort. We were on the island for 3.5hrs and never got to access the beach resort. Isla Mujeres is filled with vendor, after vendor, after vendor. In the end, we regretted even leaving our hotel for this excursion. The excursion was poorly organized and I would recommend saving your money. We paid 90.00 per person (which was supposedly a discount). It basically just felt like an expensive ride to Isla Mujeres. -We had a breakfast server in the buffet area that was soooo sweet and kind! Ady provided wonderful service each and every morning! She made us feel like family -The food overall is decent. We enjoyed the buffet more than the specialty restaurants. I love how you don't have to have reservations for the specialty restaurants anymore. It's nice that they are first come, first serve. -The drinks are delicious and the staff are ready to serve! They have a variety of alcohol brands and a great drink menu. I loved the dirty banana drink! -This is located at the far end of the hotel zone. Walking along the beach by the hotel is fairly quiet and you won't get bombarded with vendors and people selling souvenirs.

My girlfriends and I had such a great time at Hotel Riu Dunamar. The hotel itself with the pools and the beach is great. The beach has quite a bit of seaweed, but that's not their fault and it was enjoyable regardless. The pools were the best part although I wish they were a bit colder (it can get quite warm in there with the sun beating down). We had such a great time in Cancun at this resort and the employees of Riu Dunamar really made the trip for us. From the bartenders to the waiters/waitresses to the activities crew, they were all so kind and helpful. We had one waitress for breakfast and lunch everyday (Adi) who was the sweetest and most helpful lady who made the best iced latte ever. If you go here, you have to try their latte and ask for a cup of ice. It's so good it doesn't even need sugar. They had a good amount of alcohol selection and made any combo of drink or shot you wanted. I always felt safe at this hotel and although the crowd may have been on the younger side, it was still a good time. The shows are generally fun to watch but karaoke night was overtaken by a bunch of 8 year olds so that was much less entertaining. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. The covid testing was made super easy. The hotel has a water park attached to it with a few water slides that are actually really fast and fun. Definitely make your way to Isla Mujeres if you stay anywhere in Cancun. It was such a fun day trip - rent a golf cart on the island and you'll have the time of your life! The biggest downfall of Riu Dunamar is the food. It's really not good so don't expect much. Throughout the week we found things we liked amongst the copious amounts of food that were sub par. You get what you pay for in this regard, though. The Asian buffet that is an a la cart restaurant had the best food of all of the restaurants. The buffet gets old because they have the same food for lunch and dinner. The guacamole is made right though. Very yummy - I put that stuff on everything. Fried plantains also delicious although they soaked so much oil into them I had to pat it off with a napkin before eating.

Transportation to and from the resort was booked through the travel agent as a part of the wedding package. The beachfront view was not great. We could see the beach but the location of the resort is in an area that is not picturesque or scenic. Video below. The walk from the resort to the pools, restaurants, etc, is pretty far, especially in the sun but it's a doable walk. It took about 3 and a half minutes to walk the distance but it's not good if you're drunk. The restaurant food was not good at all. The items that should have salt didn't and the items that should have salt did. For example, the steakhouse had an over breaded and overfried crab cake and the breakfast buffet appeared to put salt on pork bacon. The alcohol was watered down. The prices at the spa and gift shop were similar to American pricing with a couples massage costing nearly $600 USD for 60 minutes and a medium can of Pringles costing $8 USD. There's an art studio to paint but it lacks ventilation and the fumes are strong. The beach is covered in seaweed but the sand is beautiful and the view is nice. There are excursions. We used Amstar to and from the airports and to book our dolphin excursion. They were pricey but worth the experience. We did the supreme dolphin experience for 2 and it cost about $340 USD (pictures are additional). Ultimately, I would rate the hotel a 3 Star in comparison to US Hotels. It was nice but I wouldn't do it again, granted the country wasn't for me, as I like autonomy when I travel (ability to drive, come and go as I please, etc.) and Mexico didn't do that for me. The size of the resort initially threw us off - it is much smaller than your typical resort, but it also caters to a smaller crowd for (their words) "a boutique experience." It seemed dead until we got close to the beach area and the swim-up bar. This is where the people hang out. Dinner at El Mar our first night was amazing - excellent seafood (check out the pics) and service. We ate twice each at Lupita Steakhouse and La Isla. Unfortunately, the hotel kept changing the schedule of which restaurant would be open what night. This threw off our dinner plans more than once, and we spent more time at La Isla (with the least exciting menu) getting eaten by mosquitoes than we cared for. During our stay, the beach snacks menu also changed. It went from a delicious two-page menu to a sad one-pager; gross nachos and hot dogs, anyone? Online, people went on full-on rants about this. It turns out the menus across all the Excellence resorts are being stream-lined to the new executive chef's "vision." Some people, from what I read online, are now considering cancelling their reservations, not wanting to fly all the way here for waffles and burgers. On top of the rebranding, the hotel is also undergoing renovations to bring it up to modern times. We thought our room was beautiful, but it was a tad outdated. For customer service, though - the Excellence brand will not settle for less than, well, excellence. All of our interactions with staff at all levels was top-notch. Because of the vibe here - we didn't talk to anyone but hotel staff for four whole days. Staff shout-outs: Denise, Luis, Fernando and Fabiola at the beach; Octavio and Bernice at the spa; Andrea, Aina, and Alexander at guest services; Pasquale, Alex, and Elvis at pool side; Cirilo and Vanya at El Mar, Brenda at La Isla, and Alberto and Barbra at Lupita. Fantastic job, everyone! Vibe: 5/5. Food: 3/5. Room: 4/5. Customer service: 10/10!!!!!

In past stays on the island, we rented a golf cart and due to the location of this property, did not need to do so. Fantastic location. The front desk was closed, when we arrived, and had to get an on-site spa masseuse call the hotel manager so we could check-in. Once we connected with the manager, things went very smooth. We arrived to the room, we realized that It had two queen beds rather than the king bed that we reserved. Spoke to the manager and she advised that the rooms with king beds had broken ac. Special note- the manager, Alex, communicated very well, attentive to our needs and offered excellent customer service. She was impressive. The room was clean, large, with all accommodations "as advertised." We were impressed with the cleanliness of the room. It had a mini kitchen, medium sized fridge, and nice closet. The facility offered beach towels in addition to bathroom towels. The towels were of high quality and nice. Our first night, we experienced the ac not cooling well, notified Alex and she promptly addressed our concern and we were very happy. The pool was clean. Spa was not working. Area outside of our hotel room was clean and well-groomed for a tropical type setting. Love the occasional iguana's roaming freely through the area as this contributed to the positive experience. We understand that the price point of this hotel is on the lower end. Based on this we rated it as 4. The hotel is in a fantastic location. Do not expect luxurious accommodations. We would stay here again.

After asking the staff if our seats would be secured while we went to lunch and the answer was a big yes that our preferred seats were saved. We come back from lunch to find our seats taken. Who knows what kinda stuff might happen. I'd highly recommend you resolve this issue as I don't see myself coming back here. Cheers UPDATE: I happened to run in to our original friend Freddy and he completely helped turn it all around. We spent basically our entire vacation at the Jungle pool! Freddy is an absolutely amazing asset! Eduardo, Pedro and Arturo as well as Jaime all helped to make our stay incredible! Yes we had something unfortunate happen but what matters is how it is addressed and this resort stepped up to the plate and hit a home run! We paid approximately $17,000 for this vacation, so it was disappointing that throughout the resort there were several instances where staff seemed to be expecting additional tips, creating an awkward atmosphere. I understand that some employees may not have known our package included gratuities, but it still left us feeling uncomfortable. We have previously stayed at Secrets Akumal and Secrets The Vine, and both experiences were exceptional. We love the Secrets brand and were excited to try this property. The resort itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and very clean. Some staff members were genuinely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the level of service was inconsistent throughout our stay, and we encountered multiple situations where staff members were unhelpful, unfriendly, or simply rude. As Preferred Club guests, we checked in through the Preferred Lounge. One of our rooms had a significant mosquito problem. When I asked the Preferred concierge if anything could be done, I was repeatedly told there was nothing they could do. Only after I continued to press the issue was I told the room could be fumigated. The concierge took down the requested date and time, but when we followed up the next day, no one had any record of the request, and we had to start the process all over again. The food experience was also inconsistent. Our first dinner at El Patio was excellent, but when we returned another evening, much of the food was overcooked and dry. One of the cocktails we ordered was noticeably missing sweetness. We knew this because we had been ordering the same drink throughout the resort. When we politely mentioned it to our server, he repeatedly insisted nothing was wrong with it. My husband suggested it might simply need more syrup. Instead of taking the drink back to have it corrected, the server brought a bottle of syrup to the table. His demeanor throughout the interaction was cold and dismissive. Another disappointing experience occurred on our final morning. My parents went to Market Café for breakfast by themselves and sat patiently for quite some time without anyone taking their drink order. My mother eventually approached a server to ask for assistance. That employee spoke with the server assigned to their section, but no one ever came to the table. My mother had to seek help a second time before receiving service. Ironically, near the end of the meal, the assigned server finally appeared and asked how everything was. The entire situation felt bizarre and completely avoidable. These experiences were surprising because they are not what we have come to expect from the Secrets brand or from a five-star resort. We don't know whether the service issues were related to the fact that gratuities were already included in our package or if there were other factors involved. We would have gladly tipped additional staff members for exceptional service if gratuities had not already been included. While the property itself is beautiful, the inconsistent service significantly impacted our overall experience. Unfortunately, based on this stay, we would not return to this resort.

You wouldn't think it is a resort looking at it from the outside. Okay well I was still wing a little optimistic about the place. We arrived and it is is all open. Nothing glamorous about the entrance. There is one check in desk with one person. The wait was long to get checked in and to our room. It is old you can tell but for me that's not too important as long as the customer service is on point. We got shown to our room and the room was so refreshing it was cold and clean. The mini bar was all inclusive big plus. We got the room facing the pool. Very nice view the pool is pretty big. Not so new but still nice. Food: It usually is buffet style but that was closed and that sucked!!!! You had to order off a menu and the staff wasn't quite on point with the service only but a few were. In the morning they come to you with a cart full of fruit yogurt oats granola and pan dulce sweet bread. However they don't announce what else they have on the cart. We missed out on homemade juices. Pretty upset by that. We only knew because we saw someone drinking a green cleanse drink and so we asked. The food from the ceviche hut was good it's not heavy just right. But our server had the worst service. Was a little on the flustered side maybe overworked but he also was knowledgeable on the areas around the hotel which he should be. Staff: There a few good nice ones and the other few just plain rude. The hotel lacked a lot of supplies and food. No ingredients for mojitos, no straws, no plastic cups, or other things that a hotel should carry. They close all the bars and restaurants at 7! Really what is that. However the room service staff was great they went above and beyond. We complained and the only thing to make us feel better they put flowers on the floors maybe on our anniversary or honeymoon. But that was not good enough. I would not return to this place again nor will I recommend it to friends. This is more for older couples who want no noise or a party seen. It is a quiet place to relax.

But we read a lot of reviews at Yelp, trip advisor, ect, and the reviews are mostly glowing and no mention of anything that could be better. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort, but there were a few things that could have been better. But thus was overall the best AI and we will return. Shootout to an exceptional employee Jhordy at inspira pool who went way above and hope to see next time. Our butlers, Ping Ting and Aline were fabulous.. and will request them next time. They made everything run smoother and got us ALL the reservations at the times we wanted. Def would have not happened w/o a butler. Not intrusive at all. appreciated fuss made for our 27th anniversary . A lot sets this apart from other all inclusives. I feel the food and the cocktails are better and more selecting. We often are celebrating either a birthday or anniversary on vacation, and they always ask at resorts. But then nothing is ever done or said to honor it, which is disappointing. That was not the case here. It seemed every server congratulated us on what we are celebrating. made us feel very special, plus I assume the butlers sent roses and champagne with a big chocolate heart to our room. very much appreciated. It might seem childish, but these dates mean something to me, and I appreciate when they are acknowledged. This is a fairly new resort, and everything seems very clean and well kept. The staff was warm, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. If they were understaffed or having a bad day, they sure hid it. Love the way the common areas and bathrooms smell ... omg you will see. I love the fragrance of the molten brown amenities ..going to buy some. Our inspira swim out room was large, quiet, and luxurious. Well-appointed and lovely. The tub was amazing, but they don't have shampoo and conditioner in that area, and the areas they do have amenities it's locked in, so you can't move it. Is inspira worth the extra? We did it both times. Would not risk being upgraded to an inspire Without the cost. Inspira gives you more access, and I believe a bump in service. If you are fortunate enough to afford it then get it ... if not then don't. In the reviews, I didn't run across many with even minor complaints that they could improve, but there are always things that could be better. I'm gonna put those in the tip area ,so if they want to improve a bit on an already great resort. I love it here and the staff are the truly the best. What signs they have are easy Missed And they don't have a lot of signs directing you especially to area that used to be for families. Personally, I think they wanted to make it harder for the family.People to come over to the all adult area back when it was two different resorts. Now that it. 's all adult I really think they should figure out a way to make it easier to navigate. We didn't know that there was a restaurant that had Buffet for all three meals Until halfway through our second Visit. Well i'm gonna leave some tips In the tip area. Because I don't want this to seem like I had a bad trip. This was incredibly relaxing and luxurious and wonderful. Exceptional staff make all the difference. Mixologists at Calle bar are so fun to watch them create liquid art. No one ignored us and no bad attitudes. I would say one of ... possibly the best all inclusive we have tried in all our travels. Sorry sandals, excellence, secrets, Iberostar u have been out done. employees went above the call bring lots of tip money.

Five star all-inclusive and adults only resort!…read more Newly opened resort about 40 mins from Cancun airport and 20 minutes further from hotel zone. Our reservations was for (7) days and the length of time felt right. We booked two excursions; (i) visit Chichen Itza on a tour; and (ii) visit Playa Mujeres on a catamaran. Chicen Itza is a "must do" if you visit Cancun for the first-time (no question). Following our two excursions it was back to the resort to relax, eat and sleep! The resort has (7) eateries from avant garde, to breakfast buffet, steakhouse, italian, american, asian and pastry cafe. The exquisite culinary cuisines at each restaurant was phenomenal but the steakhouse, asian and buffet ranked highest for me. The bars on property were sexy and classy from the rooftop ocean views, lobby and swim up bars with the staff making our experience special. By far, the sky bar and lobby bar were the spots for me each day serving "top shelf drinks". There is also no need to leave your room if you're hungry, room service was impeccable by bringing your meals in a warm service cart with all the condiments and proper silverware. I highly recommend the New York Strip! There is no denying feeling compelled to stay on property to maximize an all-inclusive, but this is one property I'd have no issues being stranded at. Service is first-class, staff is highly attentive and respectful of your privacy and the resort is highly luxurious. If the opportunity to splurge on a room permits, I'd recommend the swim up pool on the ground floor(s) to enjoy swimming under the stars at night with that someone special, you'll forever remember those moments.
