TRS Coral is a wonderful property! The grounds are well maintained and everything is clean and organized. The team members we encountered were both personable, helpful, and kind. We rarely had an issue during our Christmas stay but when we did it was satisfactorily handled. The grounds, to include the sister family resort, are expansive and worth checking out. However, we did appreciate the adult only side that we stayed on. The food was good, we never left a meal disappointed, although we had our favorites. The drinks were plentiful with several top shelf options. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and appreciated the laid back atmosphere, focus on reducing waste, and the slower pace the resort offers. Beautiful resort and grounds. We loved the adult only vibe of this hotel. We had a great check in experience with Priscilla and room was upgraded due to my diamond status with Wyndham to a swim up room. It was spectacular. Probably the most beautiful room I have ever stayed in. The swim up pool connected to room was a perfect place to enjoy room service breakfast and have a morning dip and start the day right. And a great place to cool down at night long after the main pool closed. We had great service at the main pool from Brayan. He remembered us and our drink order. We purposely sat in his area both days because the service was spectacular. The food was not amazing but that's to be expected at all Inclusives. What was most frustrating was the reservation system or lack there of. The butler service wasn't very helpful and the website would say places were open and you'd show up and they were actually closed. Our favorite meal was at Portofino on the Grand Palladium side. If looking for a truly relaxing adult getaway TRS Coral is the spot. read more

My husband and I were guests of TRS Coral last month and we were very excited to enjoy a five star stay, however we did not experience the level of excellence that is expected from a five star hotel. Upon check in, we discovered half eaten food and other garbage in the mini fridge in our room. The safe was also broken however that was easily fixed so we were looking forward to the rest of the stay being an enjoyable experience. The same day we checked in, the toilet in our room broke after being flushed. The water in the bowl was constantly flowing which created condensation all over the toilet. We asked that it be fixed, however after a staff member reported to the room to fix the toilet, it again broke after being flushed. This resulted in us not having a fully functional toilet in our room until the last day of our stay at which point a staff member had to spend over an hour fixing the toilet properly. We had come to this resort looking for a romantic getaway and instead were left with awkward encounters involving unflushed toilets. At no point were we offered any recourse regarding this issue, such as moving to a different room. A number of other issues also occurred during the stay which in light of the toilet issue, we somewhat overlooked but nevertheless contribute to our overall feeling of disappointment regarding our stay at TRS. The hotel is either chronically understaffed or inefficiently operated as every single eatery within the TRS property had very long wait times despite only half of the dining area being full. For lunch at Helios when we asked if we could sit at one or the dozens of free tables we were told there wasn't enough waitstaff. For dinner at Gaucho we waited for fifty five minutes to be seated. We then sat for another twenty minutes before our order was taken. That's an hour and a half of waiting before having ordered any food. When the food finally did come, the steak was inedible. In terms of the spa, our butler informed us that he could get us an excellent deal of 30% off two massages and encouraged us to book asap which we did. At the pool later that day, a spa rep in a blue shirt advised us that this is not a good deal at all and he could give us two for one on massages. We had already signed the paperwork for the massages with our butler so we felt ripped off. It also undermines the sincerity of the service to your guests. The actual property itself is one of the most beautiful resorts we have ever seen so we were extremely disappointed when the experience didn't match the gorgeous setting. For these reasons we would not be inclined to revisit TRS, especially not for a romantic anniversary like we had planned. UPDATE: TRS have accused me of failing to report the recurring issue with the broken toilet and once I provided evidence by screenshots they have ghosted me. Disgusting customer service. We are here for a wedding and the resort is amazing! Staff is absolutely incredible, pool is warm with more than enough chairs so no need to run down early to claim on. Great food and drinks. Rooms are comfortable and the butler service is very helpful. Make sure you download WhatsApp and make dinner reservations ahead of time. Steak at the steakhouse isn't as good as the steak at the French restaurant. Wedding was a hit and so fun! read more

This was our first time in Cancun and to say the least--I have no words to describe how beautiful it is. We were there for a wedding, which was the perfect excuse to indulge in new experiences. Here's the full rundown of my trip, from airport arrival to departure, to hopefully help other first-time Cancun travelers. Arrival & Shuttle TRS Coral is a large property featuring both an adults-only section and a family section. Our wedding group stayed on the adults-only side, which is all-inclusive. The wedding package included shuttle service (about a 40-minute ride from the airport). The resort also arranges shuttles for a fee if not booked in advance. At the Cancun airport, be prepared for a wave of people trying to sell shuttle services or free excursions. We simply said "thank you" and kept walking until we found our driver. The drive into the city is lively, clean, and filled with familiar American restaurants. The final stretch toward the resort is paved but a bit bumpy. Resort Check-In Security is tight at the gates, which was reassuring. Our flight landed at 8:55 AM, and we reached the resort around 10:40 AM. Our booking confirmation stated check-in at noon, but the front desk informed us rooms would not be available until 3 PM. After waking up at 2 AM for travel, we were running on fumes. We were given wristbands, encouraged to enjoy the pool, and offered an upgrade (for a fee). Initially, we declined because we already booked a Swim-Up Junior Suite, but by 3 PM our room still wasn't ready. When we finally agreed to the upgrade, the room assigned had someone else's welcome package waiting in it--champagne, snacks, and even an envelope with another guest's name. After some back-and-forth with our e-butler, we were reassigned to a room in the same building as our group with a so-called "beach view" (closer to the beach, but not truly beachfront). The Property & Amenities The adults-only side is beautiful, featuring: * A pool with a swim-up bar * Plenty of cabanas and loungers * Consistent food and drink service The property is sprawling, with multiple restaurants, shops, and bars. While you can walk, the 24/7 golf cart service makes it much easier. Dinner reservations are encouraged, and with good reason--the variety is fantastic: sushi, Italian, French, steakhouses, and a sports bar open 24/7. Service & Snags One hiccup: on our last day, our room's pool was undergoing maintenance. We had planned to relax on our patio with coffee before our departure, so this was disappointing. The front desk even asked us for proof--so if you have issues, always take pictures. Once I showed them photos of the maintenance crew in the water, they acknowledged the problem. That said, the service staff was phenomenal throughout the stay. They work incredibly hard to make sure you're happy, and tipping them is well worth it. The Beach The highlight of TRS Coral is the beach itself--absolutely stunning. Picture white sand, aquamarine water, and clear blue skies. It's the postcard-perfect view that makes Cancun unforgettable. Final Thoughts Despite a few bumps along the way, the resort and the overall experience were wonderful. We enjoyed the wedding, the food, the beach, and the friendly staff. By the end, we were already planning when we could come back. First time at TRS Coral but have stayed at multiple other places in Playa Mujeres/Costa Mujeres & Cancun. I wanted to like this place so much more than we did. Overall food was actually pretty good (service was slow) and the beach was wadeable & well kept which i appreciated. There seemed to be more food options on the Grand Palladium side (not adults only) and it was a quick walk that we didn't mind doing. Approximately 40 min from the airport. Took private transport which was pretty easy (arranged through Costco). Check in process was easy enough although the employee at the front desk said he couldn't help us get our app set up so we could make dinner reservations & deferred us to our Butler who we didn't meet till the next afternoon). I was able to figure out the app by myself but most places required the Butler to make the reservation. We got a beach view room & the view was worth it although we tried to stay there as minimal as possible. first time with butler service (shout out to Jimmy & Fernando) - both very nice & professional and made sure we had all of our reservations and things lined up! Really appreciated their service. The rooms were not very updated and the sheets/linens were often dirty (visible stains). Air conditioning in the room was not well ventilated. beds were not comfortable-- my back was on fire every night. there was a tub in the room that we wanted to use on the last night since there's no jacuzzi on site (other than in the Spa) but it was dirty. The spa experience was okay overall-- i really felt rushed during the hydrotherapy circuit and the salt room was fairly pointless. they were nice enough to give us extra time in the jacuzzi but they shuffled us from one room to the next (sauna, steam room , salt room, cry room, jacuzzi, pool) fairly quickly. read more

Beautiful hotel and resort. My family had a blast the five days we spent here. Every single staff member was so kind, hospitable, and helpful towards us. My favorite part had to be seeing the different types of iguanas throughout the resort, just crawling around as if they own the entire place lol my brother's wedding was hosted here and we all had an amazing time. I had extended family fly in from all over and everyone was accommodated in a comfortable manner. From the butlers, to room service, to the yummy restaurants, to having the convenient golf cart service, the resort is overall very relaxing and therapeutic to reside at. My family and I had a very memorable experience. Majority of my family stayed on the family side of the hotel. My cousin and I had booked a junior suite with a swimout on the adult side. My suite was beautiful and I slept like a log in my bed. The cabana in the back was also very cozy to lay on. I also enjoyed the rainwater shower in my bathroom. 5-star experience! read more

We decided last year to do a girls trip and this past February that vacation came true. 5 of us in total, 2, 2, and 1 is how we divided up and I will say, really loved this resort! The weather was pretty perfect for the whole trip and this resort is very walkable, but you were able to hop onto a golf cart for a quicker trip, or they did have a boat you could pop on as well. The room was beautiful with an ocean and pool view. The room itself was super spacious. the bathroom was open, sink and tub you could close off with a large curtain, but I did find it odd that the shower and toilet did not really have a fully closing door, so hope if you're rooming with a friend you don't have an issue with that. We didn't notice that there was a paper with instructions once we entered our rooms, to contact your butler thru WhatsApp but I don't think we really needed them anyway. When we tried to book dinners, we ran into some 'they're full' issue, but my friend bribed our way in, successfully and happily. Really no complaints on the food. The pool was fantastic, although the swim up bar at our part of the hotel was closed so we did one day join the family pool which had the swim up bar open but then you also got the kids splashing in your face. You'll see a lot of, what one staff member called, Mexican Alligators lol. My friend was obsessed with them and they are everywhere. The spa is 1000% worth it. So one massage 80 minutes was like $300 which we were like pass. But than one girl had booked before we got there and got 40% off. After breakfast, a gentleman from the spa was hanging out by the door and asked if we wanted to book, we mentioned the 40% off and he gave us 50% off! So were like heck yeah, book all 4 of us. He told us to get there early to do the Hydrotherpay and I will tell you, I have never laughed so hard at my experience. I can't ruin the surprise but do this and then go into the stunning pool. And make your way upstairs to do some like beet/ginger/lime shots. Super refreshing. The ladies in my group enjoyed all the drinks and I started to get like a strawberry daiquiri but no alcohol. In the states, saying no alcohol first thing I get is oh, are you pregnant??. Here, the guys were like, oh, you driving? lol Yeah, I'm driving. TRS Coral was without a doubt the best place my fiancé and I have ever stayed. Every single part of staying here was top notch. I have done an all-inclusive once before and it does not even come close to comparing to the experience I had here. The rooms themselves were immaculate - we ended up upgrading to the swim-up room because we were celebrating our engagement and wanted to splurge a bit, and we are so glad we did. Every suite gets a butler assigned to it. We were BLESSED to have Hector and Naysin as our butlers, they were the best! They handled all of our dinner reservations, got us booked for hydrotherapy at the spa, and even arranged for a gorgeous surprise with champagne and roses to celebrate our anniversary. They were kind, thoughtful, and managed every request with ease. Thank you Hector and Naysin! We spent so much time in our private pool area, and Ulysses and Jaime made sure we were never thirsty :) They delivered us margaritas whenever we needed a refill. The resort is HUGE so the best way to get around is golf carts. We met Jose Antonio during one of our golf cart rides, and he became an instant friend of ours! He was so happy and kind, we loved spending time with him. Raymundo and Mariano were our FANTASTIC waiters at Chang Thai, which was one of our fav dining experiences by the way. Alex got the chicken wings and chicken pad thai, I got the summer rolls and tofu pad thai - both were excellent. We did a tequila tasting with Miranda as well. She was fun and engaging, and even taught us a new way to take tequila shots (lime first THEN shot - this is news to me!). Overall we had such a great experience here that we now want to get married here. That is how much fun we had. It was just so exquisitely beautiful and everyone who works there is so kind - they make it so incredibly easy to fall in love with TRS. I can't wait to be back, and we can't wait to hopefully tie the knot here soon and bring everyone we love most! read more

I keep going over maybe a hidden maximum character limit so I will try to be detailed yet brief about this mostly inclusive resort. This review has been cut in half. Day 1: I'm here for a wedding and they made so many mistakes/mess ups from the start. When I got to my room there was still stuff from the previous customer and the TV showed the room was still registered to someone else. They had us fill out a request form and nothing was fulfilled. We were supposed to get 2 complementary bottles of choice and requested snacks but nothing was there at our room for hours. Some people didn't get their allotment of bottles and we only got an unlisted tequila instead. Breakfast buffet as Isla Blanca: Food was sub par. Best thing was their omelette station and even that wasn't very good. I was served a torn up broken omelette. Capricho: has both an a la carte menu and a buffet. The buffet and molcajete meats were so tough and bland. Desserts were also lacking severely in any flavor. Their regular menu items that were ordered by the group no one liked. Day 2: At the beach they have tons of beach chairs but need more umbrellas for shade. They have servers at the beach so thats a plus but they can take a while. They have a small bar/shack near the walkway to the beach so when we wanted drinks ASAP, we went there. They offer activities like parasailing, paddle boarding. Try to haggle with them because our friends got us good deals/discounts. We enjoyed the parasailing; they took us very high in the sky. They also took pics and videos of us for a price. They give you everything on an SD card. They looked pretty decent at first glance. Helios: had the best food we had. We ordered the paella, shrimp aguachile, the chipotle pasta, bacon carbonara, the burger (same as the room service burger) and the Philly cheesesteak. Still not GOOD food but the best place so far. The Philly Cheesesteak and aguachile were probably the best. The soft serve is a perfect balance of refreshing and sweet. Tentazione: the Italian restaurant is large with a beautiful interior. They have a beautiful bar right by the entrance. For me the food was terrible here. They have a self serve charcuterie bar. The fried fish appetizer was the best thing I had. Nice crunch, decent flavor and portion size. The gnocchi was poorly cooked and clumpy. The pizza was watery so and I didn't try it. My shrimp and strawberry risotto was so bland and watery but the worst part was that the rice was only half cooked and hard in the middle. The sports bar is large enough to accommodate multiple groups like ours of 30-40 people. They couldn't get us any of the games we wanted to watch on TV. They have foosball tables, a pool table, and a reaction time game that gave you a chance to play their racing simulator which costs you $20 for 6 minutes if you don't win the game. The Mayan Cocktail tasted like slightly flavored water. It had no taste of the listed elements. Gravity bar: Our go-to spot for the group to close out the night. Most people loved the live music and karaoke. Day 3: The spa includes a massage and unlimited access to other amenities like: shower, dry sauna, cold room, wet sauna(?),cold plunge, hot pool(?). Upstairs they had 1 of many infinity pools and a health bar offering things like ginger shots, salads, yogurt parfaits and smoothies. This was my favorite thing next to parasailing. During the wedding, the chapel got HOT and needed AC. The reception was outside and they set up a very cute lighted spot for us all. Food was served buffet style, they had bars on opposite corners and they even had a churro cart! Very cute setup overall. Some people were complaining about the music choices of the DJ but I didn't mind it. Miscellaneous stuff: Checkout is at 12pm which is def a plus so you don't have to rush out in the morning. The Rafa Nadal Tennis center is located within the resort as well. It has tennis courts, paddle ball courts and a soccer field and a museum. Any tennis fan should check it out. All of the bars did a great job keeping up with our shots and drinks so respect there. They have decent WiFi here with great coverage. I only didn't have coverage at the rooftop bar. Room service at night was a mess. I don't recommend ordering on the app; place the order on the TV and call room service to confirm it. The 1st night I ordered on the app over 1 hour in advance and they never saw the order til I called to cancel it. Butlers communicate via WhatsApp and their hotel app but it's unreliable. If you need something asap it's best to call the front desk. Make reservations at restaurants ASAP with your butler because places book up quick. The shuttle service runs nonstop through common areas until 2am and you can even schedule a shuttle in advance. Overall: Considering how much we paid for this "all inclusive" resort, we have all been extremely disappointed. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Lovely views, however Extremely Disorganized, bad communication amongst staff, food quality issues, basic room needs not met, transportation issues. From the first day our keys that were secured to our wrists stopped working. You have to go to the lobby to fix this. this happened again 2 days later, and upon returning to unlock the door it was not working again. Upon arriving we were told we had a 24/7 butler we could text whenever we needed anything, we texted them through out this trip and they were not receptive to requests like "can you bring water" and would go hours without a response. Restaurants on property all require a reservation made by 3 pm or you will not have dinner, especially on days when the buffets are closed, causing us to look for delivery options...which aren't available. Possibly the worst problem is when we needed transportation to the airport from the hotel, TRS Corals website offered transportation so we booked through them. the company they offered was "amstar" at 11:45. On the morning of our departure we woke up early to ask the front desk if we could make pickup a couple hours later. Front desk said to ask the bellhop outside, bellhop outside we confirmed with in English and Spanish that the amstar car comes throughout the day to pick up and we would be fine. We even confirmed this with an employee in the front lobby at 1 pm to which she said "no problem you have 30 minutes it will come". We still saw no cars so we called amstar themselves and they said there were no cars coming. Upon letting the front desk know the entire situation and asking them to set us up with more transportation, they instead decided to call the bellhop over to start an argument about if he ever told us that. They did not help at all and we were forced to rent an uber. To give context this is an all inclusive resort, where all of these things were promised to us before even purchasing. all of this isn't even mentioning the extreme quality drop in the food past 10 pm despite charging extra for late night delivery. undercooked meat, pizzas barely covered in cheese. once again a lovely place to look at and when the amenities work it's a relaxing time, unfortunately too much of our trip was spent trying to get the right information and being run round in circles because no one is really on the same page here. read more

I was surprised to see that there aren't many reviews for the Grand Palladium restaurants at Costa Mujeres, so I'd like to add some thoughts and recommendations for anyone staying at the resort. There are around 20 different restaurants or so in the resort, and with so many options, it was a bit difficult for me to try all of them, especially since several require reservations or have limited operating hours. El Gaucho is a steakhouse that opens in the evenings and is reservation-only, made through contacting the restaurant or member services. The meal was phenomenal, and over the course of a week, I ate at El Gaucho on three separate occasions. One of the specialties of the restaurant is the sweetbreads, also known as mollejas or calf pancreas. Back home in California, it's pretty much impossible to find this specific cut, especially because it's highly perishable and not well-known. At El Gaucho, they seared the sweetbreads to perfection, creating the buttery, crispy bite that is simply unforgettable. Some other excellent dishes I had were the ribeye cooked to perfection and the citrus sorbet, which brought the meal to a sweet/tangy conclusion. I've had the opportunity to try many of the other dishes at the restaurant, such as the peach salad, the mashed potatoes, and the clams, all of which were also delicious. Pros: Friendly service and meals freshly made to order. Mollejas and any of the steak cuts are phenomenal. Cons: Very strict with the reservation policy. Best to make a reservation at least a day in advance, but new reservations become available every Saturday after 2 p.m. read more

SAVE YOUR MONEY & Go somewhere CLEANER with better service I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my stay at the TRS Coral Hotel in Costa Mujeres Mexico. From check in 3/23/25 that was delayed 3 hours to checkout which lacked baggage assistance our group had a awful experience ranging from FILTHY rooms (used shower caps in our shower, spray tan on the white couches, stains on all the linen in the 2 different rooms we entered, to chewed gum all over the vanity on check in) to noise disturbances, to bodily injuries due to broken glass and unresponsive room service to unhelpful reception staff. We had to change rooms 3 times due to significant issues during our stay (primarily with cleanliness) and with those changes we have had issues with room access and key activation DAILY requiring us visit the front desk to have our bracelets reactivated exposing us to the constant unfriendly concierge staff (at first we weren't sure if it was a language barrier or just frustration of our ongoing issues but I dreaded having to speak with them regularly to get access to the rooms). We were even walked in on by staff "checking the room" while unclothed/in bikinis. Initially we were offered a refund for our stay to move hotels then after trying to coordinate transportation to change staff denied the refund and we were stuck. The pros? food was good, cocktails had quality liquor and the food service was wonderful. As someone who has been vacationing in Mexico for the last 10 years annually, I would never return to this resort. It was actually so bad from start to finish this is the first time I've ever left a review for the hotel. Stayed at TRS Coral after watching Love is Blind & I had a wedding to attend here. It was my first time in Cancun and it was GORGEOUS. The sand, the water, the views, and weather were perfect! This 5 star, all inclusive resort felt so fake 5 star. It's a beautiful resort at a glance, especially since Love is Blind was shot here, people are going to expect 5 star services. The rooms were nice and clean, and our room had a giant balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean. There's 24 hour room service where you can order food from the TV. A butler assists with anything needed at the time of stay. To get around the resort you can go by golf cart, walk, or boat. Complaints: we were informed every mode of transportation would be available every 15 minutes, but it was more like you had to walk around until you found a golf cart or boat to catch, in order to get around. Our fridge and AC in our room was broken and they didn't do anything about it. We ordered water 2 times and it never came. Room service takes about an hour to come. There's plenty of restaurants here and the butler can assist with making reservations for dinner. The food was below mid. The room service pizza, tacos, and quesadillas were actually not edible because it tasted like cardboard. We ate at two breakfast buffets at different restaurants, but they served the same thing. For dinner we ate at a steakhouse El Dorado, which was the only good thing we had the entire stay. The poolside food was just okay, we had chicken and tacos, but it still didn't fill that authentic Mexican food void. Complaints: restaurant reservations are not guaranteed-- they're more random than anything. We came here with a group of 98 people and every other family was able to get reservations at certain restaurants. Each restaurant would say a different excuse too like members only or they're all booked up. You could easily buy your way into restaurants by handing them cash LOL. I think they were lacking on the hospitality aspect of a 5 star resort. Some workers were mean, pushy, or just not attentive. We had some positive experiences with workers, but more negative. They also have people walking around the resort offering free massages, which is their way of luring you into buying a time share with them LOL. My mom had planned a birthday surprise for me by arranging with the butler, but she was ghosted through text. She had to find the butler in person and they agreed to set up the room for more $$ LOLLLL. When we were checking out, it was 4 am and the elevators were off so we had to carry our bags downstairs and walk to the lobby. I wish I loved this place!! It is so beautiful and has potential to be a perfect 5 stars. But it is really so fake 5 stars!!! The alcohol was the only saving grace at this point hahaha. read more

Beautiful Resort, but Unfortunately Not the Experience We Hoped For I stayed at TRS Coral Resort with my best friend for seven nights (Sept 23-30) for a much-needed girls' getaway. We booked the Junior Suite Swim Up Beachside Ocean View and were really excited based on all the amazing reviews. I'm not going to give a number rating because our experience was so up and down so instead, here's what we loved and what really missed the mark. For context, I come from a hospitality background, specifically within resorts and management. Attention to detail is huge for me, because I know firsthand how much the little things matter. I naturally notice details, the kind that make a stay great, good, or just plain horrible. Cons (Let's start with the hard part) The room: The biggest issue, and honestly what ruined the experience for us, was what we found in the shower, live black worms, maybe an inch long, too many to count, that appeared once the water was turned on. They were mainly in the corners, which makes me think it was a cleaning issue. We recorded it and immediately sent the video to management. They came to "deep clean" while we were away from the property, but honestly, after that, I knew I'd never return or recommend the resort. There was no compensation or follow-up beyond the cleaning, which was extremely disappointing. At first glance, the room looked nice, but once you settled in, it felt dated, with peeling wallpaper, stains on the walls, hair on the sheets, and sheets that were honestly itchy. There was even an empty soda can tucked into the ceiling arch where the bathroom lights are (clearly missed during cleaning). It's the kind of thing you can overlook at a budget hotel, but not at a resort with these prices. Restaurants: One of the main reasons we booked TRS Coral was for the wide variety of dining options. On day one, we quickly learned that without advance reservations, you'll likely be turned away from most restaurants. Thankfully, there's always the buffet as a backup. Reservations are done through your butler via WhatsApp, which is fine once you figure it out, but you definitely need to text early in the day to get a decent time slot. Once we got the hang of it, it wasn't a big deal. The bigger issue was food quality. We tried over eight restaurants during our stay, and only three were worth revisiting. A few times, I sent my meal back and ordered something else because it just wasn't good. For a property of this level, that was a huge letdown. By the end, we'd find a spot we liked and say, "Ugh, I wish we had found this one earlier in the trip." Pros (What we did love) The staff: Every single staff member we interacted with was kind, helpful, and professional. Even when we reported the shower issue, they responded quickly. You can tell the team genuinely enjoys working in hospitality, which really stood out. The spa: Hands down the highlight of the entire trip. The spa is incredibly massive, peaceful, and filled with amazing wellness amenities: multiple pools, a wellness bar, and an incredibly skilled team. My massage therapist was one of the best I've ever had. Yes, one shower head was broken, and the door to the shower area was so uneven it caused a loud noise when opening (so much so that my therapist rushed in thinking something happened!), but honestly, the massage was so good I didn't even care. The drinks: Drinks were plentiful, but definitely on the lighter side. We had to ask for them a little stronger, which the bartenders were happy to do. The room (the part we loved): Our swim-up room was perfect. It felt like our own private little pool, peaceful, close to the main pool, and with servers who would bring us drinks right to our cabana while we listened to music and relaxed. I'm so glad we chose this over the two-story option. The resort grounds: The property is beautiful and full of wildlife, lots of iguanas, which I thought I'd hate, but they were actually harmless and fun to spot. The shuttle system around the resort was super efficient, which was a huge plus since the resort is so spread out. Final Thoughts: I really wanted to love TRS Coral, and in some ways, I did. The staff, the spa, the pool, and the setting were all wonderful. But the cleanliness issues, especially what we found in the shower, completely overshadowed everything else. The resort is beautiful! The majority of the people that work here are friendly. I checked a lot of reviews and thought the food was going to be good, but it was below average which was the most disappointing part. Plain vanilla ice cream actually tasted weird, the coffee was noticeably bad, and the soda tasted watered down. Two of us ordered medium rare steak at one of the restaurants, and one came out medium and the other was very very rare. Throughout the whole resort, there's not a lot of consistency. I will say they do a pretty good job with the appetizers at the restaurants, just not the main dishes. In the hotel rooms, we had a guest whose bag got rummaged through by room service. Other rooms, that didn't have any do not disturb signs up, never got cleaned. There were issues in other rooms (dirty rooms, rooms that smelled, faulty sinks/bathtub faucets) as well. read more

I had booked this stay for my mom and I through Costco travel we requested two beds. Our flight got delayed so by the time we got to the hotel to check in we were told our room wasn't available. They tried to get us to upgrade for two nights and come the third night we would get our room with two beds. Another option was to upgrade the room with a swim pool for an additional $100. We didn't budge after some back and forth the room with two beds was available after all. Once we got our wrist bands we were told to meet someone to help us with the app. Not even 3 mins into getting help with the app it switches into a presentation about trying to get you to go to their time share presentation. Of course we declined but they insisted on giving a discount for their spa if not for their popular restaurant with show chic cabaret . We politely declined and circled back to the issue with the app - we wanted to get connected to be able to book the restaurants. We were told IT would be on it . After that we still had to wait maybe 10 more mins to have someone take our bags to the room. We were dropped off at the hotel at 4:38 and bell boy came with our bags finally at 5:25. Upon entering the room had like an old smell to it. I did notice some stains on the bedsheets everything else seemed to look fine. We once again brought up that our app wasn't functioning we had connection issues we were told they'd let somebody know. By this time we were hangry we just wanted to wash up and go eat. We ended up walking into tentazione and thankfully they sat us down right away with out having a reservation. Our serve was Josue and he helped us order food entrees and drinks. We then went to walk around to see what the resort looked like. Doing so we were able to get a golf cart to take us to the beach . By this time it was already getting dark so we circled back to go to their bar roof top gravity. Shortly after went over to the other side as it seemed more lively. For day two we went to capricho for the breakfast buffet I didn't like it too much come later to find out you could order from their menu in which people said was better. Our third day we booked an excursion through the sales person on site which I regret doing as he didn't go over the packages unlike the other sales people by the courtesy showers. Absolutely unacceptable. Our first room had visible mold and smelled terrible. My friend was sleeping when we realized we had to switch rooms at 1am--after being up since 3am the day before. When we brought it up, the butler casually said someone would come fix it while we were at dinner--fix mold? By painting over it?! That's not just irresponsible, it's dangerous. For the safety of your children and family, do NOT stay here. After being moved, the second room had a clogged shower and sink. The bathroom flooded. And instead of helping, the staff argued with us. We paid nearly $1,000 a night, and this is what we got? Complete disaster. Stay far away. Terrible. ESPAÑOL Inaceptable. Nuestra primera habitación tenía moho visible y olía horrible. Honeymoon in Cancún!!! We stayed at this lovely resort. Service staff was friendly and polite. But I must say, tipping really does affect the expediency of your service at times. Room service food turned out to be better than most the restaurants there except for one. Our room was beautiful! Right next to the pool and the ocean, the humidity was extremely high. However we were given a dehumidifier which was a life saver. However we did have to empty it ourselves but it wasn't labor intensive. We chose this resort for our honeymoon, and unfortunately, it completely ruined what should have been a special experience. The service was terrible from the moment we arrived. Our room wasn't properly cleaned, and despite our travel agent and us repeatedly notifying the resort that this was our honeymoon, nothing was done to acknowledge it. We had filled out a "wishlist" in advance that included small touches like champagne and specific pillows to make our stay more personal. None of those items were provided. When we asked about it, we were told someone would come right away--no one ever did. The next time we asked, we were told the items were unavailable, even though they were still listed as options on the wishlist. I have tried messaging through the app and the staff has been completely unresponsive. Not one message has been replied to. We had to go to the lobby and ask for help in person as a result which was pointless. The manager promised he would send someone to help us and a day later no one has come. The butler service has also been unresponsive, leaving us to make every single dinner and activity reservation ourselves. On top of that, most of the on-site restaurants have very limited hours--some are only open three days a week for dinner. The food has also been disappointing. While it's beautifully presented, it often tastes bad, and the drinks are poorly made. Every frozen drink I've ordered has been full of large ice chunks and barely blended. There are also many common drinks such as a sex on the beach that they told me they couldn't make. Getting around the resort has also been a constant frustration. The golf carts that are supposed to shuttle guests come very infrequently, and we've waited at stops only to have empty carts pass us by without stopping. The boats that are advertised as part of the experience are equally unreliable. We haven't been able to get on one at all since arriving. For a resort that markets itself as luxury, this has been anything but. I would not recommend it, especially for a honeymoon or other special occasion. read more

We just stayed for a long weekend here. The pool staff, bar staff and event staff were great! They really made you feel special and made our stay that much more enjoyable. The "butler" service was not ideal. We were told that they are the ones to make reservations for you at the restaurants on site. We messaged them multiple times and never got a reservation anywhere. The first night we were there we were told the reservations weren't even an option even though the front desk told us they would contact us before our trip to make reservations for us. When we trying to contact them in advance, they never followed through. The spa was nice and very beautiful. I would wait to book a treatment until there though because they offer 50% off deals when going to the pool. Make sure to bring bug spray, the bugs are us alive but some nice staff gave us some a couple times. The room was great, no complaints! read more

I don't even know where to begin. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at ALL. I feel like we completely wasted our money. I'm flummoxed at the good reviews because this trip was anything but. - Layout of the resort is very weird. The sports bar and coffee shop are on the Grand Palladium (aka children) side which is at least a 10 minute walk or you can get a shuttle. When we asked for a shuttle one of the times, none came after 15 mins so we said forget it. Why would the bar be on the children side? - We were bored. It was unclear what was open and where to go to get drinks besides the lobby bar and the bar in the pool. The Grand Palladium side appeared to have more to do, but again, there's kids on that side and it was annoying to get to. - Setting the tone for the trip: We arrived at 11am and check-in isn't until 3; no problem, we expected the room not to be ready. Important to note that the hotel was MAYBE 1/2 full so unclear why there were no rooms ready. Anyway, they made me sign up for emails (even though I said I didn't want promotional emails) in order to be notified when our room is ready before 3pm. I asked why couldn't they use WhatsApp (which the "butler" uses anyway, by the way) and they said no. Well, we never got an email, there was a lightening storm and everyone went to their rooms, but we still didn't have one. When we finally went in person to check on it, they were so rude and said "it's only 9 mins after 3pm." We were like then why did you make me sign up for emails and tell us it would be ready ahead of time? - There was CONSTANT peddling at the pool for the spa. I got asked 5x in 6 hours while trying to relax. - "Butler" service was not real. If you've ever stayed at a Secrets or Sandals and had a butler, you'd know that this was more of a marketing ploy. They do not reserve chairs for you or check on you throughout the day. Our first night, we asked for sparkling wine in the room which eventually was brought. When we asked for an additional bottle later, we were told: "We are doing our best, Alexia already delivered your bottle. A refill won't be possible today. Otherwise, the bottle has extra charges." Where in the world does that make sense when it's an "all inclusive hotel" for food and drinks, and theoretically, we could have just gone to the bar and drank the same amount with no charge. Also, I think her response in general was rude. - Mosquitoes were EVERYWHERE. No joke, people looked like they had smallpox from bites. It was miserable. No bug spray was provided and they clearly don't spray for mosquitoes. I've stayed in Costa Mujeres and Cancun at various resorts this time of year and never had this issue. My husband went to the store on the property to buy bug spray and got a pair of rubber flip flops and it was $67! - There is no bottled water outside your room, which are glass bottles that require a bottle opener and aren't allowed at the pool. When I asked for bottled water at the pool, they acted like I was crazy. When someone brought a can over, they said "they had to go to Wal-Mart to get it" as if we are low-class Americans. I have never been to "high end" all-inclusive that does not provide bottled water. - Food was awful. My husband and I were sick after lunch 2 days in a row and missed dinner. Less important but still notable: - One sink didn't drain, the toilet ran periodically, sheets are rough, and pillows are like bricks. - They knew it was our anniversary trip and did nothing to acknowledge it. Not even a towel swan on the bed. - There was no clarity on opening times - we walked to the coffee shop one morning and at 7:50am, it was still not open. - "Butlers" make dinner reservations only the Saturday before your arrival and I needed to follow-up twice to get a response. - A portion of the ceiling collapsed from water damage in the hall - When we went to the desk to verify our transportation back to the airport, the man was rude and shrugged and said I don't know if it's coming. TRS has been a brand that I kept seeing on the hit Netflix show "Love is Blind". When I decided to vacation in Cancun, I looked through some resorts and TRS Coral had better photos of their room and bathroom. I was most excited about TRS Coral and decided to book it. I booked a garden room because of the price. When I arrived at the resort, we were given upgrade options at the front desk. We had a good discount / deal for a 2 story balcony room with a hot tub on the deck. We went with it and do not regret it at all. Coming from two people who worked remotely, WiFi was fast with no interruptions. We loved the maid and maintenance service two times a day. With the all inclusive price, we barely had a bill at check out. Food - We were told we needed dinner reservations and that our butler would be the one to assist with those reservations. Our butler did not come over to introduce him or herself even after numerous calls but we went with a walk in that night. We realized that each night, they provide 2 walk in restaurants. The walk in our first night was at the Italian restaurant and even then we had a slight wait. I can't say the food is amazing but the food overall at the resort was good. We liked that the resort connected to Palladium and that there were so many options to choose from. What we didn't like was the advanced reservation system. We were either told the restaurant was closed or full. This was a constant disappointment. I wish our butler alerted us ahead of time that certain restaurants get full and that we should book those ahead of time. We were never able to watch the nightly cabaret show either because it was either closed for a private event or full. We ate at the buffet a lot of the times, but we found no issues with that. Our favorite breakfast buffet was Isla Blanca. Our favorite lunch buffet was Poseidon. We weren't properly told about the buffet by the check in at TRS - that you can order a la carte items with the QR code. A lot of variety and we enjoyed the buffets. We tried to walk in to a restaurant and they made us come back to check availability. When we did, we were turned away. Our butler made us a reservation for the hibachi restaurant yet we weren't asked what we wanted to eat when the reservation was made. Hence, we did not get to sit in the hibachi or sushi side so we were unable to participate in those. Disappointing that we did not get to eat at a lot of the restaurants due to a reservation and the restaurant being full. Drinks - we loved the all inclusivity. The bartenders definitely were biased towards attractive women. You can see them drop every waiting customer for that one pretty girl. They also are nicer to you if you tip. If you go to Palladium, they charge premium for the same alcohol that is included in TRS. At Palladium, they also have a cute coffee shop. The coffee and juice here are not that great. Overall the best part of this resort is the adults only vibe. Once you go into Palladium, you'll feel completely different with kids everywhere. I also liked that they had speedy transportation via golf cart or the boat for easy back and forth. The staff are all very kind and we would love to come back one day. read more

Our stay at the TRS CORAL HOTEL was outstanding. The property itself is beautiful and well maintained. The entire staff always makes you feel right at home. As a matter of fact, when you check in they great you by saying "WELCOME HOME". The restaurants are fantastic but the room service staff were AMAZING. IVAN was incredible!! He made sure our morning breakfast was perfect every morning. He pays attention to detail and is always focused on exceptional customer service. Our Butlers "Jimmy and Fernando" are extremely professional, knowledgeable and detailed oriented. They both go above and beyond to make sure that the customer is satisfied. They made our stay memorable and we are so appreciative of them. Alex from the pool made sure that we were taken care of as well. He is very attentive, courteous and welcoming. My experience of the TRS Corral was awful, Poor at BEST. The beds are hard, None of the furniture was comfortable. Upon our arrival we were not greeted with a cool towel or a cold beverage. We upgrade to the pool side swim out to the tune of $400. we were never ask to experience the premium package it was 600. for $200 more we would have upgraded for the other items you received. We had to sleep in our first one in building one. Was moved to building 2 the next day. I didn't understand why and when I ask were we have one room or two she said one. That wasn't true. When I went back to the front desk to speak with the manager she never came out to speak with me she sent a message via the customer service rep that didn't sit well with me. Manager should have came out to here my concerned being my first time there. The inconsistency is awful at this place. The only pleasant experience we had is the Butler Manager Luis came to speak with us and listen to what issue we we having. I told him his butters need more training. I said if I send you a message 2 days in a row that I need hand towels in my room I would think our BUTLERS would handle it without me sending them a message not the ones we had. Room service food was awful. Our only restaurant we enjoyed was El Gaucho. I thought this would be a great location and was excited because of the show Love is Blind. I thought for a second I was at the wrong location. Now of course we got cornered for the sell pinch of purchasing the travel group to purchase it I ask the person we have a vacation club we are a part of and we don't want two I ask will they exchange ours for there's he said OH YES so we went at 8:30 am they picked us up took us to the location for breakfast then the talk in the sale room. They talked I listen another gentleman came over with more talk and pricing I said I'm only here because I heard you will transfer over what I have for what you have the Second Gentleman said we don't do that. I said then we are done because I don't need two travel club membership. So another man came over I said at that time NO mean NO. We left and got ready to get in the shuttle the driver put his hand up and said NO this for appointments only. We were lost and had no clue where TRS was since this was our 2 day there we walked to the coffee shop and giggle I said oh they come and get you but don't make sure you get back. TRS Coral Cancun was amazing! Our butlers, Lucas and Angie, made our honeymoon extra special with their attention to details. You will have impeccable food/drink service at the pool with Guadalupe! She takes pride in her work and it shows! Make sure to show her some extra love $$!! Our swim-up suite was perfect in the late afternoon after being at the main pool! It proved to be especially worthy when the main pool had to be shut down due to some dumb drunk girl throwing up in it! Make reservations for Chic Cabaret; you will not be disappointed! The show was so fun and interactive and meal was amazing! We were thankful for the golf carts taking us between properties! Zentropia Spa at the Grand Palladium was also fabulous. So many other resorts in Cancun to stay at! I'm not one to complain (even look at my profile, I normally leave great reviews) but this place was BAD. I also DO NOT RECOMMEND HAVING YOUR WEDDING HERE!!! They make the bride and groom move their own stuff around, in their wedding dress/suite. As a guest, they don't inform you on anything when checking in. We found our room on our own, no bell boy. The sheets on the bed were not changed from last guest nor was the "mini bar" restocked haha so gross. I can literally write a NOVEL but no one has time for that type of negativity. The beach was beautiful and the service there was fine, the pool was also a vibe (adult side at least was), the only food we all agreed on that was good was Sushi. We do recommend going to the show, CHIC...such a good time!!! Room service gets shut off 24hrs before your check out. If you don't book dinner reservations for your trip the day you check in, you are stuck with just the buffet. The place is massive so You can take a golf cart or a boat. Went to TRS Coral for a wedding. The check-in was extremely fast, and we were given a little tour on the way to our room with the suitcases. Once checked in, we had our own "butler's" come to introduce themselves. If you utilize whatsapp, you can exchange numbers, and they will be able to help you a text away. Every morning, we were informed who would be assisting us at what time blocks, a few of the events were going on at the resort and help with making dinner reservations, to name a few. With being on the TRS side of the resort (adults only), they have both restaurants you need reservations for (mainly dinner) and also ones you can just walk in. The restaurants are buffets and a la cart. I highly recommend Healio for great seafood and El gaucho for steak. Room service is also offered 24/7. The main pool was nice. The only downside, as to why it receives 4 start reviews, is that a lot of the seating during our time near the pool was blocked off for their "experience" members. We did get asked if we wanted to rent one of the cabanas, but we declined, so I'm not sure the price for that. There is a gym on the property along with a spa. Keep an eye out for the spa employees near the pool. They can offer you a better deal on services if you book with them vs. right at the spa. The beach is extremely clean and drinks also keep flowing there near the beach. If you have too much to drink before your checkout, if available, late checkout could be offered for $35/hr. read more

My husband and i stayed here for our Honeymoon (October 2022). We reserved the lofted suite and it was absolutely amazing. The amount of space for two people was unbelievable. The outdoor balcony tub was like nothing i had experienced before. The rooms come with a day and night butler that contact you through Whatsapp. They were extremely friendly and willing to help out with all our needs & questions throughout the trip. All of our dinner reservations were made by our butlers through text which I thought was so convenient! Hightlights: 1.) THE SPA! OMG this spa experience WAS ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. We got the couples packaged 50min full body massage, 25min full body scrub & facial that also included chocolate cover strawberries (white and dark chocolate) and champagne. You also get access to the entire spa building that has several rooms (salt, steam, sauna, ice, etc.) and a roof top infinity pool with a health bar (delicious N/A smoothies). 2.) Chic Cabaret! 100% recommend paying the extra $40 per person to experience this show! The course meal was delicious (one of the best meals we had the entire trip) and the show itself was lively and exciting and immersive. The drinks are also all included when you purchase the ticket (but they will try to up-sell you on bottles of wine pre-show). Downsides: 1.) The food was nothing to rave about. I felt most of it was under seasoned and they focused more on the presentation than the taste. However, nothing was bad just didn't wow us. Also, room service food takes an hour to get and arrives slightly cold so we didn't utilize that often. 2.) The restaurants and bars has strange hours. Alcohol cannot be ordered at the beach or pool before 10am (WHICH BLEW MY MIND) because the bars do not open until then. You can get drinks at the breakfast spots but cant sit outside by the pool or beach and order any. Also they have a weird gap time between 4-5pm where the only food available is room service. NOTE: This resort (adults only side) is definitely designed more for relaxation than for partying. The bars are open late and have music playing but are not designed for "club" style atmosphere. My wife and and had a great experience here and I would recommend it highly to anyone. One thing that wasn't clear to me until arrival was how enormous the campus is. I went to Dreams Tulum years ago, which was much smaller. TRS is like it's own full size resort situated alongside two others. With it's own restaurants, bars, pools and activities. But you have access to everything else that the other resorts offer, which includes restaurants and bars. We spent most of the time at our resort, which is The nicest one, but we did go to one of the other restaurants, one bar, and to the coffee shop a couple times. Plus it is nice to just have such a big area to explore. The staff was nice and very helpful. Our butler Sostenes especially so. He solved a problem created for us by one of the front desk butlers, and took good care of us overall. I didn't expect that the butler service was going to be as fun and helpful as it was! Food and drink exceeds expectations overall. Though I wish dinner reservations were a little easier/more organized, and they had offered more Mexican food! We had a food allergy to contend with and overall the restaurants did very well, though there was one issue we caught that could have been a major problem. On the other hand, our server Aquino at El Gaucho made sure we were safe! The property overall nice. It's very well laid out. In good condition. And the beach was outstanding! The sand was like bread flour. At the Pool and the beach there were tons of chairs and umbrellas. PS-out reservations came with $1500 in resort credit. Those OSS just a coupons book. There are many things I could've dealt with or pushed aside as my wife and I are not picky people, bur THEFT is something that is an absolute deal breaker for me. Housekeeping came in our room and went through our luggage where we had deeply hidden our cash for the stay for tips and maybe a few extra things. When we came back from being at the pool it was gone and they clearly went through our bags. After security told us a report would be made nothing ever came from it SHOCKER. Absolutely put a grey cloud over the whole honeymoon and had me in a bad mood for days. Pros- drinks were good and the atmosphere was fun/ beach was very nice. A few of the dinner restaurants were good the main lobby had pretty decent lunches. Our butler service was awesome Cons- Theft, room service was absolute trash, the room smelt like mold the whole time and AC didn't work very well. I saved my money for 8 months to afford this vacation and was so excited as it is advertised as "luxury" but luxury hotels don't steal money from your bags and then tell you that you should have put it in your locker. Come to this place if you want to smile. From having conversations with the gardner to having any mezcal or tequila mixology prepared for you with finess, this place is a gem. Of course nowhere is perfect and that is the purpose of quality improvement, which this resort and company is very dedicated to. The front desk managed by Jennifer Gutierrez is exemplary in their treatment of guests throughout their stay. The complex is massive and you probably won't experience it all, but that is great because it will always leave you wanting. The natural components around, make you feel like you are one with this ecosystem, hearing exotic birds chirping when you are lounging and seeing the beauty of what nature offers. I reccommend trying this resort; you will relax, eat well and be able to dance to great live entertainment. read more

Take me back! I came here in April with a few family members for a surprise birthday trip and I had a great time. We all did. TRS is adults only. I only stayed for 3 days but it was great. The resort was no close to crowded. There were Covid measures in place. You had a make reservations at the restaurants to prevent crowding. Everything was clean and felt safe all the time. The rooms were amazing. Even just at the basic level. Fridge in the room stocked with beverages. There was always food somewhere that you could get to eat. Beach chairs and umbrellas ready and available. The gym was modern with all the equipment you would find at you're local gym. We reserved a room with 2 beds. We received a room with 1 bed. Immediately informed our butler. She texted back that we will change rooms the next day. She said to go to the front desk after 3. We went down at 3. The front desk said no request was received. I showed her the text from the butler. She said nothing could be done. I explained that we had communication and she could not have cared less. This entire situation was due to internal communication issues and nothing to do with the guest. Came here and met up with friends for a birthday celebration. And let's keep it 100. This mama needed a getaway after over a year of working from home full-time and home school kids at the same time. So I needed a break or a "Mommy Spring Break" We each booked a different room to see what is the best and the swim-up suite is by far the B E S T decision you will ever make. I had an Oceanfront & Oceanview room. The birthday girl had the swim up suite, and our other friend had a loft suite. They are all very beautiful and exquisite rooms. But that swim-up room was the bee's knees and by far took the cake. The whole cake and some ice cream on the side okay?? You get the luxury and pleasure of being near all the action of being at the pool, (by action I mean the music played or the DJ that comes or the live singer) but the privacy of your own spot. And the waiter will come bring you drinks. Let's discuss this waiter, we had named, Ricardo. All I know is Ricardo for President!! He was the absolute BEST. We wanted for absolutely nothing. Let me tell you, this man, we would tell him our mood and what we wanted in a drink, (you know either refreshing or sweet, sour, etc) he would come back with the PERFECT drink. I love him. Everyone needs a Ricardo in their life!! Seriously. I need Ricardo's number, he was amazing. I was assigned butlers for my stay, I had Santiago and Manuel, they were awesome. They helped me get reservations for dinner, anything I needed for my room they were readily available. I could shoot them a text and they were on it immediately. Excellent customer service. TRS Coral treats you like royalty. This Queen right here is here for ALL OF IT. The Food: El Gaucho Steakhouse was the best, food was extremely flavorful. La Boheme (French) food delicious food I had the Sea Bass, very flavorful, downside was that they have extremely small portions. Tentazione: Italian food was tasty, average nothing too great, nothing terrible . It was good. Helios: Food was decent, it was good, but left me feeling like something was missing. Service was good. Capricho: Breakfast. Here you can get a small buffet of selections, yogurt, granola, cereal, bagels, fresh fruit, fresh juices,, waffles, pancakes, poke bowls, various pastries, breakfast croissants sandwiches, salads, etc Then you can also order omelets, pancakes, etc from your server. Gym: Nice! Clean, decent amount of weights. Please mask up when working out! And clean up after yourself!! Wipe it down and rack your weights. I definitely will be back here. Visited TRS on our final stop during our Mexico getaway. TRS was the third resort during our 2 week trip (Excellence Rivera Cancun and Now Sapphire were the other two). Let's start off with the positives. The resort is massive and beautiful throughout! It's very modern and inviting to the eye. Transportation is provided by golf cart or our preference boat via the canal that connects the resort. We had a swim up suite that overlooked the main pool. (Rm 1035) The location was amazing, it was exactly what we wanted. The views were amazing and we never had to leave the room to enjoy them, no looking for chairs etc. etc. Another positive was we were able to reserve a table for two at Chic and it did not disappoint. Although it was a $35 charge it was well worth the money the show they put on is fantastic. Throughout the show you are continually served with food, drinks and shots overall it's just a lot of fun and we would highly recommend visiting. Another of the highlights was the service to our swim up suite. It overlooked the main pool so the servers came to us which was great. We met a young man named Martin at the TRS pool he was outstanding. He provided quality service and even better conversation.He paid attention to every detail and had things for us before we asked. The negatives and probably the reason we will not return was the check in process. We typically upgrade to premier clubs with the benefits that provide a private check-in's. Here at TRS we did not have that option so the general check-in was very confusing slow and difficult to get somebody to help you out. From the time we were dropped off it was difficult to get any direction on where to go or how to get help to check in. It was like hey welcome now find your way. Once we sat down the process moved pretty quick. Our room was not ready till 3 o'clock so we had a few hours to burn which wasn't a big deal because again the facilities are amazing. When we returned at 3 again it was very confusing on who to go to, who would help etc. Finally a gentleman begin to help, although he appeared irritated that I asked, in helping he had us reaching around another couple checking in at the desk. It was very inconvenient and uncomfortable for us and I imagine them as well. After checking in you are bombarded with sale pitches from staff at the spa and the travel club or timeshare portion within the resort. Throughout our few days at the resort we were approached by numerous staff trying to sell us these things. For us that was very frustrating and a huge turnoff. So despite the beautiful room and overall resort the negatives of the check in process and the continued sales pitch we will not return to TRS Coral. read more
