Tyler Motos, a Beach Club employee, overheard me explaining the situation and immediately stepped in to help. He took it upon himself to search through an entire cart of dirty towels, as well as every towel bin around the adult pool, because I believed I had accidentally left my phone wrapped inside a towel. Despite simultaneously coordinating with other staff members over his walkie-talkie and helping prepare for an approaching storm, Tyler remained focused, calm, and determined. After 20-30 minutes of searching, he successfully found my phone buried in a pile of towels. Tyler's hard work, kindness, professionalism, ability to multitask, and dedication to helping a guest were truly remarkable. One afternoon our daughter was looking to make some hot tea and yet again, Petula saved the day! Having such kind and good energy folks truly does make all the difference to us. Had a great stay at this new Hilton property located on St Simon's island…read more Located in a residential neighborhood on a golf course, the resort has a club house, pool, fitness center, golf course, and a multitude of different rooms. Let me start by saying that every employee we met was courteous and helpful from on island recommendations for dining to addressing concerns. We used their remote check in option through our phones and went straight to our room. If you use remote check in, your key goes to your phone via the Hilton app. This can be a little cumbersome bc you will have an interior and exterior door to navigate and they did not like to de-conflict with each other so sometimes it was hard to find the right key. I just went to the front desk and got old school key cards and did not have the issue anymore. Our room was a well apportioned single bedroom with a king bed, screened in porch, wet bar, microwave, refrigerator and Keurig. They provide in shower shampoo, body wash and conditioner. I used it and it smelled good, my wife did not bc the pumps meant she had to pump the shampoo a lot to get enough for her hair. Also, there is no shelving in the walk in shower so she had to sit her razor and other toiletries on the ledge for the door. The bed was comfortable and the AC kept the room cool but bc of the humidity, the room just felt damp and wet. The carpet felt moist when you walked on it. My wife and I both enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch in the morning talking and watching wildlife. It may have been too hot in the August afternoon to do that. We did not get to enjoy the pool bc of the weather but the gym is well equipped and has some items you will not see in a standard hotel gym like Olympic lifting weights and barbells, kettlebells, a battle rope and plyo work ladders. As well as treadmills, cycles, dumbbells and med balls. On-site restaurant Sago was pretty good when we ate there. And is a good option when you don't want to drive. Great option for a weekend getaway but I am concerned about how the property will age if they do not figure out the room humidity thing.

This was very very disappointing…read more My husband and I stayed at Sea Palm Resort to celebrate our anniversary after traveling all the way from Maryland. We had been looking forward to this trip and expected a higher level of service based on the resort's reputation. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet those expectations. BTW, all that texting they do before you arrive and checking in on you is purely theatrics. The room itself was spacious, and I really enjoyed the view of nature from our room. We even spotted what I believe was a bobcat in the distance, which was a nice surprise. However, there were several issues that affected our stay. First, the floors did not appear to have been properly mopped before our arrival. There was hair in both the bedroom and the bathroom that appeared to have been left by previous guests. To confirm my concern, I wiped the floor with a damp paper towel, and it came back dirty. We reported this to the front desk, but no one ever came to address the issue. The shower gel was also disappointing. The product had been watered down so much that it was almost the consistency of water. It would shoot out of the dispenser instead of dispensing like a gel and produced almost no lather. That's kind of nasty to be honest dollar tree shower gel would have been better. It's giving "we are barely staying in business." The biggest issue was the air conditioning. It stopped working twice during our stay. We stayed there 3 nights and 2 of them there was no AC. Outside felt better than inside. Maintenance came out after the first report and got it running again, but only a few hours later it stopped working once more. With temperatures outside exceeding 100°F, the room became very uncomfortable. We had to sleep with the deck door open because even the fan was not working so there was no circulating air. Another disappointment was housekeeping. We stayed for three nights (Saturday through Monday), did not have a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, yet no one serviced our room during our stay. We never received fresh towels, the room was never cleaned, and no one checked in to see if we needed anything. Apparently you have to request housekeeping and telling them the floor is dirty isn't enough to get housekeeping to the room. Another concern was that we saw roaches in the room, regular household roaches. In all of my years of traveling, I have never stayed at a hotel where I encountered roaches, so this was very disappointing and concerning. Overall, the room itself had potential, and I appreciated the peaceful setting and beautiful natural surroundings. However, the cleanliness, lack of housekeeping, diluted bath products, and repeated air conditioning issues prevented this from feeling like the upscale resort experience we expected. I hope management addresses these concerns because the property has potential, but based on this visit, it did not live up to its reputation.

The home is very large and we had our entire families and some close friends here for our wedding. The adults and children absolutely loved it. This home has so many unique features that it would be difficult to pin point just one thing that sets it apart. I loved the architecture. Others fell in love with the decor. We all enjoyed the courtyard entertainment area with infinity edge pool and spa. The Hibachi grill was such a fun way to prepare meals on the covered veranda. There is enough space to be able to enjoy coming together as a group, but also to enjoy the privacy and beauty of this world class home. Everything worked flawlessly. The only issue we had was with the management company. A gentleman showed up on our last day there with his dog and did a walk through of the property. His dog urinated twice on the veranda and he then accused us of having a pet there because his dog never does that unless there is another animal nearby. Really?!?!?! We had no pets or animals of any sort, and we had cleaned the home to a standard higher than when we received it. We also experienced a lack of what I would consider normal toiletries, but I wouldn't have even mentioned it had I not read it in a previous comment from another guest. Overall, I believe this to be the most impressive home we have stayed in. Everything was fantastic with the exception of our one interaction with the management company. The views are breath taking, the home and amenities are fabulous. If you are considering staying here, you should watch the video tour on YouTube. I hope the owner's see this and I hope they have changed management companies. A property this spectacular shouldn't be negatively impacted by the people who are supposed to be taking care of the details. Pool was also VERY dirty; debris and bugs unfit for even a foot dip let alone any type of swim - another disgusting find.
