This was my first visit to St Simons Island and my wife and I spent five nights at Hotel Simone. The hotel is a boutique hotel with a cool vibe and interesting decor. It is supposedly only three years old. The staff deserves a five star rating--especially Lenny and Bambi. The two of them were super and I enjoyed several conversations with them. They really embody hospitality. Bambi definitely prepares a wonderful breakfast spread. Unfortunately, I can not give the hotel a five star rating due to issues with the facility. Our first suite's bedroom was noisy with some type of equipment behind the headboard wall. It was not constant which made it worse. The first two nights we barely slept a wink. Our other concern was with the condition of the rooms. In the bathroom, the wall paper was peeling and there was mold around the baseboards and door trim. It was obvious that the cleaning staff were not very thorough. There were filthy baseboards and the tops of tall things and behind furniture was nasty. When we complained about the noise, the staff did move us to a different room. The new room's HVAC system was quite noisy but not as obnoxious as the first room's noise issues. There we slept much better but the cleanliness left something to be desired. Again the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. Additionally, the toilet paper holder was broken and the bathroom fan did not operate. The last item that knocks down my rating is the bed sheets. In a boutique hotel catering to couples, I would expect high quality sheets. These were definitely not. My Knees and elbows are proof that the sheets were crap. To sum up the front staff are awesome. The maintenance, cleaning and bedding quality all need improvement. Again, I would love to give the hotel more stars but the facilities missed the mark.

What a great boutique hotel close to the. Each and Crabdaddys! Perfect spot. Great service and front desk staff is so friendly. Beautiful decor and very fresh & clean. The rooms are so. Ice with small kitchenette, small hallway to bedroom so great space! Will definitely be back! Love St Simone any this is my mew hotel!!

This place is brand new and beautiful. You can walk to the beach ( it's not beachfront). The rooms are in a boutique fashion but very comfortable. They are very large. The staff couldn't be any nicer or helpful. It's a must if you're visiting St. Simone.

We stayed the night of our low key courthouse wedding (thanks, COVID) to make the day a little more special! (We even came home from dinner to a bottle of champagne and balloons waiting for us. So thoughtful!) We waited a moment in the lobby before being greeted with a smiling face! I hate I don't remember her name, but she was kind and explained all of the restrictions (thankfully there aren't many all things considered) and presented our welcome packet with a list of local eats as well as hotel information. The hotel itself is very cute! Very clean. Very modern, beachy bo ho vibes, but they keep it mostly gender neutral for the guys. Although, I'd totally come back for a fun girls trip! The room was super spacious and felt more like a small apartment, not a hotel! We loved that the room with the bed had a door, so if you did share a room and someone wanted to use the couch there is privacy! They also had super comfy robes, a take home laundry bag that we used for swim suits, plastic glass and table ware, a nespresso machine, a fridge, sink, and hot teas! The pool was very well maintained and because it's on the 3rd floor roof top the noise of cars is a minimum and you have a pretty view of the trees. There are also plenty of tables and chairs and tvs on the patio in shade! Honestly, we only live 45 minutes up the road but both agreed we would love to come back for a mini getaway and take advantage of the shuttle to the beach as well as the pool! Highly recommend staying! You can't beat it for the (affordable for the location) price!! Thanks for the hospitality, Hotel Simone!

The whole time we were there no one came to clean our room. The room was clean and spacious but that was about all

Okay so we really want to give 3.5 stars but it doesn't seem to allow that. Now... here are our…read moreobservations: The hotel is adorable. A little "Game of Thrones-ey" with a modern twist which is super cute. The staff is very nice. I appreciate that luggage dolleys are available right in the garage. The rooftop lounge is very nice, however - not much more than bar food on the menu so we opted to go into town for seafood at The Half Shell (fantastic!) which I will review separately. I did notice on the rooftop receipt that we were charged for the wrong wine. I had a $10 glass of wine but was charged for a $15 glass of wine. But my husband had a glass of Glen Levit which they only charged $10 for (which is a great price) so I let it slide. Our only other complaints are that the pillows on the bed are so poofy that my neck was uncomfortable all night. Next time I will bring our own pillows. And the wine glasses brought to the room with the bottle we ordered should have been polished up. There is nothing appealing about water spotted wine glasses. Otherwise the room was very clean and very nice. I did notice the complimentary mini body wash in the shower was incredibly watery which means they're just refilling them which is kinda gross. Despite our chief complaints, we will probably come here again. My husband wants me to add that the rooftop furniture is a bit dilapidated. Overall a decent place to stay and the breakfast had a lot of variety!

Can't beat the location and the staff were friendly, but those are my only positives…read more Room was HALF the size of what the website shows. Apparently we were given a "renovated room." Half of the light switches lead to nowhere, phone didn't work, shower dripped all night. The breakfast was the worst I have ever seen. The same food was out Monday at 4 when we arrived. Rock hard bagels and croissants, milk in a pitcher with not a pleasant smell. We would not stay again.

The pool wasn't cleaned until Friday, and most of the breakfast items on during the week were cold or stale. The front desk attendant during the week was not friendly and seemed more focused on her phone than the guests. They advertise s'mores from 6-9 PM, but she didn't put anything out until someone complained -- and even then she only set out a single tiny square of chocolate per kit. It's a small thing, but if a hotel offers an amenity, it should be done properly. The gentleman working Friday night handled it the right way with two squares and was actually friendly. I also don't think they shampooed the carpets since being built, there were stains on our room carpet & when I walked to together ice & came back to our room the bottom of my feet were black. Overall, the stay was okay, but the service and attention to detail were disappointing for a Hilton brand.

The pool here is not heated and there is no hot tub. The body shower soaps and shampoos were not refilled and completely empty. The showers were moldy, it smelled like someone had peed on the carpets, so we had to buy air freshener and Lysol disinfectant. I liked their economy breakfast that's included. The beds were comfy.
