I joined this gym shortly after my husband. I worked with coach d for 30 min 4x per week for 5.5…read moremonths. I paid for 6 months in advance for accountability to myself. I started out training at 4:30pm. 8 weeks in D asked me to switch to a later time slot & switch my training days around so that she could start taking Fridays off. It was hard to swing with my kids sports but I accommodated her. She eventually switched it back months later after she started seeing clients Friday again & I brought it up to her. Things were good & I was loving the Saturday group. The workouts were all over the place instead of focusing on form we focused on rep counts & had 10-30 sec recovery between sets. Progressive overload was only tracked on a couple exercises & even that was inconsistent. A few months in my husband gets a call from Neil stating D feels uncomfortable around him because he looks at her too much in between sets. I told D that was hard for me to believe he was checking her so much that it would make her uncomfortable with her husband & other clients in the same room. Neil was immediately very apologetic & jumped thru hoops to get us to stay even offering to train me. D clearly wasn't happy that I didn't "take her side" but agreed to keep training me to fulfill my contract.Things were awkward at first but she never mentioned it again. Weeks from renewal D sent home a renewal packet & told me to return it whenever & neil told my husband we didn't need to fill it out unless we were renewing. Then Friday D says I can't workout until I sign the liability form. I was caught off guard & asked why I had to sign it right now when that's not what was said earlier this week and that I didn't feel comfortable just signing it without reading it. This upset D immediately. I took three mins and read thru it & signed it. She was clearly upset with me for questioning her but didn't say anything else. About 10:30 pm that night she text me a long explanation about how she was firing me for being disrespectful and uncoachable. And then proceeded to bring up my husband again now changing her story to him following her into a storage room for trash bags during an event at the gym with members and their families and how inappropriate it was. When I asked for a refund of our remaining contract she refused stating they have a sign on the wall "no refunds" and that I allegedly signed a contract stating that as well but refused to produce a copy of the contract I supposedly signed. After asking multiple times how I was ever disrespectful to her she responded with it was more that I was unapproachable and didn't open up to her enough and she was there to heal trauma and train my mind and spirit in addition to my body. Never once in the 5.5 months of training did she say she was unhappy with my level of commitment to her program. Looking back on it all now I should have seen this coming from a mile away. Every week she would tell me about everyone's personal lives which is probably why I was reserved in opening up to her. From someone's husband treating them horribly & how she should just leave them to someone being too obsessive about exercising and how it got on her nerves to someone feeling very insecure in there body like they would snap in half no matter how much they tried to gain muscle to complaining about other clients lack of commitment to diet or how so and so drinks far too often and that's why she will never see real results to how a client is a weak man & is such a sissy his wife begged D & Neil to help get him committed to working out to try to make him more manly. The list goes on & on. D also showed revealing personal progress pictures that I sent to just her because she was my coach to other clients without my permission. After being fired I was made aware of other clients who had very similar experiences to mine and my husbands. It's a shame because the community of people that attend this gym are truly wonderful people. Something I will genuinely miss. I highly recommend you look into a gym other than Garage Gym.

I haven't lost any weight yet, but already I feel much more agile, stronger, and healthier thanks to the hour-long sessions. Another great side effect is the mental sharpness I've regained. No mood swings when your blood is pumping and you're on your feet being active. TBC is a great way to get into a workout bootcamp; trainer is encouraging and helpful, always motivating. I've had no problems communicating with the team; Jennifer (owner operatior) and Kimmie (instructor) are always providing feedback. You work out at your own pace, perform what you can realistically achieve. As long as you don't cheat yourself, you'll get results. This camp is in the Best Buy parking lot adjacent to the 121/635 exchange in Lewisville. Yes, it's an outdoor camp and subject to closure during inclement weather. I think the outdoor setting stimulates more than the static environment of an indoor gym. I'm not necessarily fond of the noise and smell of traffic, or the condition of the parking lot at times; but it's a minor annoyance that I'm willing to overlook given the benefits of this camp. We called the instructor again and told him we were not going to do the classes and my husband had to see a doctor. He told him he had to contact CS which was a joke and uploaded a letter from my husband doctor. They said they cancelled his membership but would not give him a refund. I just now checked the CC transaction history and they have been charging us since oct of last year..... During Covid (6mths)..... unbelievable. We don't really use the CC so we didn't think to look up the transactions. Now I'm going to have to call the bank and report it as fraud. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO DURING THE TRIAL WEEK!!!!! Update: Beware.... Reported it to the bank and have requested a refund about 20 times from Camp Gladiator with only computer-generated responses. Made phone calls and still nothing. This company is a fraud save your money and join a reputable gym with an actual trainer. 152 complaints on the better Business bureau website of similar grievances. Even did the online chat and the woman admitted that they cannot give more than one month refund for any reason... Even fraud. Horrible horrible business model.

The class starts at…read more5:30 am and is held indoors at the gym at Camden Apartments in Farmers Market in Downtown Dallas on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays. It takes me exactly 8 mins to get there in the morning from Uptown so it works well. The classes are small and quite personal. They make sure you are doing everything properly and guide you through your weight loss or wait gain needs :) For me, its more of a support system if you want to call it that. I know they push us hard lots of times and there is no way I would work out that hard on my own unless someone was pushing me like that to keep me going. And seeing other people perform better only makes me try harder. So I am looking forward to the results in the upcoming months. But I highly recommend this class or Boot Camp for anyone looking to get in shape without a Gym commitment or contract.

The room we practiced in had a huge open window with natural lighting, which made it very relaxing. I tried the Slow Flow class, and felt a release of anxiety and tension during and after.
