The class is a combination of floor exercises, and the Skiers Edge machine. You rotate in a circuit between the different exercises. I'm not a skier but found I really enjoyed the skiers edge machine and it helped me activate rarely used leg and glute muscles. Shred is new to the fitness scene so they have some great introductory offers. Absolutely worth a try, they found a loyal customer in me!

CrossFit Eastchester has all of those features of a top notch CrossFit box. The equipment is well maintained and they have all the essentials to get your WOD on. Now here is the part that makes this gym the best I've ever visited. The culture.The culture at this box is unreal. I'm in the Army and we stress command climate and unit culture and it takes years to perfect or get it right. Some units will never get it right until new leaders take over or the whole organization has a massive turn over. CrossFit northeast has a culture of respect, camaraderie, professionalism, fitness, and most importantly fun. Everyone from the instructors to your fellow athletes have bought into the culture created at this gym. I am continually impressed by this gym day in and day out. Each coach has their own approach in assisting all athletes of all levels continually improve. Furthermore, ALL the staff pay in side-by-side with the athletes. Once a class ends they chalk up and put the f*** up. It's reassuring to see they are not only human but can execute everything they teach in class. Last but not least, the programming is top tier. I was home for a good chunk of leave and needed a spot to do my programming (Thor 3 & Mountain tactical) and I decided on CrossFit Northeast Eastchester. It was clear on day one the programming at the gym blew my prescribed workout plan out of the water. I was truly humbled when I came to execute a class instead of execute my programming and I got dragged through the mud. I eventually changed over to just following CrossFit northeast's programming. All in all I recommend CrossFit northeast to anyone looking to improve their fitness. It doesn't matter if you're 18 or 80 everyone in this special community is part of a team which I've never seen before.
