Salad was great , chicken had perfect chard texture and taste to it but the side of parm cheese had to be the cheapest brand used . 4 outta 5 3. The Thai wings . Just about perfect , not to crispy more of a grilled and the sauce was amazing. Could've been cooked maybe a minute longer but the flavor was great . I'm more of a flat person am I wish they gave but that's a preference. 4.7 outta 5 4. The drinks . Great just a regular margarita and pomegranate. Not bad at all. Well worth the size 5 . We stopped at the Houlihans in Brick Nj. on the way down to Atlantic City for lunch. We enjoyed Houlihans on long island for many years but they unfortunately closed it down this year. We found this location right off the Garden State parkway and they were able to recreate the great experiences we had at the long island location for many years. Our server Debbie, was awesome. Very attentive and spent time engaging in conversation with us. The atmosphere was very cozy and inviting. The food was excellent and plentiful. I totally reccomend Houlihans in Brick and will revist on our next trip down the shore. read more

Horrible experience. We called for a take out order. After attempting to order pot roast with green beans and mashed potatoes, we were told they no longer have that available. They do have it with carrots as the vegetable. Since when you can't switch veggies. I ordered meatloaf instead. I got home and it was mostly burnt. Not up to par. The potato soup was thick like glue and too salty. The burgers had to be sent back in the kids meals. There was no sweet sauce to go with the sweet potato fries. I have to admit the barbecue ribs and chicken were worth going there for. read more

We were in the area visiting my mom and passed by while running some errands in the area. I was happy to see a Houlihan's as the one by me closed abruptly a few years ago. It was a little early for dinner, but we hadn't eaten lunch. We were seated at a booth close to the door, which was good for my mom, as she was getting tired and it was hard for her to walk. Our waitress was very friendly, but the service all around seemed a little slow. We ordered fajitas to split and my mom got a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. Our fajitas were very good, but definitely heavier on the chicken than the steak. They could have given a little more guac and a little less of the shredded cheese. But they were tasty. We had some left overs and they heated up well the next day. My mom loved her cheeseburger. It smelled good. It had that charbroiled smell to it. The roll was nice and soft. When they brought out her burger it originally had regular fries and the waitress noticed and was like let me get you the sweet potato. I usually like sweet potato fries, but they seemed way overcooked. The regular fries were much better. I was happy to get my Houlihan's fix...lol. But the place definitely was in need of some updating. read more

Went last night for Thanksgiving dinner with my folks and had a great time. Despite being very busy we never felt rushed and the food was absolutely delicious! I had the prime rib which was cooked perfect. My mother had the traditional turkey, and my stepfather tackled a rack of ribs. All the food was cooked to perfection, and the mashed potatoes and garlic string beans sides were also yummy. The pumpkin pie for desert was great, and I chased down dinner with an absolutely delicious Spicy Blackberry Margarita! A great drink! Best of all we had Brooke as our waitress and she was amazing! She hustled and had a lot of tables to deal with, but she was still attentive, friendly and very sweet despite how busy she was. Brooke remembered everything we ordered and asked for too! A rockstar server! The restaurant itself also had a festive atmosphere and wasn't too noisy despite the crowd. All in all, a great holiday meal and a really fun time for Thanksgiving! read more

We visited on Tuesday night for a late dinner with a party of 2 and it was a very good experience. We were seated right away in a large booth near the bar and the waiter took drink orders. We had the Appetizer Sampler, Seared Ahi, and the Potato Soup. The potato skins on the sampler were a bit under cooked and I found the ahi a little too sweet. On the whole, however, the food was quite good. The highlight was the waiter, Roberto. He was friendly, prompt and professional. Give him a raise! The margaritas were large, strong and delicious. Used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but no longer. Portions have gotten smaller, items that at one time were in the salads are no longer there, the French onion soup was cold, and the spinach dip with the lavash was cold. Service at the bar was not very good, and the restaurant needs a makeover. We have been going there since they opened, but we will no longer go there. read more

Disappointing. The server, Emily, seemed like she did not at all care about our experience. The food was late, and when it came it was cold and not very tasteful. She did not take any steps to remedy our problem, nor would the manager. Our table of five was very surprised as most restaurants are far more helpful. I can't see a reason to ever go back to this restaurant. read more

Went here with my wife on July 6. We usually go once or twice a month. This experience was not good. We sat in the bar area at a booth, nice area we usually eat in there. Onion soup was ok, wife's caesar salad was good. She had the 1/2 rack of ribs, which she said didn't taste good, she ate 1 rib. I had the 1/2 chicken and 1/2 rack of ribs. My ribs were ok, finished them all. The chicken was murdered by the cook. They advertise slow roasted for 3 hours, this bird was petrified. Ate a bite of the wing, leg and thigh. Couldn't break into the breast with my knife, and they give you a serrated steak knife. Should have asked for the Manager, but I rarely do that, especially in a chain restaurant. And I never ask to send back food for a replacement, who knows what goes on in the kitchen when a Customer says the food is not good. So, we just won't be back. read more
