The employees were very friendly, and even though the doctor's consultation was virtual, I had no problems whatsoever. Thank you Visionworks

I have been going here for eye exams and contacts and glasses for years. I recently ran out of…read morecontacts and need to get an eye exam. They informed me that the optometrist is now remote. Since I have a cataract developing, I need a live optometrist to monitor its development and let me know when to see an opthomologist for a consult. The receptionist told me, "oh, you"ll know when to go. My dad was told he would just know when his vision is bad enough." Huh? Should a receptionist be giving advice like this from a professional optometry business? I asked if I could get an extension for a month or two on my contacts and she refused to even ask the optometrist on staff. When I asked her for my prescription she was trying to mislead me until I informed her that my records belong to me. So she printed out my prescription and wrote in large red letters "this prescription has expired. Do not fill it"" I told her my daughter gets her contacts over the internet with needing a yearly eye exam. This company hates its patients. Period. She had nothing to offer except rudeness and lack of concern Oh and their robot that answers the phone is really ridiculous. She used to go on and on answering questions you didn't even ask. 5 minutes of monologue from her when all you need to know is what time is my appointment. At least that's better. Now she says things like". I can help you schedule an appointment. Oops something has gone wrong. Please call back later. No I will get an agent to help you". Are you kidding me?. I will say that the optometrists I've seen there over the years have been wonderful and the products have been fantastic. But what's going on there now is heartbreaking.

Extremely disappointed. After being a patient here for as long as I can remember, I will never…read morereturn to Primary Eye Care. I had become increasingly dissatisfied over the last few years but continued coming because this was the office I had always gone to. This experience was the final straw. I scheduled an appointment online on August 13th, largely because getting someone to answer the phone is nearly impossible. I received appointment reminders on August 14th and August 18th. On August 18th, the office also called me to confirm my appointment. I spoke directly with someone and confirmed it. On August 21st, I arrived 15 minutes early for my 3:00 PM appointment. At check-in, I was told they were running behind and it would be a while. I said, "Wonderful," and sat down. I wasn't upset about waiting--I expected it. Five minutes later, I was called back to the desk and told I DIDN'T HAVE AN APPOINTMENT because it had been canceled for failure to confirm. I explained that was impossible. I had received multiple reminders AND personally spoke with someone from their office to confirm it. Instead of acknowledging that something clearly went wrong on their end, I was told the phone conversation never happened. Then today, August 28th--SEVEN DAYS AFTER MY APPOINTMENT--I received a text from Primary Eye Care saying my August 21st appointment at 3:00 PM had been canceled. So which is it? I was turned away on August 21st because I supposedly didn't have an appointment because it had already been canceled. Yet seven days later, their own system sent me confirmation that the appointment existed and was just now being canceled. Afterward, I learned that they did essentially the same thing to my mom only a few weeks earlier. Mistakes happen. What is unacceptable is refusing to take accountability, wasting a patient's time, and telling them a phone conversation they personally had with your office never occurred. After being a longtime patient, Primary Eye Care has permanently lost my business and my family's business. Your patients' time matters. Your patients deserve to be listened to. And when your office makes a mistake, own it instead of making the patient feel like they're the problem. I strongly recommend others consider their options before choosing this office.
